I love our new microwave. I have always wanted one over the stove but did not have the space for a conventional microwave. My husband's favorite feature is the tone for when the cycle is finished cooking. The fan settings are a great feature and powerful as the light settings. My only disappointment is the panels on the side are difficult to clean and seemed to be made of flimsy material. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this a month and a half ago, and I love how it fit in the narrow space above my range. No other microwave could've fit in there. I just wish it was able to vent through the top middle up through my exhaust that leads outside. Instead, it only vents through the top edge (which is why it has to stick out past the upper cabinets). Hope they come up with a design that is flush with the cabinets and that vents to the outdoors. Also, when I use the buttons inside the door to program a cook time, the microwave makes a louder noise when it starts up. I may call on this just to make sure it's normal. Otherwise, it works great and warms my food thoroughly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We purchased this low profile microwave although there was nothing wrong with the older one we had. There is a 6 inch difference in total height of the microwaves, giving you that much more to the top of our glass cooktop. The depth of this microwave makes up for it and honestly you can't tell that it's deeper looking at the front. My wife loves it. Although a little loud when starting it works well. I love this ml microwave! It's small size worried me a bit but those fears have subsided. This microwave is very aesthetically pleasing but powerful and easily fits everything I need warmed up. The vent is also quite powerful. My only complaint is the light underneath. It's not as bright as I had hoped but we have good lighting so it's fine. My family isn't the tallest, so reaching over a stove to retrieve microwaved items were always a pain. A month ago, we looked into this slim profile to find that the door is about 4 inches further away from the wall than a standard microwave, which was a huge plus for us. One further benefit is the light under the microwave actually shines on the front of the stove! Additionally, we appreciate being able to have more clearance above the range for taller pots. There is no handle, so you must rely on power and technology to open the door. The tallest item we heat up is a syrup bottle, which requires we remove the lid, but such a little inconvenience when you look at all the convenient features! We finally got our microwave installed about a month ago and I love it! Previously I had a microwave on my counter. I always wanted one over the stove but the kitchen cabinets were too low. This microwave solved our problem! There's plenty of space inside but it is not as tall. The controls are inside so it looks so nice. It has 3 fan settings and 2 led light settings, which I really like. All of the presettings that I've tried work perfectly. It also has such a pleasant tone when it has completed its task. Thank you whirlpool for being the smart one to make a microwave that is shorter and so intuitive. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I got this microwave because I needed more room above my stove. All of my casserole dishes fit with no problem, and I love all of the controls. The microwave is a beautiful addition to my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier! Love, love, love this microwave! Just look at the before and after

PART 1--We are doing only a partial remodel of our kitchen, and replacing the perfectly good cabinets were not part of the plan. However, we wanted to move the microwave off the counter to over the stove. Our existing cabinet was too low creating a dilemma--until we found this low-profile, over-the-stove microwave. Problem solved, it fit perfectly over our new Whirlpool stove and the two look like a marriage made in heaven! See photo--now if I can just get the remainder of the job to look as good--this has helped to inspire me! PART 2--I would like to tell you the supporting documentation that came with the microwave was as good as everything else about it, however, this is the one shortcoming that you need to be aware of if you are installing this yourself. I had to "study" the instructions, they are not linear, sequential, step-by-step instructions. There are four (4) mounting options and they are each covered on each page--I had to finally cross out the instructions relating to the three (3) I was not using to focus only on the one I needed (see photo #2). The User Guide is pretty pathetic also, not even diagram of the control panel helping you to locate the buttons referenced in the vague instructions (see photo #3). I am hoping the documents were not produced by the same people who actually engineered this appliance!

This microwave is great! It has so many features and settings that there isn't anything that I've tried to warm up that it couldn't figure out! The under-microwave lights and venting work very well for cooking on the oven below. The size capacity is wonderful, especially for it's low profile!! It heats evenly and quickly with no cold spots left in my food. The inside material is very easy to clean but I don't find that my food is splattering as much in this microwave! This is a great buy from a company you can trust! 5 stars! :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We just got this installed today and I love it! Our other microwave was a casualty of Irma so when we finally were ready to replace it, we started searching for a low profile model that would be further away from the cook top. This fits the bill perfectly. The stainless option coordinates well with our existing appliances. Since it is deeper than our previous microwave, I love that there is no handle that sticks out and that the controls are hidden behind the door. And, with the additional depth, the exhaust fan will pull heat/steam from all four burners, not just the ones in the back. Bottom line, great design and exactly what we wanted.
