I have no idea why people seem to like this coffee maker. You create a mess while making it because you have to take the pieces apart with each cup. It is not quick at all because you still have to boil the water. The coffee it makes is not any better or worse than any other coffee maker I've ever had. So it is messy, slow, inconvenient and does not make a better cup of coffee. Oh. And often coffee grounds get into the cup of coffee you're making. Do not waste your money. The only plus to this is it is not expensive. But a useless piece of junk at any price is too expensive

We use this to make Lattes with and electric frothed and 1883 syrups. Yum and as good of a cup as you would buy and spend much more on.

This little contraption here is a wonderful little coffee maker pretty much anyone can use. It comes in multiple parts, the plunger, the cylinder, the plastic filter holder and the paper filter. Reasons I love this coffee maker 1. You can make coffee anywhere with it Seriously, all you got to do is get hot water and your favorite grounded up coffee and you are set. Even if you are on top of Mount Everest. 2. It makes a really smooth cup of coffee. So you know that bitter coffee you get from work? Throw that away and get one of these. It makes a nice smooth cup with no bitterness whatsoever. 3. It's only 30 bucks. Now to some of yall, yeah, that's a lot. I do get that. But it comes with filters and a scoop. With a honkin huge handle. So that's pretty sweet. That and you can get like 700 more paper filters for 10 bucks. Yeah. Last ya like a year or 2 if you want it to. 4. You can make it as strong as you want! Just grind up your beans however you want and let it seep. Want it strong enough to make Arny cry? Well let it sit longer. Want it so weak that even your baby niece laughs at it? Well immediately push'er on through! You get to decide how jittery or sleepy you are today with this thing! Here's my video review of the Aeropress along with its pros and cons https://youtu.be/vuHH1D_7YGY

I got my original Aeropress at another website, one for "geeks", but I've had it for 8 years and love it. I use it every day, usually make a latte, use 2-3 scoops of dark coffee, microwave the water in a measuring cup, pour the hot water up to the 2 or 3 line, and press with the plunger. If you want regular coffee, add more hot water to the cup, but I add steamed milk to make a latte. So simple, so fast, so easy. Mine has a crack in the plunger, so I thought it was time to replace with a new one. Didn't know they cost $25, but it's worth it. The filters they send last a long time and you can get replacement filters. All you do for cleaning is to unscrew the bottom, use the plunger to push the grounds out, and rinse it in water! Takes up very little space, never use any other coffee maker.

This air press system is a breakthough for my coffee making. I'll never go back to drip coffee. If you want to brew a single cup of coffee, you won't be disappointed. The enclosed instructions are weak, so look up the YouTube videos demonstrating the various techniques and you'll be up to speed in no time. I use the inverted method. There is a slight learning curve to get your best results, but don't fret. You will brew really great coffee right out of the box. You can get very trendy if you like, and weigh the coffee in grams, and measure the temperature of the water, and time the brew. But I just want a good cup, and have a simple method that is great every time. By the way, it is a wonderful travel companion.
