My daughters and I all love spiralizing and the kids enjoy the different foods we can make using the spiralized veggies. Now we have an amazing time saver and can prepare meals faster.

I've used this 2x now. Once for sweet potatoe and beets. It works pretty well but leaves quite a bit of an end piece. I've just sliced those up manually so over all am satisfied.

I got this at the beginning of the month of December as a gift to myself. An electric spiralizer would be faster compared to a manual one. There was a bit of a learning curve to getting it to work but once I got the part that holds the vegetable in place working to hold the veggie in the right spot then it was easy. Now I can make my favorite spiral veggie dishes in a very short time using this electric version of a spiralizer. I didn't take any photos when I've used it but I'm very happy with the results. I spiralized all kinds of veggies from softer ones to hard ones like carrots. There was enough power for anything I tried. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I bought the starfrit electric spiralizer a few weeks ago and don't know how I lived without it. I have been experimenting with a variety of vegetables for my side dishes at dinner. My family is very impressed with my creativity. I have made wonderful raw salads as well as stir fried gourmet creations. it is a great way to get the family to eat vegetables and they all look and taste better. The possibilities are endless. I actually look forward to preparing our meals.

After looking at a lot of products and reading a lot of reviews, I purchased the Starfrit spiralizer, and am very pleased that I did. I've been using it for almost a month now, and it zips through carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, sweet potatoes and broccoli stems. One thing I've learned - sweet potatoes can have a 'spongy' skin and you have to peel them well to avoid clogging the blade. I'm having a lot of fun with this little appliance!

I find this obviously has a big learning curve. The food must be very firm and exactly the right size. I have had problems with the veg and fruit just crushing or not going through the tube. There is also lots of waste that does not get specialized. My hand held one is much easier. I will continue to try, but right now I feel it may be the worst investment I have ever made in a kitchen appliance.

I have used hand appliances, where the shape of the fruit or vegetable is bot very important. With this device, it has to fit in a fairly small and narrow opening. A regular size apple has to be cut. A large potato will need to be cut into many pieces. I have used hand devices that can handle a full size baking potato. The compact storage is nice - it does take up space otherwise. Device is all plastic, looks sturdy but I can't provide f/b on ruggedness yet.
