Panasonic (980002833) 1.6-cu. ft. Microwave Oven Reviews

I love this microwave. It has plenty of room inside and has lots of useful features. I already have an older model at our cabin and bought this one to use in our current home. I really can't find a thing wrong with it. Both the older model and this newer model are everything I could want in a microwave oven.

Very powerful and fast microwave with large diameter turntable. At 1250Watts it's probably the highest power unit available at this price (most others are 1000Watts). Very happy with it!

We were in the process of remolding our kitchen. The Panasonic microwave we had was too large for our space. Therefore we gave our old 2.2 cu. ft. microwave which is less than two years old, to our daughter. We have had a number of microwaves over the years and Panasonic has been the best both in performance and how long they have lasted.

This microwave is not just high functioning (takes about 30 seconds less time to heat a food item than our other oven though the other one was higher wattage), it's sleek and looks fantastic in the kitchen as well. In addition, fingerprints show less around the control panel and side than my other oven so maintenance is easier.

We are very pleased with this microwave. Although it is large inside the fact that it is shorter helps it fit on the counter nicely. I did a lot of comparison shopping and Sam's Club had the best price for this model.

We are very pleased with our Panasonic microwave. It cooks evenly but doesn't overcook. The turn table is big and can hold large bowls, plates etc. It also looks very nice in our kitchen

I was using a tiny low powered microwave for the past 2 years and after using this one I'm in love with it. Even popcorn taste better. I didn't realize that cooking popcorn with a higher powered microwave would make it pop bigger and fluffier. I can fit up to my 9x13 pan and still turn fine. There are only 2 things that would make it perfect, 1) if it had a 30 second button. Kind of miss that from my old microwave but not worth going back to that one at all. 2) instant buttons for 1-5 minutes.

Nicely designed and works just like it should. This microwave replaced an older one in the fellowship area of our church and it has been used a lot. It heats food great and cooks just like it should. It is large enough for large bowls and heats evenly.

I bought this, took it home and plugged it in and it exploded! Totally kidding! That DID NOT HAPPEN but after I read some of the reviews you would think that's what would have happened. I have had this for a month and its pretty awesome! No issues and I definitely recommend buying this. It works great and heats much faster than my old Sharp 100 watt. Not sure about all that inverter technology business as I am just your average working Joe but it does seem to heat my sammiches and stuff pretty evenly - so take that for what its worth - just my word. Buy this nuking device thing if you need to heat stuff up!

I actually returned this item about 3 days after purchase. It was too large for our space and oddly shaped. Those things could easily work for someone else, but outside of that, it was also VERY loud. It was like a rocket launch every time we cooked something.
