Although this toaster/oven does the job, it is very noisy when baking. It vibrates and is generally noisy

This attractive oven is just the right size for our counter. We don't need one with lots of bells and whistles. It toasts just right and bakes/roasts evenly. I let it heat empty at about 400F for about 45 minutes to cook off the “new†smell. It has been smooth sailing ever since.

Not what I thought it was going to be. When you pull the rack out there is nothing to catch it. It just keeps coming straight out. The on and off knob is veriy hard to turn. I tried heating a slice of pizza and it was cold on one end. I don't like anything about it except the color is nice. Black

So far it works fine as a toaster. I have not baked or broiled in it. It is sturdy and not too large.

I love it, it actually cooks the food the way it's supposed to and it's faster than any other toaster oven I have ever purchased.

I had another model Black & Decker toaster oven that I absolutely loved! It lasted 7 years and really was a joy to use. Not the case with this one. it looks OK -- but it's inferior in every respect. The oven doesn't come up to an accurate temperature; the interior is small, 4 slice toaster tops! and toast always burns no matter how I try to finesse the settings; the knobs have grubby short grips so it's hard to turn them without moving the toaster abruptly across the whole counter-top; the electric cord is so short the unit is too close to the wall and I have to be careful not to create a fire hazard. And there's more... the only reason I haven't returned it is that I have already gotten rid of the chemical smell that all new ovens make when you first begin to use them and I hate to go through that again with a new unit so soon. Next time I'll know better and make a point to see the actual product in the store. Brand name isn't enough, one model can be night and day different from the next.

Oven is fairly new, so have only used a few times. I have so far only used the bake option. It cooked chicken strips very evenly. French fries took a bit longer, but could have had too much on the tray!

Good price on a depedable B&D toaster oven. This one is the exact same size as my old B&D oven that I bought 8 years ago. Heats up to 450* quick! Cooks QUICK, perfect size for just myself and Wife! Only reason I bought another one is because my daughter wanted to try one of these out, Soooo, I gave her our old one so she could see how well these work without having to buy one right away. She REALLY likes it also! ONLY NOW she says she needs a bigger B&D toaster oven so she can cook for her all 4 of her family quicker......
