My children had a blast watching the popcorn pop and enjoyed the taste of the finished product. I have had the benefit of Presto's hot air popper available to me since I was a child, so this was a bit of a change. I enjoyed the taste and the instructions are easy to follow with a table for how much popcorn to use and the amount of oil to add for desired serving sizes. I like the air-pop poppers for popping without the oil, but this works well. We opted not to use the butter melting feature on top of the bowl to make cleaning easier. It is nice to be able to use the popping bowl to hold the popcorn when finished. Just don't forget to put on the black lid or you'll have an oil/butter mess. Cleaning the heating unit is easy with the wipe of a paper towel once it cools.

I really enjoyed using this popcorn popper. I have another kind of popcorn popper with a lid that I borrowed from my mother-in-law, that I can now return. Stove top popcorn is so much better than microwave popcorn and this popcorn popper was not hard to use at all. You are able to add your oil, butter, and sugar if you're making kettle corn. You're also able to use the same bowl that you pop the popcorn in as a serving bowl. It comes with instructions that's pretty much explanatory. You pretty much flip the popper over once the kernels stop popping to prevent scorching. Clean up your mess and you're done. It's easy to clean. The popper pops the kernels very quickly usually around 5 minutes depending on how much you have in there. I would definitely recommend this. Movie night at home.

Sometimes I want both oil and butter on my popcorn, and this popper is fabulous! Electric stirri g ATM to ensure kernels don't burn. Large capacity lid/bowl with butter melter on top. Easy clean. Good recipes on the manufacturer's website. Attractive unit and packaging. I love to watch it stir and enjoy the fresh popped aroma. I use it all the time!

I really like popcorn and this is reminiscent of popping it growing up but no constant shaking of the pan—and no popcorn popping outside of the lid! In my attached pictures I fixed 1/2c. Of white kernel popcorn with 2 Tablespoons of popping oil. It only took a total of 4 min 25 seconds and every kernel popped. I used the Kettle Corn favoring I bought at Walmart. Very delicious. Better than microwave popcorn imho. Will be using this quite a bit.

I have my moms electric popcorn maker from the early 70s. It doesn't even have an on/off switch but I could never find one that worked as well until I tried the presto popper! It pops 98% of the kerns and as an added bonus I don't have to worry it's gonna burn down my house! Seriously though I have tried a ton of poppers and this one is the best!!

The Presto popcorn popper does a great job at popping popcorn. It pops every kernel. But there are some draw back to it. 1st there is no on/off switch. 2: The way you add butter to the pop corn doesn't work, in that the butter stays on top and doesn't melt. I just put the butter in with the oil and be done with it. 3: It made of plastic which can break if you drop the top. A big problem if you have kids.

The Presto Electric Stirring Popper is a dream come true! This is my first time using oil instead of air to make popcorn. This particular model has a see-through dome, black non-stick bottom, and unique scalloped motorized arm that moves around the corn kernels so they pop easier. It can hold up to six quarts of your favorite kind of popcorn or you can pop less if you wish. On top of the dome are small holes that allow you to melt butter while it pops and it is evenly distributed with the help of the arm. Thanks to a friend's advice, I used a tablespoon of coconut oil instead of vegetable oil to give the corn a better taste. You can add popcorn salt, your own seasonings or follow the recipes in the book or online. I never liked the air poppers of the past and was too scared of using a kettle on the stove. This one has even made my lack of skill a thing of the past. Pretty much all kernels popped full of flavor with no burnt mess. The cover can be flipped over to use as a bowl and the base can nest nicely inside the cover for compact storage. It's great to use at home, on the road, or for a party. It makes that movie night or kids' sleepover all the more fun.

Liked this popcorn popper. Most of all the corn kernals popped. Follow instructions and it taste delicious. I did not like the way extra seasoning like salt or cheese toppings settle to the bottom. The top inverts to a bowl for eating the popcorn which is really nice. But this bowl has ridges for steam to escape. It has a cover for the steam slits and when used as a bowl all the seasonings (if you use extra like we do) settles in the bottom in the ridges of the bowl. But other than that, I enjoyed this popper. First one we have had and we were impressed.

The Presto Stirring Popper is entertaining to watch the corn pop through the clear bowl/cover. I was disappointed that Presto did not put a switch on the appliance. Another concern is the bottom exterior gets hot so care needs to be taken when flipping the popper over. The butter dispenser is nothing more than some slots at the top for the melted butter to drip through. I am pleased with the efficiency of the popper. I attached a picture of the the few old maids that were left after popping a half cup of corn. I still would recommend to a friend

I am a Walmart Spark Reviewer, and I had the opportunity to review the Presto 05250 Electric Stirring Popper. I am a popcorn lover so I was excited as I removed this item from the box. It was easy to use and handle. I love that the instructions include a chart of the amounts of popcorn, oil and butter to measure for the desired amount of popcorn. Be sure to remove the top lid for the butter as instructed. I carefully followed the instructions. It is motorized and was quick to heat and start popping the popcorn. One thing that did not happen for me was the butter did not melt into the popper. I used one-third of a cup of popcorn. The instructions indicate soft butter. Next time I will let it soften more. The popcorn popped full kernels and all kernels popped. Users should not leave the unit unattended and be prepared to flip the popper immediately when the popping ends to prevent the popcorn from burning. Flipping the popper as instructed was easy. The cover can serve as the serving bowl, but I would recommend putting the lid on the butter dispenser area because it will become the bottom of the cover. It was easy to clean and store. I enjoyed the popcorn!
