I can't tell you how much I love this flipwich I bought about 10 of them one for each of my children and also my friends I use it twice if not more each week it makes excellent grilled sandwiches!

You can use regular sliced white bread. You'll want to keep the burner to about low to medium, so that the cheese melts or the contents heat up evenly. The lower temp isn't mandatory, just a suggestion. Medium & up, will cook the sandwich very quickly. How fast, about 1 minute fast. So don't leave it on & walk away.
I like to put it on the stove's burner, start prepping my sandwich, then turn the Flipwich over to heat the other side. This gives you a more even cook.
I tried it with olive oil & butter both have their pluses. Wipe the Flipwich with oil just before putting your sandwich in place. I made the ham & pizza sandwiches both ways.
If your sandwich is thick, not to worry, it will squish everything together to form a pocket. It has a locking wire on the handle which helps hold everything in place.
The Flipwich is very convenient to wash too. Fold the ends back & the two halves separate. Not to worry, they go back together very easily. You can wipe them out if you'd like, removing any debris.
Overall, I really enjoy the Red Copper Flipwich. I look forward to getting some better breads, & making some real cool panini sandwiches.

Love this. It is better than using a frying pan, like I used to. Clean up is very easy too. My wife gave this to me as an early Christmas gift, because she felt sorry for me struggling with a frying pan, and she already bought this.

This item is Fantastic, and beats pulling out the big griddle. It's quick and easy to you, and in no time @ all, your toasted cheese sandwich is done. And I being left handed, always had a hard time flipping the sand which over, without having it come apart, where as, my struggles, are know over! Just flip it, and "There you go!"
