I bought this to replace my 1994 Sharp Carousel Microwave. It still worked, but was looking pretty haggard after 26 years, so I opted to replace it with a new model. Good job Sharp! I've only had this one for one week and so far, it is terrific. As other reviewers have mentioned, I do wish there was some lighting behind the controls as they are difficult to see, but once I become familiar with which button is where, I am sure it will be fine. The timer/clock light is very bright. A lighted control panel, when the door is open, would have been a plus. I definitely wanted one with a push button that opens the door and this one has that feature. I don't feel it is as heavy as the old model and I do have to place my hand on the top, to steady the microwave, to keep it from scooting around the microwave table (1980's S

I have no idea how it works. Bought it for my mom for mother?s day and it arrived late with a three inch hole through the box. Ironically, whatever went through the box also went through the glass door....

This one I just picked up and is replacing my last Sharp that i had for 10+ years. Love it for the most part. It just has a few little differences compared to the OG one. I think the one thing that bugs me the most is its got the Orville Redenbaucher Popcorn logo so you'd think at the least it can accurately pop a bag of Orville Redenbauchers via the sensor but nope not even close. Stops it over 40 sec premature.

This is a very attractive stainless steel wave. The images presented are true to life. The wave simple to use and the buttons are easy to understand and press. The turntable works well. It is also simple to clean. I received it much quicker than expected and it arrived safely.

Love EVERYTHING! Not sure why everyone keeps saying there is no light inside unless the unit is on; on mine, you open the door and there is light! I haven't gotten to use it much just yet; but so far; I have NO complaints. I just hope this one lasts somewhere near as long as my old Sharp did; 22 years!!!

I have been using Sharp brand microwave oven for the last 30 years. It's very reliable and easy to operate. I purchased this because the light bulb in my current oven went out after 20 years of services. The oven is still working but with slightly lower power. I shopped over the net and found Walmart offered significantly lower price(20% lower) than competitions. The oven arrived in 5 days with sturdy packaging. I have added Walmart to my web shopping stores since.

Ive had mine for over 6 months now and it is incredible . Very powerful, easy to keep clean, and perfect size for my family of 5 without taking up a lot of room in the kitchen.
