Whirlpool (WH43S1E) 4.3 Cu Ft Mini Fridge Reviews

Bought this almost a month ago and so far it's been what I needed. It sits in my room with me in a place where I have some roommates, it allows me to keep certain things separate from the main fridge and also allows me to grab a drink without needing to leave my room. It's just been an overall good experience, to top it off it has a small freezer space for ice cube if i need them or a small amount of food.

LOVE THE FRIDGE BUT HAS TWO PUNCTURE DENTS IN DOOR, WHICH ARE VISIBLE ALSO ON CARTON FRONT.

We love our new fridge. Plenty of room for drinks and just enough freezer space to make ice. Great addition to our basement.

I've owned this fridge for about 5 months now. I must say, it's a great medium/small sized fridge. This is the largest, small fridge I could find. It's similar to what you would find in a hotel room. I use it in my shop which has a room temp above 80 degrees a lot. It keeps everything very cold. I haven't had to defrost it yet. It is also very quiet. I would think this would also be a good choice for a dorm room or similar.

I bought this fridge to go in my semi and it is the best thing i have bought a little big but it holds a lot of food and drinks

Needed a small unit for added holiday and party storage and this is just perfect! Also great for keeping medication that must be refrigeratedone but was using so much space in our regular fridge. Smartest purchase we've ever made!

After about one month of use, I can give this fridge a solid 4-star review. Two real pluses are the light and the quiet compressor (great for dorm room). The refrigerator interior get quite cold enough (down to 25 deg. F at max setting, no food). The design of the bottom shelf (actually a half-shelf) is disappointing in that a gallon jug will not fit without moving (or removing) that shelf. The freezer compartment does not get that cold even at maximum setting. The latter two items take one star from an otherwise good mini fridge. Durability to be determined.

Personally, I think this is a fine machine, I primarily keep in the garage with soft drinks that I give to our delivery people. (UPS, Fed Ex, USPS) I know that on a hot day a Gatorade is welcomed

I am on a special food allergy diet and needed a reliable refrigerator. This one works extremely well. I bought a refrigerator thermometer from the local WalMart store and, using this thermometer, I can adjust the inside temperature to about plus 1.5 degrees C., which does not freeze the food but keeps produce fresh for up to two weeks. The inside temperature seems to be sensitive to the room temperature; I had to experiment a bit, and if I turn down the room temperature at night, I have to make certain that the inside temperature of the refrigerator does not go below the freezing point (zero degrees C.). My overall health has improved enormously on my special diet, and this refrigerator is extremely important to me.

The Whirlpool 4.3 cu.ft. compact freezer is a replacement for our Danby 3.1 which we purchased at Walmart in Penticton, BC, 5 years ago. So far it is working good and we are hopeful that we will get the same or more years out of it. Would, however, like it better if we could return the old fridge to Walmart for recycle instead of having to figure out how to deal with it ourselves.
