Excellent toaster oven the toasts/heats evenly. Better than the more expensive ovens I've had in the past.

I bought this for the office, because I simply wanted to toast bagels, and cook pizzas. For the price, I was not expecting anything beyond basic cooking. In use, I've actually been very impressed with this toaster. It heats up very quickly, cooks evenly, and is easy to clean up. I've had larger toasters costing (literally) ten times as much, that cooked unevenly. Don't let the price put you off; this is a really great toaster. My one word of advice is that it heats up much faster than most of the larger toaster ovens, and you should reduce your estimated cooking time by about 20% to prevent over cooking.

Was tired of turning on big oven to cook toast, or warm something. Have had it 4 days and have used it 10 times, WORKS WELL! Is small & doesn't take much space which was important for my small kitchen. Pros: Don't have to turn on big oven! Perfectly defrosts & bakes: frozen dinners, burritos, potato cakes, small pizza. Costs less than $20! Cons: I have arthritis - Knobs are not easy to turn but not hard either. Does not turn off when door is opened, you have to turn knob to turn it off. I use a pot-holder or fork to pull out the tray. Would recommend to a friend - Works Well!

I have had this for at least 2 years. Takes up very little space and does the trick. Toast comes out great and at times I don't even bother heating up the oven I can bake and broil in it too. Being a former Home Ec teacher I can appreciate an appliance that does double duty.

We purchased one of these less than 3 years ago and now the timer handle spring is failing so you cannot turn it off or set it for Bake, Broil or toast. So, it's basically shot. Two other negatives on this model, that we just lived with: 1) The knobs have no ridges, so they are very slick and sometimes when working in the kitchen your hands can't properly grasp to turn (bad, cheap design). 2) The glass door isn't hinged properly so unless you gently pull it down all the way, it wants to slam shut - or if you accidentally bump the underside of the door it wants to slam shut. Too bad many products are just made so cheaply, that all we can do it trash it and buy another.

The unit is way too narrow and cooking/toasting area would barely fit 4 slices of bread. It got way too hot and smelled like the wiring was going to burst into flames. If there was a way to give 1/4 a star I would. I understand you get what you pay for but not in this case. It went right back to Walmart and the search continues for a better quality product. Don't buy it!!!

I paid $20 for this at walmart. I wanted to be able to bake without using the oven and figured I'd try this. So far it works according to the manual but it's very hard to turn the knobs on the toaster. You have to be wearing an oven mitt because when you try to turn the knob, it moves the toaster because it's so hard to turn, the toaster gets hot. i have found my hands slipping off the knob when trying to turn it so the oven mitt is so I can hold the toaster in place while turning the knob. Also you have to determine how long to actually bake/broil because some things cook fast in this oven. You must also watch it (like any other toaster oven) don't leave it unattended.

overall the product worked well.....the problem I had didn't start until I had owned it for close to a year....I noticed that the door wasn't closing tightly anymore and upon close inspection noted that the tab that holds the glass in the door was coming loose on the left hand side and cannot be fixed.....since the item didn't cost much I am not even going to bother trying to get any kind of service repair done because I figure the time to do all that is just not worth it......I plan on replacing with something better

I bought this to be used only as a toaster and/or to heat bread in the morning. Works great as a toaster. I have no intention to bake with it. Fits 4 slices of regular/small slices of bread with a snug fit.

Bought this after returning a $50 Black & Decker version. I was worried about the massive metal-like smell I got from the first one. The first one also never toasted and got sooo hot. I figured may as well get the cheapest one it couldn't be worse than the other. So excited, it toasts quick, doesn't get too hot on the surface, melted cheese on my little pizzas fast, and didn't have the awful metal-like smell! Well a tiny bit, but not anywhere near noticeable like the other brand. It is well worth the money, of course it's not going to cook a turkey, but it doesn't claim to. Love this thing no complaints for $18! I also owned a Rival microwave that lasted me 10+ years. It honestly works a million times better than the $50 model I bought. Unless you want to bake cookies, cakes, or broil things- buy this, but honestly I would have no problem popping some cookies in there to bake!
