It was easy to order and came earlier than expected! Unfortunately my father was not able to read the face of the controls. I'm in the process of returning the microwave, but because of the corona virus taking it to a store for return isn't possible. I'm going to try shipping it back!

Sharp microwaves have always been my favorite because of dependability. I have had 2 microwaves in 45 years both Sharp .

I replaced my Whirlpool 1100 watt microwave with this Sharp 1100 watt microwave and it keeps shutting down if I try to cook for more than 5 or 6 minutes... I set it for 20 minutes with potatoes covered with only water and it didn’t make it to 8 minutes before shutting down and went completely dead until it apparently cooled off...tried it again... same results...I need to know I can leave the room for 20 minutes while something cooks in the microwave.
