I reside in Tucson, AZ where summer temperatures reach over 100+ ! My Philips Airfryer keeps me from heating up my kitchen and also saves me the difficult cleaning of my glass cooktop. There are 3 Philips Airfryers in our family! I gifted one daughter the same model as mine. Unfortunately the timer didn't operate in her first use. She will be contacting you today for a replacement.

Why have an app for this of it has absolutely no help? No tips, no tricks, no recipes except the 22 that are in the book it came with which are underwhelming at best. There is seriously not one thing this app can be used for except to give you this feedback.

We just received our air fryer and we love it. We waited 18 months to buy this one. We told ourselves we couldn't buy this air fryer until the old one died. Unfortunately we didn't know if we should spend that much money on an air fryer. After using the old one we said “yeah we should haveâ€. So now we're happy because this one has no electronics to go bad, well, a lot less electronics to go bad. The tech they used on this was in the cooking, not the controls. It has all that it needs - temp and time - that's it. I've used this for what I need it to cook. It does a great job. Buy it, you'll LOVE it!!!!

It only works in cases that it works: it does tend to dry things out...also just like boiling or frying the convection does need to contact a surface area....
It is amazing how I placed two fairly large beef steaks in the unit how fast it comes out fully cooked. Only problem was I didn't have the onions and mushrooms cut up in time.
It didn't even take 10 minutes to fully cook! No preheating at all.. It was more well done than I wanted it. But very good and quite a bit easier than I usually find it.
The next time I used the onions and mushroom and also a lot of greens (cut up for added nutrients) after about 4 or 5 minutes when it started to smell good I threw in the veggies and occasionally moved it around by shaking the basket and it came out awesome. Of course lightly salt all the fatty areas and maybe a tiny bit on the lean parts as well. Only the fatty stuff needs more than just a touch of salt.

I feel I cannot recommend this product to friends because it's not only a bit of work, remembering to check the meal and cook again over a # of times. The clean up is really my concern. There is a lot to clean up. Not just a fry pan or casserole or oven pan but a # of pieces to clean. Bothersome. Now I am stuck w/many payments to make or pay to return. I thought it was suppose to be an easy one step clean process. The advertising on tv was misleading, I could have said no but I was curious as to the whole process of this type of cooking, now I know.

I also own two other air fryers. The Philips XXL is my favorite and the most used out of the three. It comes with a nice user friendly cookbook. You can also order a grill pan and rack with metal skewers that fit the XXL and extends its use. Very nice product.
