This product is very convenient. Much easier to store and clean than the electric versions. I have owned 2 different electric food processors: one was too small and the other had too many pieces and was very bulky to store. Chopping power was not too much of an issue: a little tough to get started when completely packed but once it starts spinning it isn't an issue at all. I am very happy with this Manual Food Processor by OXO. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I started using this product the minute It was delivered. Pesto was easy and done in 30 seconds. Tabouleh (Parsley salad with green onion and mint) needed much more work, but after a little extra work that too was done in 2-3 minutes (vs. 20 minutes hand chopping). Overall I highly recommend, just know that the manual knob isn't always as easy to turn with some items as others. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have been wanting a food processor, but it just hasn't been in the budget. I decided to try this little gadget to start out. I love the locking lid, and once I figured out how it worked, the suction feature on the bottom. Nothing is going to move this thing with the suction locked down, that's for sure! The rotating knob is easy to use and gets you burning a few extra calories, which is always a plus! The blades are sharp, but not sharp enough to cut through stale bread to make bread crumbs. I was unsuccessful in the task, since the blades kept getting stuck. It worked fabulously in smoothing a marinara sauce I made, though! I imaging this will work really well for guacamole or hummus and can't wait to try making them with this gadget. Very handy tool for my kitchen! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Tiny New York City apartment living has discouraged me from investing in an electric food processor—I can't even imagine where I'd put one!—but this handy manual food processor from OXO fits the bill perfectly. Pleasantly surprised by the capacity of the food processor itself, which will allow you to make more than enough of your favorite dips, sauces, etc. to please a crowd. I was also skeptical of how well the food processor's suction cup would adhere to my counter top, but it hasn't budged once when locked into place. I've used the food processor to make fresh salsas, guacamole, and a chimichurri sauce for grilled kebabs—all with minimal effort and consistently-textured results. Love that the entire food processor is dishwasher safe, making clean up painless and also appreciate that the handle fits inside the body of the food processor when not in use for easy storage. As someone who is always making quick soups or appetizers, chopping large amounts of foods like onions, peppers, celery, etc. by hand is just an annoying hassle and makes an unnecessary mess. The OXO One Stop Chop Manual Food Processor really is my savior. I initially was not sure that it was up for the task as it looked like your basic manual chopper, nothing special. However, as I looked more closely, I could tell that the quality of the blade and the super-convenient suction cup on the bottom would make this job a breeze - and it truly did. I put in a half of large onion that was cut into a few large pieces, and the chopper did the rest in seconds with just a few turns. It was super easy on my hands and the easy-grip handle made it effortless. The suction cup on the bottom kept the chopper super stable and it did not move an inch on my counter as I chopped. Cleanup was a breeze and with a quick soapy rinse, it was good to go. I am extremely impressed and pleased with this product and am confident it will get many years of consistent use in my kitchen. I have nearly cut onions out of my home cooked meal diet because my eyes are so sensitive and they can be such a pain to chop. After getting this stop chop my life is changed! I am also trying to eat clean and cut out unnecessary processed foods from my diet, pre-minced garlic has been the hardest thing to replace. With the stop chop I can mince a ton of garlic at the beginning of the week to prep all my meals throughout the week. It's a total breeze! I was nervous because of all the cheap and ineffective “slap chop” type products. This. Changed. The game. This is especially true given the fact that this is so super easy to clean since it has no difficult hard to reach spots. The pictures are of five cloves of garlic that I chopped in literally less than fifteen seconds. Now do you get what I mean when I say life changing?! This little hand-crank chopper is perfect for small households and people with limited kitchen space. I have a large food processor and I only cook for two so it's kind of a pain if I want to make a small batch of pesto, hummus or salsa. I like that this is a pretty small device and doesn't take up much storage or counter space. It's super simple to clean, much easier than a large food processor. I used this to make fresh pesto dressing and the size is perfect for that. The hand crank is easy to use but did require quite a bit of cranking to get the pesto to the consistency I wanted. The three blades at varying heights helps to get everything chopped without having to keep opening the lid to scrape the bowl, which is nice. I will say that it does not chop very uniformly if you want to chop onions, but I do like it for making a rough-chopped salsa. It's perfect for salsa as the hand crank is easier to control than an electric-powered machine so it's easier to get a chunky consistency rather than becoming pureed. I love the bottom suction. It works very well and stays stuck to my counter until I want to remove it. Very smart feature, Oxo! It would be nice if mixing bowls came with that suction! We used this manual food processor to make homemade salsa with ingredients from our garden and it couldn't have been easier! The suction cup stabilized the entire unit to my counters so it felt safer to use and my four year old was able to help! We added all the ingredients and instantly had fresh homemade salsa for dinner. We removed the blades and just served it directly from the bowl. Clean up was easy in the sink (I hand wash everything but it says it's dishwasher safe). The blade and handle store inside the bowl for easy storage. I would definitely recommend this for every kitchen! It's small to store, easy to use, and is a great everyday tool! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I used the one stop chopper on onions and vegetables with great success. I also used it to chop nuts and it worked great. Easy to clean with removable blade. Also great to have the removable handle for easy storage. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love my electric food processor. But it's big, and heavy and has a ton of parts to clean. Also, my toddler is terrified of the noise it makes. Enter this little gadget. There are just 3 parts: the bowl, the blades and the lid. When I first got it out, my son asked: will it be noisy? Much to his delight it wasn't. First things first: out of the box, it's simple to assemble and use. The suction cup thingy locks it to the counter, and it isn't going anywhere. The first thing I tried was onions: I hate chopping onions: they always make me cry. For my recipe, I only needed 1/2 an onion, so I peeled it an in it went. A couple of easy handle turns, and I had my chopped onions. So far, so good! I'm confident that it would easily handle more onion than I used too. Next up, cilantro, pick the leaves from the stems, a turn or two, and finely chopped cilantro! So it's good with the hard, chunky stuff and good with the soft leafy stuff. To clean up, I took the 3 parts and popped them in the dishwasher. Overall, it seems to be pretty sturdy, and the blades are sharp. I was worried that I might need a bit of muscle to spin the blades, especially with the chunkier stuff, but it doesn't require much effort at all. I can see this device being a regular part of my meal prep. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
