I was very excited to try LUX 6 qt multi cooker . Easy to use . Left my Christmas gift was early to me this time. Let me give you pros and cons of this product Pros -Easy to use -I liked the lid locking system (compared to instant pot ) -Easy cleaning -Has a temperature customized for users - quality of the product is very good - making yogurt was easy (especially in winter) - food was taste - steaming also was very quic and easy - no mess and no spill Cons - I am not sure the container inside wasn't dishwasher safe . Bcoz after dishwashing I found the bottom of the bowl had white patches - the price is a bit higher . When ur getting the same product for lesser price Overall I feel when u go for brands probably the higher you got to pay . I liked the product and how easy we can use it . The day I opened this up I started simple with a bone broth which came out beautifully and tasted a lot better than any of the bone broth I've made in the stove top or a Crock-Pot. Directly after that I tried to make some hard boiled eggs which also came out great and were easy to peel afterwards. Finally I went Brave and cooked a whole chicken in it. However I did not account for the fact that the middle of the chicken was still frozen so I had to add 10 more minutes at the end which ended up being a tiny bit too long but the chicken was still really tasty. My husband even attempted to use it and it came out really well he made a tea that would normally take him hours to brew on the stove top and it only took about 20 minutes. I'm in love with my Zavor Lux Multi Cooker! The ease of use with so many functions is unreal. I browned a roast then cooked it to perfection, steamed assorted vegetables and made rice in it. The free cookbook I downloaded has mouth watering recipes I can't wait to try. The finger touch panel makes it easy to program the functions you want and time needed with a lid that automatically locks. The take out inner pot makes for easy cleaning and has a removable rack. I'm intrigued by it's yogurt making ability and that's my next granddaughter/grandma recipe to try. Thank you, Zavor, for the great product.....it's granny recommended! i absolutely love this. Now I can have one appliance to replace my other appliances. No more need for a rice cooker and yogurt maker and pressure cooker. This does it all and then some. This is my favorite kitchen appliance. I love that I can saute before I cook my dinner in 45 minutes with the pressure cooker or I can slow cook dinner all day long with the slow cooker feature. It has so many amazing features and functions my favorite is the delayed start I can have it start later on in the day if I want. It also functions as a rice cooker and yogurt maker I love the homemade yogurt this is my new friend in the kitchen I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
