Zavor (ZSELE02) LUX EDGE Multi-Cooker Reviews

The Lux Edge Multi-Cooker 6qt will be replacing my manual pressure cooker, slow cooker and rice cooker! It is the “jack-of-all-trades” for cooking meals. You put the ingredients in the pot, choose the cooking setting, steam or pressure, and then the cooking function and press start and move along to another task. There is no need to keep an eye on it, as it will do all the work for you and once cooking is complete, it will keep your meal warm until it is ready to serve. It has multiple settings for cooking as a pressure cooker or slow cooker to leave the guesswork out of cooking time. I made pork ribs by first selecting the brown/sauté function. Then I was able to slow cook it on low for 6 hrs. This method produced the most tender, fall-of-the-bone ribs without effort! I then put them in the oven for 10 mins because we like our ribs to be crispy on top; this resembles grill cooking yet so much more tender! The ability to brown and cook in one pot is wonderful and makes prepping and clean-up simple. Using the pressure cooker setting, the timer will not start counting down until it is fully pressurized; this is important to know when trying to gauge overall cooking time. I made white rice with corn using the rice function and steam setting, and although it indicated 10 minutes for the time, it was actually longer. The pressure can easily be releases by turning the regulator knob to steam. We eat rice often in our home and the rice function allows you to choose the type of rice you are using, ex white, brown or risotto, for flawless, fluffy rice! This machine comes with a quick, easy to read quick-guide as well as a manual; the directions in the manual were not as clear and felt that it could have been better written. The Zavor LUX Edge multi-cooker is definitely an item you'll want for your kitchen. I found this multi-cooker to be a proven asset. I've used this several times and have not been disappointed! It has many functions from a rice cooker to a slow cooker to a pressure cooker. You can also steam your vegetables in it too! It was very easy to use, the control panel makes it easy to find and set with the buttons. The meat comes out so very tender, I made chicken thighs in it, and they were the best I ever had! I've used my Zavor Lux Edge Multi-Cooker a few times and I already love it. It is easy to use, and I can make my family hot, delicious meals, without spending hours in the kitchen. It even comes with a small recipe book, plus a downloaded e-cookbook with a ton of recipes for this multi-cooker. I love that the inside pot and rack are dishwasher safe making cleaning it a breeze. I received a 6 quart Zavor Lux Edge Multi-Cooker for free from TryItSampling. I love it! It has so many functions you can cook practically anything with it! You can pressure cook or slow cook lots of things in it. I used it to make stew last night. I cooked my meat first, then added my vegetables, meat, spices, and water to the cooker. I used the soup function and pressure cooked it for 30 minutes. In order for the cooker to fully pressurize, you have to wait about 25 minutes though, so for a soup that you want to cook for 30 minutes, it actually takes almost an hour. The count down doesn't begin until it is pressurized. I love it though! The soup turned out great! The meat was super tender, and so were the vegetables. I could see this being a great device for lots of people and situations: working moms and dads, vacationing in a camper or at a hotel, living in a nursing home, or just about anywhere for anything. I used my multi-cooker for the first time tonight. I made the chilli recipe that came in the booklet with the cooker. It cooked a lot faster than I thought it would and was so easy to use. This cooker makes and does so much I feel like I don't need to use my oven on a daily. It's a great size to stuff a lot of food in and feed a family of five. The booklet provides a lot of helpful tips and instructions so if you're a first time user like me one should read it. So far I've only made steamed white rice, but I have read everything that it can make. It is user friendly to an extent because there are so many settings you would need to read the guide and search for what you're making to make sure it is set right. This multi-cooker is AMAZING! I am a terrible cook and this is a game changer. I am awful about planning ahead and with this you don't have to. Throw your chicken in frozen with additional ingredients and voila! I have used it every night since it arrived and dinners have been fabulous. You can find so many recipes on pinterest and they are so easy. I am recommending this to everyone! Multi-cooker where have you been my whole life!
