After using this food processor attachment, I am convinced. NO MORE need for those giant bulky food processors taking up valuable space in my tiny New York apartment home. ALL YOU NEED is the Braun Hand Blender, and the addition of this attachment, and you have an instant food processor. The Germans have done it again--this is life-changing, I tell you! I have a $70 Cuisinart food processor--so around the same price as this attachment. At first I was wary, since buying this is simply the attachment--you need the hand blender! Combined with the purchase of the hand blender, it's $170. But I have to tell you--it's worth every penny, because the while the $70 Cusinart Blender is sitting in my kitchen cabinet storage, the Braun Hand Blender is always used every day. Taking that into account, it's definitely a better value. My regular food processor also doesn't do the job well. I typically use it to make fillings for my various Asian food prep: dumpling fillings require lettuce and cabbage to be processed and chopped to fine pieces--using a food processor makes the veggie prep much more efficient than cutting all the lettuce into super fine pieces with a knife and arm power. When I bought my food processor, that's what I was meaning to use it for--but it's useless. My lettuce never gets fully processed, extra lettuce is left stuck on the bottom, and there is way too much water buildup that prevents the blade from processing fully. The Braun is great. I don't know whether it's simply because of the more premium brand and machine design, but it processes the whole shabang, just as it promises. Surprise--it actually processes the food fully and completely! I've also tried it with almonds for almond butter and various seeds to make substitutes for my addiction to supermarket high-processed peanut butter, and it really crushes those hardy nuts so thoroughly and completely. It's Amazing! My mother loves to julienne, shred, and create various textures in vegetables--the inserts in this attachment answers her needs as well! As she's getting older, it's getting more difficult for her to spend more time standing and hand-cutting vegetables, so this attachment is a great tool for people who may be lazy in prepping food--or also for people who may have limited physical capability to cut, but still want the experience of a self-made, home-cooked meal. While the price may be a little daunting for a simple attachment, it's totally worth it. I love this whole idea of attachments--especially for small apartments, it's great when things can have multi-functions (which is why the Instantpot is such a hit!). I love this concept and highly recommend those who are looking for a multi-use kitchen appliance to consider investing in the Braun Hand Blenders/Braun Hand Blender attachments. As someone who cooks and meal-preps regularly, I have tried many food processors and was always disappointed until I found this Braun Food Processor, which is by far the best one! I like how light and compact it is so it doesn't take up much space in my tiny kitchen, and it works extremely well! With the hand blender, it can blend literally anything, even the hardest ice, nuts, etc. I'm so glad I no longer have to worry about my food processor getting stuck or broken, like I do with other blenders. This Braun Food Processor is also awesome because it comes with so many parts that can slice, chop, julienne, and even make French fries! I never have to spend a ton of time chopping and slicing vegetables because this does it automatically for me and exactly how I want them. This food processor has saved me hours meal-prepping in the kitchen every week and made my life a million times easier! I highly recommend this Braun Food Processor for anyone with the Braun Hand Blender, or who ever needs to chop or blend but wants to save time! I am writing this review as part of a contest.

This attachment is great for chopping vegetables julienne or slicing generally. Overall does exactly what it needs to. Would recommend!
