The Zyliss Easy Pull Food Processor is a versatile tool for chopping, preparing, blending and pureeing ingredients. The Easy Pull can be used to make sauces, smoothies, bread crumbs, dips, salads and even ice cream! The Easy Pull is incredibly easy to use. Simply place one hand firmly on the bowl while pulling up and away with the handle. The 2 ft. cord will naturally draw back (*Do not over pull). Food is processed via dual acid etched blades that rotate in opposite directions. This allows all ingredients to be finely chopped. The addition of booster arms on the top and bottom will keep food from sticking, while creating even cuts. A collapsible handle has been included for convenient storage.

Focusing on functionality, durability, design, cleanliness and safety, Zyliss has relied upon a heritage of excellence that began in Switzerland over 60 years ago. Building on this time-held tradition, the company has advanced to produce and distribute kitchen equipment that is world-renowned. Zyliss has pioneered the design of more than 200 kitchen essentials, with quality and engineering that cannot be duplicated.

I use this literally everyday - I toss some bell peppers, jalapeno, cherry tomatoes, onion - give it 5 quick pulls and I am ready to sautee my veggies for a morning omelette or fritatta. Then in the evening, I toss in one sliced up avocado, onion, salt, pepper, sour cream - give it 10 quick pulls and I am ready to enjoy the easist and tastiest chunky guacamole ever. After using 1 for a year, I bought 2 more as gifts.

I can't find one thing that I dislike about this product. Have sent to my two children I was so impressed. Since there are just two of us in the home now, it's such a handy chopper, mincer, etc. It's just such fun to use!

This is hands down one of the biggest time savers for me! I have used this to chop onions, hard boiled eggs, raw potatoes, celery, carrots - and I can't wait to see what else to use it for as I have only had this a short time! Also, the clean up is soooo simple as this unit is only a few pieces of without any little crevices to catch food pieces. I love this product so much, I had my husband video me using it - and I posted the video on Facebook so that my friends could see what a great kitchen tool this was!

I received one as a gift right before Christmas, and loved it from the moment I opened it. To date I have purchase 8 as gifts for friends. This is the only appliance that I keep on my counter, because I use it almost every day. I have not used my large food processor since I got this.

I LOVE this gadget! Perfect for chopping anything that needs chopped and for making hummus and guacamole! My household is only two people so this mini-processor saves so much time! It is also so easy to clean and the size means it doesn't take up storage space! A winner feom every aspect!

We agree with Jill C. about how tricky to take out the plastic cover over the blade. The plastic cover could have a simple instruction inscribed on it on the other side. Otherwise, my husband finally took off the cover before use. Now, I will put it to test for the manual power. To be continued for the next part of the cutting review.

Figured out the safety guard removal, The bottom white plastic blade is removable carefully pry that off and you're good to go, it only goes on one way so no way to mess up, use your fingernails to start the bottom plastic blade away from the top plastic blade, once off, the blade guard slides right out, and you simply replace the bottom white plastic blade back the way it came.

What a great little machine! This processor is small but mighty. Although I love my large electric food processor, we live in Northern NY and are often without power during the winter (due to storms/etc) and it is great to have options to make things easier during hard times! We have a large family, and the 36 ounce max capacity is too small for all our needs, but comes in handy frequently when I don't want to dirty a larger one for small jobs. This processor is well designed and seems to be of high quality construction. I used it for pureeing cooked veggies (for baby food), and it worked quickly! Harder items worked well too, but required some pre-chopping into smaller sections.

I was skeptical about the effectiveness of such a small hand-operated food processor, but agreed to accept a complementary sample for my trial and review. As others has noted, it arrives with a plastic protective sleeve over the very sharp blades with no instructions provided as to how to remove it. I was afraid of slicing a finger while fumbling with it, so handed it over to my husband who figured out that you have to remove the plastic holder at the bottom of the column and then slide the plastic sleeve off.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting this thing to work very well. I was going to take it for a test drive and (assuming it wasn't a piece of garbage) pass it along to some young relatives who camp frequently. I was shocked to discover that it chops better and faster and more consistently than my electric chopper and is much easier to clean. Admittedly, my electric chopper is a small, inexpensive model and I'm sure there are larger, more expensive ones that are more satisfactory. However, I don't want to spend a lot of money and I don't have much storage space. Furthermore, I don't have a lot of outlets in my kitchen, so I'm limited to one area on the counter if I'm going electric. The Zyliss frees me to work anywhere in the kitchen and it's surprisingly easy to use.
