Lasted a year or so, then it began uneven toasting on both sides. Left plastic handle broke. Finally, left side will not stay down. Overall, a very light, cheap feeling device.

Toaster did not last. Left side stopped working after only using it a few times. Now right side has gone out! Cost too much to last such a short time.

Had produce for a few months. One slicer does not go down to toast and the other slicer doesn't toast evenly. The dial also doesn't work properly because I have to set it really high just to get a piece of toast. This product was made very poorly.

Bought it three months ago. Left side stays longer and comes out burnt. Will return it first chance I get.

I was given the toaster as an X-Mas present, used it twice and the metal lifting slide broke on the right side, shortly after the other side's spring to pop up failed, can't tell the person who gave the gift out of embarrassment. Online now looking for a well built toaster to last and thought I'd write a review. Buyer beware, product is made badly and will work for a very short time.

Worst toaster ever. Bought it 2 weeks ago and the mechanism that slides up and down got stuck in the down position and broke. Threw away the box and can't return it. Literally bought it a week before Christmas. Very disappointed. Complete waste of money.

Got this for Christmas. Only one side will stay down. Both sides only the outside elements work, inside elements dont heat up.
going to let my in-laws know and see if it can be returned.

One side of the toaster has stopped working while the other is still fine.
I have one of these at home and one at work, both have the same problem but on different side. I will not buy black and decker again.

We are changing all of our small appliances to stainless steel and when we saw this toaster we knew it was the perfect fit for us. Â The black accent on the toaster was a definite selling point. Â We love it. The features it comes with are second to none.
