I absolutely love the look of this microwave. It is so sleek and clean and I like not having a handle in the front to add to that sleek look. After using it for a while, the microwave does have great power. I love the different light and vent settings. (The vent has helped many times for when we were using the stove!) I do really like the sensor cooking. It worked great especially the popcorn function! If I had any complaints about this microwave so far, it would be the fingerprints on the microwave from touching the buttons. It is not exactly fingerprint resistant but other than that, this microwave is wonderful. Install was super-fast as well. I do recommend this microwave especially for the looks alone. What a beautiful addition to our kitchen this microwave has been. Our beautiful kitchen is now complete with wonderful Samsung products. This microwave is perhaps my favorite of them all. Super stylish and so easy to use. With so many convenient features this microwave is so simple our kids have no problem using it. The ceramic interior is my favorite feature. Cleaning up spills and splashes has never been easier and it always looks great. The smart sensor cooking makes every thing we've put in the microwave turn out great. The size of the microwave is also wonderful, at 2.1 cu ft. this microwave can fit every dish in our kitchen and sometimes 2 at a time. So happy to be a Samsung Insider. This 2.1 cu. ft. over the range microwave is the perfect addition to our kitchen appliance updates. I love the sleek modern look of this microwave. There is no handle on the front of the microwave, the handle is on the side. The control panel on the bottom is very easy to use. I really love the all the presets for cooking food. It has been time saver and has cooked everything we have tried perfectly. There is a kids meal button, pizza, reheat, popcorn among the many options. Defrosting meat has been perfect and evenly defrosted for the time set depending on the pounds of the meat. The Samsung microwave has a sleek look. I really enjoy the door handle is hidden on the side of the microwave. It is a different look but looks so modern. The easy to use buttons on the lower front make it easy to access and read. I was afraid that I might have trouble reading the buttons but found that I did not have any challenge. The variety of buttons gives you many options to head and cook items. My go to button is the 30 second quick button. This is easy to use in between checking on your food at the end of a cook. The cooking area has a shelf that allows me to cook several items at one time. The kids fit button makes the cooking quick and easy. I enjoy the light function on the microwave. The blue interior is a complete upgrade from the standard coloring of other microwaves. The two-tier cooking is the most wonderful thing. Open the microwave and there you have a turntable and a removable rack. With the rack you can tier cook or reheat, a time saver. There're all these pre-set selections for example you have kids' meals, veggies, reheat, fit choice, cook, snacks, sensor and more. The microwave's venting system is powerful with three separate fan speeds. Did you say handle, well since it's a modern sleek design there's no handle, which adds to the style. The LED under lights adds ambience to the Kitchen. The washable filter is nice, but yes there's more, no guessing when it's time to wash the filter, the microwave comes equipped with a filter indicator light. With all the preset selections, the food cooks or reheats to perfection, no more rubbery food. The days of wiping down the microwave every time someone touches it is over its fingerprint resistant. The glass touch controls are precise. You even have an eco-mode to conserve power; it turns off the display when not in use. Samsung had the consumer needs in mind when they designed the microwave. I bought this new Samsung microwave to replace my failing old microwave . this new Samsung smart microwave replaces my old standard microwave . It has many convenient features that help accommodate my busy lifestyle. My first use of this microwave was to use the one pound defrost feature to thaw out hamburger for a meal it works perfectly without browning the meat. The turntable in this unit turn slower turn my previous microwaves which I think allows for more even cooking the large print on the buttons make it easy to see and use the many features available. The way the door opens from the side makes the front of this unit attractive without handles sticking out. The black interior is easy to clean and the coating seems more durable than standard microwaves. I will start with aesthetics. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a more sleek and modern looking microwave. Not having a visible handle and re-positioning the controls to along the bottom of the door really makes for a clean look! The handle is recessed on the right side and for those who choose to exhaust inside rather than through the wall, the fan blows up through hidden vents behind the top of the door ( was very curious how they routed the exhaust as it wasn't visible like the microwave it replaced). The controls are very easy to use and there are sensor presets for many types of foods. It is a glass panel so you only need to touch it, not press as there are no buttons. Though I've not used all of the presets, I can say the reheat plate function works perfectly! The food was heated through without being over-cooked. This microwave is much quieter than my old one as well! There is a guide on the inside of the microwave that details all of the selections for each preset, it is very useful. I also used the 1 lb defrost function for a pound of veggie "meat" I needed to defrost and it came out perfectly. Defrosted all the way through but not cooked as some microwaves do. The light function has two levels, touch once for high and again for low. Touching the "button" a third time turns the light off. It illuminates the cook surface well with a bluish colored light. The vent function operates the same way by touching once for high and then again for each step down. There are a total of four fan speeds with the highest moving a lot of air but fairly loud and lowest being much quieter. I use the second to lowest and lowest setting most of the time and it works great. I cannot speak to longevity as I've only had it two weeks but it seems well built and with no visible handle to break, should last and look beautiful for a long time. Overall I'm thrilled with the form and function of the Samsung microwave and would definitely recommend it! I received this product at a discount in exchange for an unbiased review. From the second the installation was complete our family was impressed with this microwave. Right away, our kitchen felt modernly upgraded. This microwave is sleek and beautiful inside and out. There is plenty of space inside that a large meal dish can fit. You can easily heat up large family meals without having to portion it out first. This saves us so much time when eating leftovers! One of the features my kids love is how great the underneath light is. They love how well it lights the room and how helpful it is while cooking. So far all of our food has come out perfectly cooked. We have had no issues with overcooking at all! One of my favorite features is the Ceramic enamel interior that is so easy to clean and does not show every teeny, tiny speck of dirt. Keeping a clean microwave is not a dreaded chore anymore. Not to mention my boys yucky finger prints do not collect on the stainless steel finish after every single use. There are also so many presets on this microwave that we have not even had the chance to use them all yet. We have absolutely loved this Samsung upgrade and all of the features that just make our lives a little easier everyday, because every second does count! Ha! That is my favorite response by people who come over! It is surprising how simply removing the door handle added so much sophistication and style to an appliance that is typically overlooked. The surprises continue on the inside. I've never had a split level microwave before and it comes in quite handy when heating up multiple plates. I have never been a fan of using microwave presets, but this has completely changed my mind. The presets are extremely accurate and perfect for a quick select heat up. Sensor cooking has been a fun adventure as well. Similar to presets, sensor cooking monitors the item being heated up and stops accordingly. The range features are pretty intuitive as well. 3 settings on the fan instead the usual 2 but the 1st 2 have been great in getting the job done. While most over the range lights are really dim and focused in 1 area, this range has 2 brightness settings and lights up the full area of the stove. Although the microwave is brand new, I'm excited for the moment when the filter cleaning indicator light comes on. Admittedly, the over the range filter is one of those things that never gets clean because I never remember. Samsung continues to surprise and impress with their selection of appliances.
