First of all, it’s listed as 22lbs but it’s feels closer to 5 lbs. it’s so lightweight that I thought of no it could be a problem. However it is not the case. It cooks, toasts, pizzas , bakes, and rotisserie chicken well. The controls are good but the screen steams over when in use. The handle stays cool but in some functions it heats up the sides and the whole handle is hot. There’s no light inside nor preheat and no way to lower the volume of that beep when turning it on or off or when it’s done. That beep is quite loud where you can hear it 2 rooms over. The rack is oddly shaped and I don’t know why. It’s fully straight so there’s no need for a bump out rack. Also the crumb tray, the lip to hold and pull it out is high. It could be 1/2 inch longer overall to catch all the crumbs. It would be nice to be able to remove the metal grate covering the upper element to clean, especially the front one. I barely got the rotisserie chicken in but it bumped into the front element and got some of the exterior seasoning on it. Which of course burns as it cooks. I was able to get most of it out where it didn’t burn while cooking and after it cooled. There’s still residual that I can’t get to come out when cleaning. So far just soap and water, after vacuuming the crumbs have been able to keep this clean. Would be nice to have a rotating basket and skewers so the rotation function can do more.

It looks good. Digital display is nice. Downward opening door is better than sideways. There is only about 6 inches top to bottom so you can rotisserie a cornish hen but even an average size chicken would be difficult to impossible. The 'convecton' function creates a slight buzz but NO perceptible air flow. It takes an hour & a half to cook chicken wings - as long or longer than the toaster oven I replaced that didn't claim to be convection. The elements draw enough current that kitchen lights dim when they switch on (no other toaster oven I have owned did this) you must have a circuit Just for this oven. I paid almost $80 for this & you can buy a toaster oven that works just as well but doesn't pretend to be convection or rotisserie for about half the money.

This oven heats quickly and evenly, and is nice and spacious. The controls take a little getting used to, but that comes with practice (and/or from reading the instructions). My only complaint relates to the wire shelf inside that slides in and out. The oven this one replaced had a "catch," so the shelf would only come out about halfway and then would hang/stop. This one does not have that feature, which I found out the hard way when I pulled it forward one morning two pieces of toast went right out onto the floor. Not a major thing, you just have to be careful when taking out the food that you have cooked or toasted, so one star off for that design flaw. Very happy with it overall though.

The toaster itself is fine. Cooks evenly, has plenty of functions, its fine. My only complaint about the item itself is the buzzer is too loud; you can hear it from anywhere in my house (2100sqft) which is annoying when we're putting our son to sleep but whatever. But the service is lacking. This thing came with a very warped crumb tray, when in place it sits at an angle and touches the lower heating elements. I emailed Midea (the actual manufacturer of this item) and they had me go through all the motions, send them proof of purchase, serial number, etc. And then nothing. Its been nearly 5 months. Sad, this is a good toaster but its going to be a problem to clean for me without the tray.

Very pleased with my new Toshiba convection oven. I've only had it for a short time and have not been able to utilize too many of the functions. One function I cannot use at all (unless I purchase a drip Pan) is a rotisserie setting because the included Pan is falling short almost 2" I have already notified Toshiba and they have claimed they will be sending me out what I require, March of this year. The fan seems a little weak I'm not sure if it's even blowing All that being said, it is still working as it should and I am pleased with it.

This oven is billed as a convection oven. So why then does it not contain a rack that fits inside the baking pan? If you lay your food (chicken nuggets, fries, etc) on the flat baking pan without a rack, then you are defeating the purpose of having a convection oven. Which is to heat everywhere at once. Top AND bottom. I'm told, all you have to do is flip them. I don't want to flip them. That's why i bought a toaster oven with convection. So I wouldn't have to. Now, the 'crumb' tray. smh. You have to lift it over the opened glass door to remove, which means it is now at an angle, so your crumbs slide into the bottom of the toaster oven. Now you have to try and get the crumbs out that get caught under the heating elements. That's really fun. Lotta laughs. Most crumb trays slide out flat, from UNDER the door. Not this one. Genius at work folks. As far as heating. It works great. Toast is fast. Yes, you will need to use it a few times to figure where you want your light vs dark settings. But once you do, your golden. I've even tried toasting waffles on convection. And it worked great. 4minutes. Since I mainly use my toaster oven for broiling and baking, I'm not happy. Without a baking pan with rack, food just cooks in it's own grease. I won't do that. Did I mention I need a rack? As others have said, it's missing a grease drip tray also. If that came with it, I could cook on the regular rack that came with it, and put that grease tray under it. I was even willing to but one. But after searching Toshiba, and the entire internet, I haven't had any luck. If I just used as a toaster, I'd give it 5 stars. But 90% of my usage was intended for convection or broiling.

Exactly what we're looking for. We had a 6-year old toaster oven that worked great, but was too big to be on the counter. We decided to give this oven a try. It's very compact and powerful. We mostly use it for frozen snacks and vegetables, and works great. The cons we saw is the fact you can change temperatures only by 10 (forget that pizza at 375 degrees lol). And the time only goes by minute. Still a great buy.

An oven should be simple and reliable, this isn't. I should be able to choose the setting, the temp, the time... I do that, and press the start button, and nothing, particularly in bake. As I key this, it's been 12 minutes, on the bake setting, 400 degrees, and it's stone cold. Bottom line, I don't trust it to do its job, not something you want when you need to cook something. I will shop for a new oven, a different brand, and return this after Christmas.

Absolutely wonderful! Heats to 450• in less than 3 minutes! Amazing functions, great versatility, high end temperature controls and looks beautiful! Incredibly happy with my purchase and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. Especially someone who lives alone and doesn’t want to heat up a big oven every time they cook.

Pros: Easy to use. It allows me to adjust the time/temperature as needed while cooking. Attractive looking on the counter Cons: The setting texts are quite small. might be hard for some folks to see. Also unlike my previous oven, the time count down starts after the oven is heated to the set temperature. This one, the count down starts the moment you hit Start. So far still cooks nicely though

I use this oven/toaster/baker/roaster/warmer/rotisserie daily. Best one I have ever owned. Sturdy, intuitive controls, ample size, easy to clean. If you're toasting a couple of slices of bread or an English muffin, expect it to take a bit longer than a pop-up toaster, but what's the rush? By the time you've brewed your coffee and scrambled your eggs you got toast.

UPDATE: Having used this for a couple more days, I find that it has unsurmountable design flaws. In addition the the unfortunate lack of a light, it also has the odd feature of starting the timer countdown before temperature is reached, so you have to guess how long preheating will take, and add that to your cooking time, AND the alert goes off not when temperature is reached, but only when cooking is done, so you have to repeatedly check to see if the oven is at the correct temperature. It even burned my toast. I can't recommend it, and I'm going to return it. I just received this today, so I may update, but my first impressions are that it's big, but doesn't seem big enough to hold a whole chicken. It's loud, in that it clicks every few seconds when heated. And it would benefit GREATLY from an interior light, which my previous toaster oven had, and it made all the difference. Too bad that one was a P.O.S. that stopped heating, and that the company, Willsence, is a giant fraud with no customer service department and a fake website that contains fake links.

Bought this back in May 2020 It does the job and we love this little toaster until the bottom heating elements stopped working. Toast ended up cooked on the top side and cold on the bottom. Good thing we have Asurion for this as we've yet to hear from Toshiba support.

It has burned every single thing we have cooked. Pizza, rolls, toast, melting cheese, frozen dinners, etc. Absolutely everything has been over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. I have been baking and cooking for over 40 years and I get better results over a camp fire (not a joke - it is true). The timer does not let you bake for less than 10 min so with the improved efficiency of infrared you can't reduce the time enough to keep from burning cinnamon rolls or melting cheese. If you use the "pizza" setting it only cooks in convection mode and if you reduce the temperature to compensate for convection cooking the timer won't let you cook it for more than 12 min - that means a quality rising crust pizza will be doughy on the inside and burned on the outside. If you cook the same pizza on regular baking mode the infrared still over burns the outside by the time the inside is done. Who ever engineered this toaster oven has no clue about the chemistry of cooking. If you really want to buy this oven consider one of the options below. * If someone you know is a fabulous cook and you are jealous - give them one of these. * Your sister in-law brags about making the prefect frozen dinner - give her one of these. * You looking for a way to burn the egg white and leave the yoke runny - you need one of these. * You are making a movie and want to show the effect of a laser beam on a dinner roll - You need a one of these. * You want to create the most heat with the least amount of power and have no control over it for a science fair project - You need on of these.

Nothing wrong with it whatsoever. Kids love it, I love it. Kids beating up on me for ages to get one. Now I have one don’t understand why I didn’t get one before. The toaster function actually does work well. Good temperature control and darkness of toast is perfect (for us anyway). I’d definitely buy again.

No light, but the light up panel to see what you are programming is very nice. My old one had a light, but I had to use a flashlight to see what settings I had it on. So this one is much better. Always a trade-off! I have baked cakes and casseroles and lots of toast in this one over the past 2 months that I have owned it. Works well, I like the timer! Seems easy to keep clean.

My unit was wired with the upper and lower burners reversed. This meant that the drip tray sat directly on the burners when using the rotisserie function, which is a hell of a way to start a fire. I opened it up and the clearly marked wires were plugged in wrong. I fixed the wiring and put a piece of tape over the WAY TOO LOUD buzzer and now I'd give it 4/5 if it had come that way. As is, you're just buying a house fire.

Great unit with a few tiny flaws they’ll hopefully fix in future releases. Great: - easy to clean - lots of functions - easy to use - looks good - heats quicker than my old unit. - light weight (which is good because to use for long cooking it has to be moved from under cabinets to an open counter space) - low price for what it has. Misses: - no interior light - no manual function to choose how you want to cook - can’t independently control connect, have to select the mode that does or does not use it (though modes seem to cover almost everything). - steam from cooking blows out from door onto control panel which may create long term reliability issues. (Door has no seal). - short cord, and no cord wrap - no air fry basket option. (It should be capable, not certain for sure). Of potential concern: Is uses a LOT of power. This is not a complaint, any similar cooker will. If you plan to use one, and have standard 20amp circuit on your kitchen counter, you may find you blow the circuit. Just using the toaster and a keurig concurrently could be enough. For us it’s the toaster + keurig + drip coffee running at once. Thankfully I had an outlet on another counter on a separate circuit and moved the toaster. You should use it on a different kitchen circuit from other high-draw appliances or be careful what you run in parallel. Not a big deal for quick toasting but if making a roast for hours this could be an issue in some houses. This does draw 14 amp max by itself.

Our beloved Panasonic toaster oven was reaching end of life, and while we loved it, it was a bit small for some of the things we wanted to use it for. We found this Toshiba toaster oven on Amazon's website for a very reasonable price, and it looked like the $400 Breville we were eying but were too cheap to buy. Exactly like. We're happy enough with the Toshiba to keep it (and we'll probably get the Breville next time around), but here are our two "cons" with it: 1. It does not do toast exceptionally well. I have to turn it up to the highest setting and it's still not done enough. 2. The temperature settings are off. There is something I bake all the time, at 375 degrees in the real oven. In the Toshiba, I have to keep the temp down to about 340 to keep it from burning. And that's without the convection turned on. Other than that, the Toshiba serves our needs well. If a two-slice size toaster oven is sufficient for you, I heartily recommend the Panasonic, also available from Amazon.

Toshiba makes pretty good products but they failed with this oven and should take it off the market! As you can see in the picture, the rack slants downward when you slide it out and whatever you are cooking will slide right off and land on you or the floor. I caught my pan of enchiladas just in time! This is unsafe and cheaply made. I would NOT recommend it.

There are so many things I hate about this oven. I wish I could return it but I’m now past the return date so I’m stuck with it. I had another toaster oven which was much more simple that I loved except the heating started to get off which is why I replaced. I wish I hadn’t. 1) there is no in between temps. So you can’t do 325 degrees. You can only do 320 or 330. 2) it becomes greasy very quickly and hard to clean. It fogs up when heating. The controls are clunky. Buy something else.

I understand why this unit got so many good reviews, including for the controls, which feel really good. Unfortunately for us, the unit was too big for our limited kitchen counter, so we had to return it. If you are interested in purchasing this unit, I recommend that you check the size of your counter space to make sure it works.

I truly had no idea what to order. I needed to keep the price under a $100.00. I let the reviews guide me rather than name brand or price. This model and brand seemed to have adequate reviews and I didn't set my expectations too high. If you're considering this oven, you need to purchase an oven thermometer and meat thermometer and it needs to be preheated. The door does not seal very well, hence the need for your meat thermometer. The convection setting does not suffice for an air fryer. I find after a little over a month, I'm still fumbling with dials and settings. But it's already made a difference in the electric bill. Cleaning is as easy as any electrical appliance with that small an aperture could be. I'm still happy with it and would recommend it to anyone with realistic expectations.

We studied the list of different convection ovens and finally ordered the Toshiba AC25CEW-SS Digital Toaster Oven. It was a great choice and has been in use ever since. As a couple, we didn't like having to use our regular oven because it used too much energy and made our kitchen uncomfortably hot. Now we cook most foods in our new toaster oven, often in less time and effort. The top gets rather warm but it is a great way to warm plates. Only criticism is that it took a little while to get used to temp controls. If you buy this product, keep the temps lower than normal by 20 degrees. Love it!

This little ‘gem’ runs 35 degrees hot. Used twice and both times items were done 5 to 10 minutes sooner than package times. Put my grill thermometer in and set oven for 400... after oven stopped preheating it read 435. Ridiculous.

I have purchased three Black & Decker convection ovens over the years and wore them out, they worked great. When I bought a replacement B&D oven recently it seemed very cheaply constructed. I had some pans that worked in the older ovens but wouldn't fit in the new one.  They reduced the dimensions! Then after using it several times it never seemed to get up to temperature. I knew what worked before for well-worn recipes but had to set temp to 40% greater to get the right actual temp. Sent it back and got the Toshiba AC25CEW instead - costing $76 instead of the Black & Decker at $40. Learned the lesson again that lowest price is not necessarily best value. I initially didn't like the electronic controls but quickly got acclimated, now I wouldn't like the old-style dials on the B&D.  My only minor complaint is that the door won't open full 90%. I don't have the oven on a countertop but at eye level instead. If it opened farther it would be easier to get stuff in/out.

This is a great Toaster Oven, it's easy to use, cooks evenly and cleans up well. It's not huge and looks good in my kitchen. I've cooked a variety of foods in it and they all came out very well. It has three separate dials in front, one for function, temp and time. It is well made!

This oven is a replacement for my old Kenmore, whose knobs had broken off. I like that it is not too big for the counter that I have, seems to cook evenly, and is relatively quiet in operation. About the noise factor, the on-off button emits a piercing BEEP just like a single blast from a smoke alarm. I brace myself for this, and back away when I push it. The convection fan is a background noise that I cannot hear when the fridge is running. Once the oven gets up to temperature it makes a click-then-clack noise which I guess is a relay turning the elements on and off, not obnoxious, just lets me know it is working. The temperature knob has a place when turning where it kind of sticks, the crumb tray was warped but was easy to bend into shape. Overall I am pleased with it, very versatile in operation, roomy, mostly quiet. I wish I could get an extra rack for it, but it is a 13 inch rack, not standard. On the plus side it you measure carefully you can find a quarter sheet pan that will slide into the rack slots. The baking pan that comes with it seems to be some kind of anodized nonstick, it cleans up easily. What I would wish for in the future is an oven light, I am always peering into it with a flashlight to check the browning. If this oven hangs in there for the long run I will be happy, I think I got a lot for the money.

When it's on, or even just plugged in, one can hear a high pitched squeal. When it's baking, the sound pulsates with the cycling of the heating unit. When it's simply plugged in, it is a quiet, constant sound. It's strange, as this is the second toaster oven I've received from different manufacturers that does this. Not sure why, but cheaper electronics may be to blame. Otherwise, it works well. Um, actually not. See update **update nov 20. Noticed now that it runs hot for baking and burns baked goods if you’re not careful. Have to cook on lower temp.

LOVE this toaster oven. Our Breville toaster oven died and I was looking for a less expensive replacement option. Tried another brand (Mueller) but returned it - didn't fit the bill for me. The photo shows the Toshiba next to the Mueller Toaster Oven (which I returned). I've had this Toshiba for over 2 months now and it is as good, if not better than my old Breville. Love the digital interface. It remembers your last setting. The first setting is Toast. I set how dark I want my toast, the number of slices, and push the button. It sets the temp and time and beeps when done. Perfect toast, English Muffins, every time. The Mueller uses a turn timer which was never accurate. It is nice in the morning to pop some bread or English Muffin in the toaster and push a button... easy! I use the Convection setting (the bottom setting in the menu) for reheating pizza and other food. Using the middle rack, I set time to 5 minutes, temp to 400, push the button, and voila... perfectly reheated pizza. It is large enough to cook an 8"-9" pizza. It has a Pizza setting but I just use the Convection setting, set to 12 minutes @ 400. Perfect pizza! Last night I cooked a pan full of Orange Chicken pieces (frozen from Costco). Same setting as I use for pizza. I turned the pieces halfway through. Came out better than when I use my air-frier - the same amount of time. The bottom crumb tray slides out for easy cleaning. For some foods, I pre-heat for a minute or two before putting my food in. I just set the timer to 2 minutes longer. But in most cases, it gets hot enough, fast enough, that you do not need to pre-heat. The 4 heating elements (two on top, two on bottom) are not ceramic and are not covered, but so far, seem to get hot quickly and no food has dripped onto them. Ceramic element's main advantage is they get hot quicker - but in a toaster oven of this size, you are only talking about a 10-15 seconds difference. This is big enough for most meals for two people. Easily fits casserole dishes or 9" pan. It comes with a separate handy handle to pull the grate out. If you pull the grate too far out, it tends to drop down in the front which can cause food on the grate to slide off. Just be careful. The handle has latches that allow you to pull the grate all the out and even carry it to a cutting board or wherever. I got the black stainless model. It looks very nice, high quality. A nice addition to any kitchen. So far I love this toaster oven and am so glad I didn't spend $250 on a new Breville. The Breville may be slightly higher quality but for the money, you can't go wrong with this Toshiba.

I imagine people use toaster ovens for repetitive tasks like making breakfast or something easy like that. Every time you use it, you have to configure the settings in order to get the desired effect you want. Lightly toast a single bagel every morning? Too bad, it is set to cook four pieces of bread to a certain level of toast by default. So, you have to go through all the adjustments every single time you use it. Surely something connected to a wall outlet 24/7 could have some type of memory. Lame. Other than that, pretty versatile toaster.

This thing is incomprehensible. We’ve had it for months and I STILL fail to set it correctly more often than not. It’s not as easy to program as it ought to be and it has the loudest, most obnoxious beeping of any toaster oven I have ever encountered. In general, it cooks alright though if you like your toast dark, buy a different toaster oven. Period. The size is great for 6 pieces of toast and average sized frozen pizzas. Solidly ok. If it died tomorrow though, I would not be angry — just pleased to get a different toaster oven.

Ordered this and it arrived two days later - so far so good. When I opened it, I saw that one of the feet was broken. Rather than send it back I called Toshiba customer service and was told they didn't have any replacement parts for this. I asked that it be placed on back-order and was told it might be back in stock sometime in December (2-1/2 months later.) This seems a bit shaky for such a large and successful company.

We use this daily and it is really great for everything. The GUI is nice and we are glad that it turns off when it is not in use. One minor flaw is that the crumb tray does not slide out. You must open the oven and lift it out. This allows some crumbs to get into the oven. I have to use a rag and sometimes canned air to get the crumbs out. Not a deal-breaker but the last oven we had featured an easy to slide out tray that got all the crumbs.

I was excited to get this multifunction toaster oven, and it works really nicely as a toaster oven. But it is truly galling that it does not include a grease tray to gather the drippings from the rotisserie (as is pictured in the photos of the item being used to rotisserie chicken). This amounts to false advertising. The manual says you should use the baking tray for this purpose, which you would set on the baking rack, which would raise the combination too close to the rotisserie to cook anything but a narrow shishkabob--certainly not a chicken. If you wanted to use just the baking tray, it would have to sit on the heating elements--which would be dangerous. The crumb catcher has no sides and so would not contain the grease, and according to the manual, you cannot use tin foil in the unit. I called Toshiba to ask about this, and the rep, Jose, kept apologizing and explaining over and over again what I already knew: the grease tray is not included. Would Toshiba be producing one to make the advertised function usable? He suggested I search online for an answer or return the item for a refund. I suggested he forward my question to someone at Toshiba who could answer it. The item was advertised as a rotisserie but won't work as advertised. This is FALSE ADVERTISING. I will update if I hear back from a Toshiba rep. Very disappointed.

I ordered this to use instead of heating up the large oven to save time and energy. I thought it would be good for small items that didn’t take long to cook. However, this oven has replaced my large oven. It heats up fast and cooks evenly. It has a rotisserie feature that is great, but you have to be mindful of the size of the items that you are going to cook on this setting. Overall, this is a great product that my entire family loves to use.

We wanted to replace our old Kitchen Aid toaster oven, which was attractive but we never really loved it. It was very inconsistent when toasting/baking and I didn't like the rack positioning and how the rack slid out too easily when you didn't want it to. I debated over what to get next, looking at several options and reading all the reviews. I settled on this Toshiba and have been very pleased with it. It's attractive and a great size. It's very versatile and even allows you to tell it how many pieces of bread you are toasting so everything is toasted evenly. It's big enough to toast 6 slices at once. The pizza option is great too. Our Kitchen Aid didn't have that. We have yet to try all the options (cookies, rotisserie). Since it's doing such a great job, I should take advantage of its other features! I like how it looks substantial and more like an appliance than a breadbox. The stainless steel ties in nicely with our other kitchen appliances and fixtures. They one thing I wish it had, that our Kitchen Aid toaster oven had, is a crumb tray you can pull straight out from the outside/front. You can remove the Toshiba's tray, but you have to reach inside to do so. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

The oven heats up too slowly. My previous oven bakes the biscuits in 10 minutes, but this oven takes about 20 minutes to bake. The preheating time is too long each time. If you use it in the morning to bake bread For the film, I believe you will know when you work. Its temperature is okay, but the heating time is too long. It may be the reason for the different materials of the heating tube and the heating is too slow.

We had been using a Cuisinart the last 3 toaster ovens. They last about 6 years. I thought, well, they don't care enough about the consumer to last longer, maybe I can find another brand that ALSO will only last 6 years, is just as good, but costs much less. I've had this unit a month and so far am happy with it. Three minor complaints: The crumb tray that goes under the lower heating elements is so thin that it buckles from the heat (or even without heat), but that doesn't seem to affect functionality. Then, the grate shelf doesn't have anything keeping it from pulling all the way out inadvertently (as pointed out in other reviews). Finally, it has no broiling tray to sit on top of the pan. But, end of the say, I would still buy this over the Cuisinart, given the big price difference.

I got this because I do not have air and it is just my 18 year old daughter and I at home. So we didn't want to have to turn the big oven on when we cook. It was by far one of the best things I have purchased. It is built well and is fairly easy to clean. I have gotten some extra baking pans for it and have learned to cook so much stuff in it. It looks nice and is easy to use and learn to use. I did purchase the non stick adhesive for the bottom so it would wipe out easier. But it works great and we love it. Great value for the money

I don't normally write reviews for the stuff I buy. However this one was so good that I wanted to help other people who are as confused as I was in looking for a new toaster. I was torn between this toaster and some more expensive models when looking to upgrade from my old toaster that took too long to toast (6-8 minutes). I decided to take a chance on this one and it is perfect. Super simple to use. Makes perfectly browned toast in about 4 minutes and produces the most evenly cooked toast I have seen. If you like toast, buy this product.

This is the first little oven I have used that has a more or less consistent cook all around. The features are convenient, I love the backlit screen and it doesn't get as hot as you might think on the outside. Its smaller than my old one that had the same space inside, so it was nice since our kitchen is smaller. It fits Aldi's standard round pizzas, which is a must in our household. If you are on the fence about getting one of these I recommend it. Better than any I've used, compact for its capacity and very generously priced.

I like this toaster oven. It allows for the versatility a toaster oven should provide. I can toast my bread in the mornings but I have also used it to bake easy bake oven mixes with my child. This model can do more than my previous toaster ovens could so I‘m learning regularly that there is something else I can do in this toaster oven to avoid using my big oven.

Oven works great. I would make two improvements: 1, it needs a more powerful fan to work as an air fryer. 2, there is no way to turn off the top element. When you are baking, this causes the top of the cake to get overdone, or burn. Otherwise I am very happy with the unit.

I’m so happy with this toaster. This might be because I had a very crappy one before this. It actually is a great toaster oven. Love the versatility. The convection feature works great. I roasted veggies and it worked right away. The tray was easy to clean. There is also another tray kept on the bottom to dump any crumbs. That is also very easy to clean if you get any cheese drips on it.

I just recieved this Toshiba convection toaster oven 3 days ago, and upon plugging it in & turning it on to cook a 12" pizza, I noticed a slight hum while cooking. Being very mechanically skilled, I recognized this hum as one similar to an electric motor being 'stuck' and not turning. I finished the 9 min cooking process, removed the pizza & rack, and turned the oven on to pizza mode again and felt no air at all coming from the vent/circulation holes on the right hand interior. I then turned the oven on to full convection oven settings and while shining a flashlight thru the slots in the right side housing, I could see that the convection fan motor only 'nudged' a bit when turning on, but would not turn. Even throughout the entire "up to operating temp" range. I doubt that even 5% of the purchasers even check to see if this fan is working or not. I sent the oven back for a refund yesterday, as this alone left me with serious doubts of the reliability & longevity of the unit, as I could see the motor(s) were some of the cheapest types ever made. I had no issues with temp settings, as mine were in 10° intervals. I see other ppl getting so unjustifiably upset they can't set it at *exactly* 375 or other specific settings. ALL oven thermostats are not that precise & all have a "spread" of when they turn the elements on, or off. Oftentimes, a 20° plus/minus range or thereabouts. That is normal. Don't be so anal over a "precise" temp, as it's 'control' is largely overblown & misunderstood. No oven will stay at an actual specific temp. None. You're fooling yourself if you think so.

I can't review any of the other features of this oven, which is why I gave it a couple stars, but the beeping when you push the buttons is so loud! There is no way to turn it off or down. I was upgrading from an inexpensive non-digital toaster oven so didn't anticipate this aversive feature. Yikes

I replaced another toaster oven with this and had thought from the dimensions that it would be about the same size as my older, much cheaper analog oven. It turns out it is quite a bit smaller. My other complaint is that it comes with only one shelf, where as many like this come with two. But that is an oversight on my part. The biggest issue is that it has the same number of knobs as an analog toaster but being digital, it must be set every single time. There's no leaving it to a particular setting that you use the most. There's just a LOT more overhead in turning it on. Might not seem like much but after hundreds of uses it stacks up. I have kept it but I wouldn't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. But an analog model for a lot less and you will probably be happier, unless you just like lights and readouts more than convenience and cost.

Overall, it's OK, faster for reheating or cooking those small frozen pizzas than regular oven. Removable tray on bottom has a design flaw in that if there are any drippings, you cannot remove the drip tray without spillage. The Pan provided is not as large as indicated on some videos and instructions. It does not reach side to side so it is not effective as a drip pan for rotisserie (as indicated in instructions & video). Unfortunately, it also only comes with a single rack. We will make use of it for now, but really wish I had purchased the larger Oster.

The user manual is skimpy and I’m not sure how to operate the oven. The Before First Use section stops mid sentence and isn’t continued on the next page, leaving you guessing what to do to complete this important step. It tells you to insert the baking rack “properly” but doesn’t tell you which end belongs in the front, and yes, the ends have a different shape. I’ve looked online for a more detailed set of instructions—there aren’t any. After listing 26 safety steps to follow, you’d think they’d provide enough information to make sure you could operate it safely. It makes me nervous—I really don’t like winging it with something that could burn the house down.

I have only seen one other person with this write-up. Manual says the temp range is to 450 in both broil and rotisserie but mine only goes to 350. Do I have a defective product, am I doing something wrong, or is the manual wrong? Anybody run into this problem? Otherwise it seems like a good unit.

I was looking into one of those air fryers which cost almost 300 or more till I read about the difference between air fryer and convection oven. Almost none, bigger fan or more air circulation. That's all. So I saved myself couple hundred dollars by buying this oven. I replaced an older countertop oven with this one and I like everything about it. It stops cooking when the timer runs out, which the previous oven did not, it just kept beeping and if I wasn't in the kitchen or forgot about it, it would burn the chicken, pizza. Three simple knobs, control conditions perfectly. So far no problems or short comings. Highly recomended.

First and foremost, this toaster oven has a fantastic price for the features and overall build quality. There is virtually no competitive product at this price point that offers what this unit does. Going beyond that, many toaster ovens twice the price lack some of the features this toaster oven checks off. Really impressive. It comes with a bunch of accessories and looks great on my counter-top. It is honestly borderline perfect for the price. For these reasons, I'm really disappointed that I have to return it. Especially since I'm going to have to spend more money. All thanks to coil whine. Mine whined the moment it was plugged in and it's too much of a hassle to plug and unplug before and after each use. It's one thing to whine when it's in use but whining when plugged in and idle is maddening. I know that they had to cut corners somewhere to price this product so aggressively but I would pay more for a better power supply in this unit considering how good it is. Really bummed to return it.

The toaster oven works great I really like it unfortunately the crumb tray is not designed well, all other toaster ovens that I have owned the crumb tray was made to slide in an out from the outside, on this toaster oven you have to maneuver to insert and remove the tray from inside being careful not to hit the heating elements. It’s also not quite big enough so the crumbs fall outside of the tray and in the toaster which then needs to be cleaned out.

Not as big inside as desired, hard to use and jumps in 10degree increments so you can't use 425 or 325 but 320 or 330; etc. Very uneven heat as well. Hot in back but cooler in front.

If I had known using a toaster all along was this practical and easy, I would never have bothered with an oven! I moved into a place with no oven, and knew that I would need a great toaster that could fit a pizza inside. And what I got is like a mini-oven that does everything faster and easier with less energy. Highly recommend this product. I've had it for several months and use it often with no issues. I cook fish, roast veggies, make pizza and bagels....I can even bake a cake with a square pan. Don't miss the big oven at all!

My big toaster OD'd so I thought I'd give a toaster oven a try. After reading all the reviews, I chose this Toshiba model. Have had it about 2 months, and so far I really like it. I'm still trying it for various things. It takes longer to toast bread but you can put in 4-6 slices at once. I baked some zucchini bread in it and learned that it I should've reduced the temp, as the toaster oven is so much smaller that a stove oven that it heats more rapidly and evenly. Did some home fries in it, which worked very well. Did pizza in it on the pizza setting and that was great. Very easy to operate. Doesn't heat the whole kitchen. Less power means lower cost to operate. I really like it.

The instructions could be a little more clear, but other than that, this goes far above what I expected. I am a single older woman, and hate the idea of turning on an over to make a casserole for one. Or broiling a single piece of fish. I've made a mini cheese cake, mini pizza, and small pound cake. I didn't bake them quite as long as I would have in my regular oven. You'll figure it out. It gets HOT quickly. I also bought the smaller set of baking items which contained a cupcake pan, muffin tin, and sheet pan, from Amazon. Then at Walmart, I found a 6"cheesecake pan, and aini muffin pan. As a senior, I am more than pleased with this versatile appliance.

I liked the way it cooks, the heat seems to flow evenly throughout the oven on convection setting. It's also pretty quiet on convection setting, I couldn't really hear it more than 15 feet away. The top gets extremely hot though, hot enough to warp plastic containers that were sitting on a shelf 6 inches above the oven. I've had toaster ovens before and know they get pretty warm on the outside, but I considered this to be too hot. If you're using it with nothing above and don't plan to place anything on the oven while it's cooking it'll be fine.

The first thing I did was use the rotisserie and it worked perfect. My chicken was like 5.25lbs and it fit well. Be sure to tie the bird so it doesn't flop around as it spins, and FYI, only the top coils heat during rotisserie. We have an electric oven and haven't used it since we got this. I made a frozen pizza, fit perfectly. I'm actually very impressed. Cooking times appear to be more accurate compared to the big oven, but that may just be a 'toaster thing'.

I use my oven for everything. From toast to pork chops. This oven does it all and is super easy to work. Finally my toast is not burnt and my dinner is heated at the right temp. The timer function is excellent. I don't plan on using a rotisserie. Cleaning is about the same as all ovens. I do empty the crumb tray often and clean the oven door each day with a slightly damn cloth. A great buy !!

I bought this to replace an 8 year old Hamilton Beach toaster oven that was no longer heating up to the proper temperatures after years of good service. This toaster oven was cheaper and had just as many features like convection and the rotisserie, but in addition, it also has a digital read out. Pro's: It let's you know when it reaches the set temperature. The digital timer allows you to see exactly how much time is left. It takes up less counter space than other toaster ovens that are large enough for a 12 inch pizza. It's easy to clean. The crumb tray easily comes out. It has lots of nice features. It ships with all the accessories you need to enjoy all the features. Cons: Because it is smaller it ships with just one baking rack, however, I rarely used 2 racks at one time with previous toaster ovens. This isn't really a con, but because my old toaster oven didn't heat up like it used to I now find I have to adjust previous cook times because this one does heat up to the correct temperatures.

This is a very nice oven. Sturdy. Efficient. HOWEVER, the manual and the video instruct the user to remove the oven rack and insert a drip pan when using the rotisserie function. The manufacturer now claims that there is no drip pan. This renders the rotisserie function unusable. The baking pan included with the oven is almost 2 inches short of fitting in the oven grooves. There is no option to insert a drip pan. Very disappointing. They must amend their video and manual as this could be construed as false advertising. Caveat Emptor!

Our old toaster oven died....it became, well....TOAST! I don't know how old it was but it was made before the digital age. And I did not realize how archaic it was until we received this Toshiba AC25CEW-BS Digital Toaster Oven with Convection cooking and 9 functions. Man, this baby is dope! It does so many things I won't be able to type all of them here (my hands might become toast) but I can tell you that the digital display is really cool. It is easy to use and the features allow it to become many different appliances in one. The cooking is precise. Very precise. I highly recommend this toaster oven....although, it is way more than a toaster oven. It should be called the Kitchen Chameleon.

Before I bought this model, I read many reviews. As with any product, everyone has their own experience and comments. I have broiled steaks, baked a pizza, toasted bread, and baked some rolls. I thought it worked great with the steaks and pizza but I wouldn't use it to toast bread or bake rolls. My toaster works great so I'll just keep using that, and I thought it was faster. For baking rolls, I'll either adjust the temperature or put it on the lowest rack. I followed the directions and but the temperature suggested but the rolls darkened too quickly before the inside was fully baked. However, it is great to use, especially when it's 117 outside. I would rather cook with the toaster oven than to put on the big oven and add more heat to the house.

Our old toaster oven was a piece of garbage from the day we bought it. It took forever to toast anything and the heating was never even. Forget using it for real cooking. We were going to buy one of the high end toaster ovens that would have run us a couple of hundred dollars and then I came across this little gem. It toasts my morning bagel perfectly every time. It is great for reheating a couple of slices of pizza and I even baked fresh croissants in it. They came out perfectly. There is one downside, especially for us in the geezer class who need glasses to read anything. The front panel labeling is far too small. The first time I used it, I spent fifteen minutes search for my reading glasses, which of course were hanging around my neck. One I found them, the rest of the experience was lovely. That said, do read the instructions. This isn't your grandmother's toaster. Overall, great purchase.

This oven is very nice looking and compliments other stainless steel appliances in my kitchen very well. There must be some type of heating malfunction with this oven because even at low temperatures and low times it burns foods. It toasts very well but you have to watch it. When I 1st got the oven it seemed like even when I set it at 150 degrees for 3 minutes it would burn my bread. But now it seems like it is stabilizing and starting to cook at the temperatures you set it to. I am going to give this oven 4 stars because it smokes when cooking meats and leaves smoke stains on the stainless. Other than that I love this oven and use it every day.

I had compared over 10 Toaster/Convection ovens before deciding to purchase this Toshiba. My husband and I absolutely made the right choice. We have used it everyday since we got it - now that warmer weather is here, it doesn't heat up the kitchen like an regular oven would, the convection cooks frozen goods in 1/2 the time! Overall it looks and feels good. Rotisserie slots are relatively easy to use (compared to some other brand). BUT: it does NOT give an option to set temperature to 450 it roasting mode as stands in manual from TOSHIBA website!!! (see pics and original manual bei toshiba-lifestyle dot com I bought this oven for roasting coffee and particularly THIS model because it promised 450 in ROTISSERIE mode, but against the listed in manual specs it does NOT allow to set temperature to 450! Only up to 350! which is a HUGE difference! I am asking myself - did I got defective unit? Or is it jet another company not keeping promises?

This is my first toaster oven and I love it! It does get hot as hell on the outside and if you're not careful you will burn yourself. (It is a miniature oven with a thin glass door) I like that the display goes off when it's not in use and you can just leave it plugged in. You can also change the cook time or temp while cooking. I was nervous to go with a more expensive unit and felt more comfortable starting at this price range, but will probably upgrade to a better unit in the future.

While I wondered about the 4 yr old toaster oven that was worn out & not working as designed, I ran across this oven which is a good price in comparison to other ovens being sold. It's fine overall but the thing is huge! It takes up a lot of space on the counter. Of course, it's my fault for not reading the dimensions. If it didn't seem like such a hassle I'd probably send it back. But as for a review of features: It has a very loud beep when finished. It has a nice display which is fairly intuitive. The temp seems to only rise and lower in 10 degree increments (can't do 425), which is just weird. I've only had it about a week so haven't used it much but did a nice job with my "chicken" nuggets. They came out nice and crunchy.

This is a very simple to use non-computerized Toaster with a convection fan. It also comes with a removable crumb tray as well as a small baking dish to cook items like frozen foods. This is the second time I have purchased this specific model as my last toaster was still working well, however it had accumulated years of gunk and simply looked awful. Mechanically it was fine. I expect this to last many years. Also, the first time of use you may get an off putting burning type smell. It dissipates after one or two uses. I would have preferred the item shipped in a non descriptive box like a brown amazon box. It came in the manufacturers box only.

Oven is fine, looks good, and is a good size. Like all new toaster ovens they cook things faster the first few months but then settle in. But something we can’t stand is that the wire rack falls out way to easily. If you pull it out less then half way to turn over food the rack will slide right out or your food will slip off. It looks like the slots to hold the rack are too wide which allows the rack to tilt down. I honestly wouldn’t buy again for this very reason.

I love this toaster oven! After more than 5 years of searching for a good quality toaster oven both in stores and online, and being continually disappointed by how tinny and cheaply made most of them seemed to be even at 3 times the cost of this Toshiba, I'd spotted this one on Amazon and decided in desperation to take a chance on it due to the many good reviews it already had. I've not regretted that impulse for as much as a moment, and have thoroughly enjoyed using this toaster oven. It looks great on my counter, is more sturdy than any toaster ovens I had looked at in stores for MANY years, and works great! Since I already had both a built-in Wolf convection wall oven and a built-in Wolf convection microwave oven, I hadn't cared whether the toaster oven had a convection feature or not, but am now glad it did, because I use that feature a great deal more often than I'd ever thought I would. As with most toaster ovens, the exterior of this one does get hot, but not frightenly so. I'd purchased a black silicone 9x12" mat from Amazon to place on the top of it to diffuse some of the heat from rising to the cabinets above, but mainly so I could place a couple of extra toaster oven pans on it when the oven was in use--when not in use, I store the clean nested pans in the toaster oven. (Amazon has some great options available for extra stainless steel toaster oven pans, and a 12x10x1" is a bit larger than the standard pans for this size toaster oven, but fits it perfectly.) I'd read one review by someone who'd returned their oven because the display sometimes fogged a little with steam when the convection feature was used. It does do that slightly, but the display remains clear enough to see even when it does, it also clears up again as soon as the oven cools, and has not negatively affected the operation of the oven whatsoever in the 2 years that I've been using mine. I truly love this toaster oven! This Toshiba actually surpasses the former great toaster oven it had taken me years to find this replacement for, since the design of it, especially the sturdy base of it, is far superior to the old one I'd had for more than 20 years. That one had been a quality toaster oven also, and had still been working like a champ, but it's one design flaw had been that one of the legs on it had broken, and I'd grown tired of crazy gluing it back on every few months or so, yet couldn't find any new ones in stores that had been nearly as good as my old one--until finding this Toshiba! This Toshiba actually exceeded my expectations in every way, and I have been delighted with it since the very moment of taking it out of the box, because the quality and design of it had not only surpassed the much favored old toaster oven I'd liked so well, but also the design and quality of the many, many others I had looked at in all sorts of stores over the years, too. I'd expected I'd likely have to resign myself to settling for a toaster oven somewhat inferior to the one I had enjoyed using for many years, so opening the box to discover that this Toshiba was vastly superior to any others I had seen was a nearly transcendent experience. If you've suffered through trying to replace any good quality small kitchen appliance in the past decade or so, you'll certainly understand what I mean. All too often one has to end up settling for appliances that are more cheaply made, cease to work after only a few months, or don't work at all right out of the box! I'll be keeping the Toshiba brand in mind when making any future purchases, because I could not have been more pleased with the purchase of this toaster oven!

We used other different brand ovens in the past and we like this one the most. The other brand's heating elements bent like spaghetti after several months use but this one the heating elements are made to heat up where it should be (the other ones heat up wall to wall and when the heating elements become hot they expand and that caused bending).

The good: Convection feature works really well. And really fast. Put some huge chicken breasts in, were done in half the time I am accustomed to. Dials have a physical touch which is better than a press pad. Size is perfect for myself and wife. The not so good: The top two elements are spaced to far apart, making the broil function not work well. When I broiled two man size steaks , they did not get that nice searing I would have liked. Maybe my technique, will try again and update. While broiling, heat and steam get into the display making it difficult to read. This is my 3rd toaster oven I've had, and the best. I do like it so far.

First thing out of the box is yes, this is a beautiful stainless steel microwave, however, the top, sides and feet are shiny black. Just make sure it'll fit with the rest of your appliances before you hit purchase. I quite like the look.

With that caveat out of the way, I love this oven so far. It is high quality construction, slick and simple controls, digital readouts with 10 presets, convection being one of them, AND a rotisserie! It's quiet, doesn't seem to give off a lot of heat, and seems quite accurate temperature-wise.

I love the feel of the knobs, better than any appliance I've ever had!

This toaster oven is just what I was looking for. The black stainless steel to match with the rest of my kitchen appliances, the modern/contemporary look and the price. I love the many options for whatever you need to bake, warm or toast. What I love the most is that you can choose how brown you want your food to be and the option for how many slices. If you are looking for a toaster oven, this is the one to go with.

For any toaster oven at the same price, this looks a lot better on your countertop and the menu display and control dials are a lot simpler to use than with competitor products. That aside, there are two details that make owning this a bit annoying: 1. It makes a low volume, high pitched beep that forces me to unplug the toaster oven when not in use. 2. When using the bake setting, the volume changes in odd-numbered increments of 20 degrees. I can't bake anything at 400 degrees. I have to either use 390 degrees or 410 degrees.

Made a high pitched beeping noise constantly that was a deal breaker. Also, 20° min. change ie. 310- 330.... No 315-325... Rotisserie max 350°- the signal beep is jarring. I returned it. However- aesthetically pleasing, and the rotisserie function was good.

First let me say that I do enjoy putting in a 9"-12" frozen pizza into this oven and be eating in a matter of ten minutes. But, unless something is really perfect, it will not get five stars from me. The interior of this toaster-oven is reminiscent of the interior of any toaster-oven at any price, no matter how cheap it is. I suggest you slide out the crumb catcher and put a layer of tin foil on it, because if you make pizza, it will catch molten cheese. I purchased this unit because it looked more... more... more.. sophisticated than it really is. It has a little liquid crystal display, that when it goes bad will render this model useless. the Black Stainless Steel looks nice, my wife grills asparagus in it, eggplants, red peppers, and of course you can toast bread in all its forms. So hey, 4 starts until it breaks, and then no stars. If you can buy this with Amex points, even better.

Love this toaster oven and I love the sleek design. I tested it out with bagels and bred and mini pizzas and it's perfect. It Cooks perfectly. I don't need a toaster or even a microwave really. This thing does the job when I need to reheat something.

In all aspects I really like this oven except the fact that you are limited on temperature selection. When adjusting the temperature it jumps 20*, for instance you can not bake at 400* as the selections are either 390 or 410. Other than that it has been a good purchase. Had I known about the temperature issue I would have probably kept looking for a different oven.

Very nice and it looks/feels well made. The display is very easy to use. It's described as "Black Stainless" but it is not black, it's dark gray in color. I have stainless appliances and it looks great next to them. I finally realized it makes no sense to buy a cheap toaster oven, only to replace it in 3 years, and I'm glad I found this one. You won't find a nicer toaster oven for the price.

This toaster oven honestly has to be the best toaster oven I’ve purchased for the money. The build quality overall is above and beyond...it feels like a more expensive kitchen alliance. The door opens and shuts nicely, as well as the racks fit perfectly. It is so easy to use with the digital screen and simple turn knob layouts. It comes with everything you need, even something to pull out the cooking rack and tray together. It doesn’t loose a lot of heat and the areas that do get warm or hot aren’t blistering immediatskh like some ovens. I hope to enjoy this oven for many years to come!

Love it. Convention is almost silent. Toast is perfect. Reheating anything is so much better than the microwave. Pizza's comes out awesome. So happy with this oven.

This is a pretty good toaster oven. Overall I like it. The problem I have is with the controls. First off, it all resets to default settings after you have used it. Second, the two bottom control knobs (time & temp) are backwards in my opinion. The time display is above the temperature display but the knobs are reversed. That makes no sense to me. Plus you can't always select the correct temperature for certain things. It has presets at certain points. Other that that it is a good toaster. It preheats quickly, the display is easy to read and I do like it pretty well.

I've only used this three times since purchasing it a little over a week ago, but works much faster and better than my previous toaster oven. I've only used the 'convection' setting (which is my preferred cooking method), but found the oven heated up quickly and everything I've cooked so far in it cooked evenly, to the doneness anticipated, and within the expected timeframe. I opted for this brand and model because, in reading the owners manuals on a few other convection toaster ovens, they warned against using the ovens beneath cabinets (due to danger of starting a fire due to heat being generated during use) and also cautioned about potential BURNS if making physical contact with the oven exterior. I've found this exterior does get pretty warm, but so far (even when cooking at 400 deg F) it hasn't been nearly hot enough to burn anyone if physically touching it (excepting the glass door, of course -- on which I did not experiment) and unlike the others, there is no warning given about potential for burns if touched. However, the manual DOES say to keep the oven at least 5-6 inches away from any other flammable materials such as cabinets, towels, drywall, etc. If you're searching for a convection toaster/oven, I would suggest you search online for the manufacturer's manual and review it for precautions or other important details before making your final decision. Good luck, and may your meals be fabulous!

I gave it to my wife last December 2019, and we're very happy with it. So much so that we have stopped using the microwave oven, the meals prepared here are healthier and we have already recommended it to more relatives.

So far the Toshiba is great: it toasts as I input, heats and reheats effectively with the convection oven. And it looks classy; proud to have it on the counter. Particularly enjoy the clear display. Comes with an accessory kit, including a rotisserie set-up. May or may not use it. The core appliance appears well constructed and designed by engineers who drink good coffee, are alert and put a lot of thought into the design. The settings permit me to break apart a pita bread and toast the separated sides without burning them. That's a first.

For the price, the features make this a bargain if it holds up. I only use bake, boil and convection features. Convection operation works very well and is quiet. Digital controls are logical and easy to use. Stainless steel inside and out makes it easy to keep clean. So far, very happy with it.
