I love this hand blender because it is powerful enough to do the job I usually take down my big glass mixer to do. And it is easier to clean also which is a Big plus for me.

This seems to do a good job when blending soothies but it can bog down if you are using it for much thicker things like making soap.

This was the least expensive blender I found while comparison shopping and it works perfectly! It is easy to use and cleaning was fast and simple. I recommend this product for all blending tasks.

In reference to some of the bad reviews I read - It's not a restaurant/industrial tool, meaning it is not intended for crushing ice or blending large or hard dry ingredients. Its main purpose is to quickly and easily puree soups right in the pot or even COOKED vegetables such as when making mashed potatoes. Also great for making smoothies or shakes right in the drinking glass. Love this hand blender!

I bought this to replace a similar model that had been in the family for 15+ years. While the design has changed the function and performance are much the same. Use it to mix protein shakes in the a.m. directly in the glass.
