This thing does everything a food processor, blend. And includes more accessories then you know what to do with.

I like that I can use this anywhere and I used it at Thanksgiving at another persons home and it was devine!

Arrived all parts dusty inside smashed cardboard box, and with a UK power plug. Will be returning

...have used the food processor, 2 cup chopper, and the wisk for whip cream so far which has worked really well for all three!...Have not used the potato masher yet, but am sure it will work just fine. Have not made a smoothie yet either, and am confident that the ice chopper mixer cup will work well for that...

Easy to use. Good quality.

We bought this product for its high wattage and multi-function use, but the first use for cauliflower-ricing in the food processor did not work. After needing to chop the vegetable pieces into small 1-2 inch chunks, the machine only riced about 2 tablespoons successfully. Then we read on the box that the material has a p65 warning, identifying the unit has toxins. Customer Service has not been helpful from Amazon (they dropped the ball) or Braun. I am waiting to have someone to fix this issue for me, so I can be a happy customer, and remove my negative comments.

What I dislike: 1)The safety feature of holding down top while pushing power button-terrible-hard to do with one hand with arthritis so have to use two hands which causes the carafe to spin and spill if not quick-seems like they could have thought of a better way to add that safety feature if nec. 2) The chopper bowl does a horrible job and doesn't get the whole bowl, eg. if chopping herbs, you have huge uneven chunks, haven't had a good experience with the bowl yet. What I like: 1) Plenty of power. 2)The potato masher is fantastic for potatoes. Not great for avocado. 3) can push the hand blender up and down which is a nice feature over my older model. I regret getting rid of the older model-I had replaced and added accessories over 2 decades but when the motor went I had a tough time finding replacement and couldn't find one for less than $97 at the time. I really regret not paying the $97. Saw one online today for $56-KICKING MYSELF!

I didn’t appreciate your sending me a thirty dollar unit that’s 350 watt when I ordered and paid for a ninety dollar 700 watt unit and now I am put out by having to return this junk as I am feeble and have no way to print a label b

its only day 1 of using the product and i did a variety of things, used it for whisking yogurt for buttermilk, making guacomole from *just* ripe avocados (which means it needed some good power), shredding carrots (coarse and fine), slicing squash (super thin!) and onions - and it did all of it well. Clean up was a breeze - just rinsed it under water and it was fine. EXCEPT the big disc for attachments used in the big food processor - it stained orange with the carrots! i was surprised but i am hoping it goes away in subsequent wash. there are tooooo many attachments - which is a good thing for use but also a bad thing when it comes to storage. I have already decided to put >50% parts away to be rarely used(the masher, the ice crusher cup and its accessories). this set came with the 1.5 cup and 6 cup chopper and the icecrusher flask which i am yet to understand fully - (is it a chopper, is it only for crushing ice, is it a flask for blending - if yes, then why is there another flask - so many questions to be answered!) is this worth $200+tax? umm NO, but am i going to still keep it - YES, because of the multipurpose and varied size options should you buy it?? NO if you already have another hand blender with a coarse chopper attachment (then all you are missing is the food processor for which you have plenty of options!). YES if you dont have a handheld blender or a food processor and are looking for a good investment instead of buying a cheapie and then buying additional devices for different uses..

I bought this back in March for my new house — due to COVID we just moved. And this blender and all the attachments have been used before!! I’m appalled. I spent $200 and I got a re-used and damaged item. I am absolutely sick about this.

Blender works great. Feels well made. Did have some trouble, the first one they sent me was 220v, which in a US kitchen is a bit excessive. Amazon fixed that problem quickly and satisfactorily.

Overpriced! Beware and check store prices before buying. This is almost double the price and I cannot return anymore. Easy to clean but blending power is very lacking.

I lived with someone who did some searching online and found a suggestion to use a Braun hand blender. Well, they got one, and I used it for years while I lived there. Fast forward to now. I tried using a KitchenAid, and it splashed my Bulletproof coffee all over the counter! Ok, I know what to do. Order a Braun!! They designed the end with the blades to be a kind of modified bell shape, and that directs the liquid or whatever you're blending downwards instead of violently outwards, and it never splashes my coffee out of the mason jar and all over the counter like other brands. So anyway, I highly recommend Braun Multiquick blenders. The 9 is the top of the line obviously, but the first Braun Multiquick I used was a 5 and it never let us down, we even made mayonnaise with it, no problem. NOTE: I had to return my 9, and got the 7 instead. I have to say, I think I like the 7 better, because the 9 has a kind of safety lock on the top you have to push before the trigger works. The 7 just has a trigger, and I like that since I don't have any kids here to worry about getting hurt.

Excellent product and heavy duty ! Blends in seconds . I loved it as it serves my purpose of purée , soup . Doesn’t need much space . The safety button is also an added feature to protect the little hands which are happy to help even when u don’t need ?

It is outstanding blender. Very powerful and the auto off safety feature in just awesome. I use this for making smoothies, and fruit juice. I return the orange juicer because juicer also removes pulp from the fruits and I don't like that. This blender is perfect for my use. I will highly recommend.

Do not buy this. At first I loved it like I love all Braun products. It's powerful and gets the job done. Super easy to clean too. However, the safety lock feature is unreliable. I thought this was a great idea because I am teaching my child to cook with me but now that the feature doesn't work as it should and when it should I have an expensive device and a bunch of useless accessories. Simply put, you need to press a button to unlock the device before it will begin blending. When I press the button to unlock, it remains locked. I've pressed this thing and unplugged/replugged it countless times and over days. It simply won't work and the light keeps flashing to press unlock. LOL. Although this is under warranty and I should be able to get a replacement/repair, I can't get through to customer service for assistance/replacement due to scaled-down operations/customer service. Save yourself and buy something else.

My Cuisinart immersion blender bit the dust after very occasional use for the past 5 years, because it relied on 2 cheap, tiny plastic parts to spin together. I assumed for the higher price that this on one that this Braun would be higher quality. Nope, same design. And its components (the bowl, other pieces) are cheaper plastic too. I wasn’t even sure they’d hold up in the dishwasher (I hand wash the bladed wand). I am keeping because I need it in quarantine cooking days, but I do hope it breaks before the warranty period ends... because I expect it to break.

I purchased this on Feb. 22, 2020 and it now overheats and gets extremely hot after only 10 minutes of intermittent use. Braun refuses to refund, and so does Amazon. Braun's customer service is extremely poor. Paid a lot of money and expected it to last longer than 3 months!

This immersion blender has very weak power. Did not emulsify mayo like we desired. It took a lot longer to make a smoothie than just using a bullet blender. It is very nice looking, but that's about it. We ended up returning it. It was very disappointing.

The power behind the unit is wonderful. It replaces a 20 year old product by the same producer. I hope this one lasts as long as the last one. I use mine for all my baking and cooking. Well worth the price.

I bought this product to replace my old immersion blender, my old regular blender, and my very old chopper. I use it as an immersion blender all the time. It is a GREAT immersion blender. I have not tried it as a regular blender yet. It claims it can blend ice, but we’ll see. I love all the attachments. It will take me a while to try out each one. It fits very nicely into a cabinet, taking up very little space. I bought small plastic bins to hold the main parts so that they can stand up, easy to find. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I love this emulsifier. I keep it out on my counter to blend my shakes everyday. I've mashed cauliflower with the masher, chopped nuts, whisked eggs and egg whites. It's wonderful. I bought this same appliance for a shower gift and altho the couple had registered for another brand name, I got them this one because it came with more attachments and I just think it out performs any other out there. I recommend it highly.

After waiting to use this I was surprised to realized the plug is not an American one? I would love you send me a converter so I can try your product and give you an honest opinion. Looking forward for it !

really high quality tool and technology

This is a very effective hand mixer. The "ACTIVE Blade" allows me to blend fairly small quantities of material by forcing the blade down close to the bottom of the cup. The power is great, most hard objects stand no chance but it will not crush ice. Because the mixer section separates from the electric motor it is easy to clean without worrying about getting moisture into the mechanism. Unfortunately, I have had a recurring problem with the small nylon spline coupler that connects the stainless steel shaft of the mixer to the socketed motor drive. the coupler keeps coming loose and sliding off the shaft. I have already lost one so I know that you can't get a replacement coupler without buying a whole new mixer assembly which seems costly and wasteful. So close to perfect :(

Love this immersion blender. I have used it to purée soup. The chopper attachment is great for quick chopping onions and garlic. I have not used the potato ricer or whisk but based on how well the chopper works , I’m sure I will be pleased with that too. I would definitely recommend this product.

Had a Braun for years, love this one. Powerful, yet not crazy fast. The remarkable thing is that it never splashes the material out of a container. It's got a gentle start, and somehow nothing ever splashes out. Plus, the control 4 Speed Works, very very well. Very easy, very intuitive to use. So this model is much more controllable than anything else I've ever used. In fact, I bought a cheap model prior to this and returned it, because it wasn't really usable. Liquid virtually exploded out of a container. And the accessories are very very good, too. They're useful. I'm selling the Cuisinart.

I love this item reason for return was I only needed the container as I dropped and broke my other one. The unit itself did not need to be replaced. Ordered a new set but then went to Breville web site and was able to order from them at a great price just the one item for replacing so that is why I returned it. Love it for smoothies ice , nut chopping. Great for making my home made whipped cream.

Great product, use it daily. Immersion blender does a great job. Probably use the small processor the most. Next the bowl with the feed. Probably the least favorite so far is the shredder. But I’m thinking if I chill cheese so it’s a little harder; that might work better. It has come out more crumbled balls than shredded.

The price is high but I like it and the quality is excellent but I think the power is weak

One of the best and i can say it is the only 700watts handheld blender. With all of its extra parts that comes with it. You got everything you need in your kitchen. My wife and i really love this big boy. We made a delicious guacamole, mashed potato, smoothies and pureed soup.

I use this probably twice a week. I make lots of sauces, especially enchilada sauce from fresh chili. The potato masher part is just like using a ricer, goodbye chunks of potatoes. (I use to use a ricer but only for company) Don't use this if you want perfectly chopped onion, however if my onion is going in a meatloaf or whatever, what does it mater that it is perfectly chopped? Works well mixing many spices for rubs. Every day I find new uses for it. Easy to clean, yes it means you are cleaning more stuff (mashed potatoes can be done with simple masher and whip), but they don't come out as nice as when I use this, so I wash more things. I bought because I saw a chef in Santa Fe use it to make his enchilada sauce, instead of a blender. Easier to clean than a blender. Draw backs ... I wish it was cordless.

1000 times better than any other hand blender I previously bought (I went through a few that really frustrated me)... this one is awesome, I use it multiple times a day

This is my third blender by Braun. But this time the small chopper's lid has broken that has never happened before, and I was surprised that the warranty covers only the motor of a blender. The price for a replacement lid is almost the same as the price for the whole chopper attachment.

I moved to US from Europe. And, of course, I have been trying to find a good quality food processor for my brand new empty kitchen ;) Spend almost a moth visiting different appliances stores, looking for good quality product. I have to admit that non of US brand can even compare to this one neither in quality or easy to use. Even those high priced product are not comparable to this one. You cannot spend more than $600 for the product that doesn't have various rotation speed settings or doesn't have enough cutting blades or what else it doesn't... This one delivers all I need.

The blender it self works good, but the attachments are junk. There ware points are all plastic and they break right away.

I am so glad I bought this brand because I love it! It doesn't splash and works like a charm! I've used it several times and made smoothies, sauces, vegan cheese sauces and dressings and they are just the creamiest and smoothest! Soups blend wonderfully and are smooth and creamy in no time. No more transferring hot soup to a blender! It's solid and hefty, good quality. It's soooo easy to use and clean up is a snap! The gadgets that come with it however, the 1.5 c chopper and food processors, are not the sturdiest plastic and I don't know how long they'll last, but they have worked well so far. I needed a food processor and when I saw this deal, I went for it. It serves it's purpose for now but eventually I will purchase a good quality food processor. But you can't go wrong with blender itself!

Guess we got a defective one, it had almost no power and sounded like metal on metal. My husband said it sounded like bad bearings. Sent back right away

After much reading, bought this set to replace budget stick blender nearing end of life. So far delighted with set. Motor unit is crazy powerful. Really like the variable speed trigger, versus most units hi/lo switches. Set came with a whisk attachment which is way useful, more than expected. Only negative (tiny) is that motor unit has a "safety" button on the end which has to be "bumped" before trigger will operate. Button times out in only 1-2 seconds. Didn't expect the timeout initially, was perplexed. On company/delivery, was speedy. One attachment was shattered on delivery. Placed ticket with Braun along with pic and order #. Received a replacement from Braun via speedy delivery.

I only did a couple of tests, but much better than the $50 unit that replaces. I did mayo, which mixed so well and quickly, and an ice cream shake, which I didn't even felt the hard compressed ice-cream. This blender is very powerful. It does look beautiful. I almost didn't bought this blender because of the pictures, but those pictures clearly show product misuse, and people who bought it from the wrong seller. If you see "ships from and sold by Amazon.com", don't be afraid and order it, you'll get the american version. I'm not very interested in the attachments but I left a bunch of pictures in case you are. You'll have to get used to operate the blender. A bit annoying in the beginning with the safety system. The blender have two buttons; the one on the very top is to unlock and be able to use the blender. It goes from red to green when you push it. Then you can use the trigger to blend. The trigger is absolutely awesome. Perfectly made, it gives you total control, so easy to use. The safety button self-locks in less than two seconds, but you can easily push it again with the same hand, not a big deal. The shape and the flexible shaft allows you to get amazing results, at a price. It is considerably harder to clean by hand. But if you use the dishwasher no problem. I was very impressed by the Anti-Splash technology. I actually tried to make it splash by slowly removing at full power the blender while I was making the milk shake, and not even a single drop splashed anywhere. Very good for me because I was always making a mess with my prior blender. The only thing I really didn't like was the back handle material. It is cheap rubber that will always stay dirty. Make sure you wash every single piece as the manual says, or you could end up with some rusted parts as other people experienced with similar Braun models.

One week in and I mostly like this set. The hand blender is powerful and works well. I've tested many of the extra attachments and like them enough that I was considering putting away our large and heavy food processor and trying to just use this set instead, as it's more convenient because I can put everything into a cabinet which uses less counter space. The quality of the hand mixer seems excellent. The plastic of the attachments seem a bit thin. I'm withholding judgement on the durability until I've used the set longer. I'm taking a star away and offering a warning because I ran into a major quality control problem and nearly returned it. The large food grater blade bit into the lid and tamper of the food processor bowl and left bits of plastic in the food I was making. Examining it, it appears the metal chopper blade is just slightly warped causing it to rise too high. I've contacted Braun support and they will be mailing me replacement parts. They claim they've never heard of this happening before. It was very disappointing. I'm now waiting to see what they mail and to see if fixes the issue. I recommend you test your large grater blade as soon as you receive it just to make sure it doesn't chew up the food processor lid and tamper.

Went from nice to have to a kitchen requirement. Powers thru most everything and has versatile attachments

The produce arrived in a box that clearly had sat in a warehouse long enough start seriously degrading. On top of that the main blender tub had a large crack in it so we had to do a replacement. The replacement arrived in a box about the same as old. We found no physical breakage but are not impressed with the quality of the plastic and system. Our preference was to return it but we kept it as a backup.

A great blender--very powerful. The drawback is that the mixing head is small, so if you need to mix a large batch, it does take patience and time. The plastic 'mashing' attachment doesn't work well at all unless the contents has already been mixed and mashed. Then, it does a little blending, but it's not robust enough to mash by itself.

I absolutely love this! I replaced my old Braun Multimixer which is no longer made any more. I use it everyday. My husband has a protein shake and 2 tuna salad sandwiches everyday. I use the active blade shaft for the shake and the 2 cup chopper accessory for the tuna. Then I put them in the dishwasher except for the chopper lid, which I hand wash and I’m done in less then 10 minutes total for both! ????

Was eye balling it for a long time and finally got it! Love it! The annoying part I'd the power button, but it's just some getting used to process.

I had my last Braun for 20 years and loved it. I regifted this Braun and bought a Breville. Such a dif!!! Love my Braun!

New design does NOT blend as well as my old Braun. Had to use old one to get soup creamy. Was only buying because my old one is Plastic and I wanted Stainless Steel but it even failed on that point because it seems to have some kind of nonstick coating inside the bell where the blade is. I returned it.

It's a European model that needs 240v.

Just received this. Braun Multiquick 9 Hand Blender with ActiveBlade Technology and 2-Cup Chopper my first time using. I made bolinaise sauce (meat marinara sauce) and this “power stick”. Hand blender I call it a power stick! It certainly made short work of my bollinaise. It puréed my sauce so quick and easy. Can't wait to use it for all my holiday cooking needs such as puréeing my pumpkin butternut squash soup, gravy's sauces and ease of chopping veggies! A wonderful helpful addition to my kitchen utensils. Chop blend and purée with ease

Note that I am a first time Immersion Blender user, therefore I cannot compare this unit to others, but only share my opinion on its features and usefulness. To operate the blender you need to use both hands, one on the top to press for activation and the other to depress the button for on and speeds. The blender's ACTIVE Blade technology is you pushing the top firmer to make the blades drop down, or lighter for less contact with the cutting blades. I found it blended my cheddar potato soup very well, right in my Instapot with the lid off. I had no external splashing of the pot contents as promised, and it was SO SMOOTH, with not a single lump of potato or flour. However for the life of me I can't seem to adjust the speed via the button as far as I can tell. You have to depress the button the entire time and I can't hear or see a decrease or increase in speed. I'm planning on calling the manufacture for advice, after I try a few more times to do this. It hasn't been an issue so far, but I want to have full usage of the device. The chopper worked great for making my first home made salsa, and the blending shaft and beaker for a creamy smoothie, although I wish it had come with a metal beaker instead for ice cream shakes. I found the wisk attachment tines to be a little on the thin side making this a weak wisk, more suitable for making something more like salad dressing than whipped cream. But I love how attractive it is, it's deep capacity, you can submerge up to the bright green line on the shaft, and how incredibly easy it is to disassemble and clean thoroughly in the sink. I do wish it came with some kind of stand or pot clip as it makes a mess if you sit it down for a moment, and it is awkward to store, it needs a container. For now I keep it in the box it came in but that won't work long term. I am excited to add new techniques to my cooking abilities and this sleek, stylish, powerful tool set inspires me to try new things.

This Braun electric immersion blender is really a convenient little tool. It comes with a few attachments including the blending attachment, a large cup to blend things in. A whisk, a chopper attachment and more. I will start off by saying one thing that I did not like about this was that it was not wireless. This would have been absolutely perfect if it was wireless, especially because I'm one that doesnt have a very large kitchen so I have to move around a lot for different things to utilize the space that I do have in my kitchen. The only other inconvenience was that in order to use the blending attachment there is a button on the back of the tool with a lock symbol. You just push this symbol and wait for it to turn green and use it right away. This is a locking mechanism which makes it so you dont end up with an accident which is actually pretty intuitive. The blender is very useful, sleek, and nice and heavy. It is a really nice kitchen appliance that could definitely come in handy and replace quite a few other gadgets if you are someone who likes to have a minimal amount of clutter in your kitchen.

I also made a couple smoothies. I also noticed how quiet it is when using it. My only issue would be that you can't really get ice crushed like I would want, but there may be an attachment they have for that or maybe there is another model they have with an attachment, but other than that this Braun Multiquick Blender is awesome and I would highly recommend it.

Don't let the simplicity of the Braun Multi Quick 9 fool you – it is a powerful set of interchangeable kitchen accessories. When I first pulled it out of the box, I have to admit that my expectations weren't too high. Maybe it was because a lot of the pieces were plastic, or maybe it was because I have owned kitchen gadgets before that simply never lived up to their promises. I have had chopping gadgets that never really chopped and massive blender/food processors that truly never really blended because the blade wasn't low or powerful enough. I finally purchased a compact food processor last Thanksgiving, but it is a real pain to clean once I am done, so it ended up in the pantry. This product may be one of the most versatile, and dare I say powerful, kitchen products I have ever owned. What's in the box: This set comes with a 700-watt handheld motor which attaches to each of the accessories, including a whisk, a masher/puree accessory, the handheld “blender” accessory, and a 2-cup chopper. The set also includes a large cup (which they refer to as a “beaker”) and a type of adapter that interfaces with the whisk. It also comes with an instruction booklet containing a couple of short recipes. My experience: I generally prepare an omelet each morning consisting of an egg and some egg whites. If I add more whites, the mixture doesn't fit into my bowl, so using the beaker and the whisk is perfect. I simply empty my egg whites, single egg and a little bit of half and half into the beaker and whisk for about 5-7 seconds. This creates a fluffy, homogeneous omelet!! No more egg whites spilling onto the counter from the bowl from the hand-mixing! This also makes delicious guacamole. Generally, I like my guacamole chunky, which means I have to dice my onions and roma tomatoes and mash the ripe avocados by hand. Dicing can take a while, so a chopper comes in handy! Be careful, though, as this chopper is more powerful than you anticipate, and you can end up with pureed onion and roma tomatoes if you chop for too long. I chopped the quartered onion for 3-5 seconds and they were perfect. I placed the second half of the quartered onion and chopped for 7 seconds and ended up with pureed onion for my guacamole! It was still delicious. As for the avocado, I decided to place it in the chopper and it created a smooth avocado cream to which I added my romas, onions and roasted serranos. Tasty! My thoughts: Using the handheld blender, smoothies are delicious, and fresh or thawed fruit is easier to blend/emulsify than is frozen fruit. To get a homogeneous mixture, be sure to lift up the hand blender and return it to the mixture as you continue to mix the ingredients in the beaker. The masher is also a fabulous accessory to create “cauliflower potatoes” combining cooked cauliflower with a blend of almond milk, coconut milk and half and half. On the motor portion, you will notice a flashing red light on top. To turn the motor on, simply depress the button for 1-2 seconds (it will turn green) and choose your speed on the handle. Releasing the motor portion from any accessory is easy – simply depress the side buttons and the motor will be quickly released from the accessory you are using. Aside from that, there are 3 things I absolutely love about this set: 1. The wide-mouthed “beaker” cup. It is easy to get contents in and pour them out. Plus, it is super easy to clean compared to other narrow blender cups. It is not too big and not too small – it is Goldilocks-perfect. 2. The rubber non-skid ring on the bottom of the chopper bowl. This truly does make a difference in maintaining the bowl in one place as you chop ingredients. It is easy to clean, too! 3. The compact nature of all the accessories. I also love the fact that each one of them is super easy to clean when compared to other units. I don't like to have a lot of things on my kitchen counter, but this is one of those products that will enjoy a spot on my counter given I use it daily. I have never said this about any kitchen accessory, but this truly is one of those must-haves for daily use, whether you are making a salad dressing, a delicious, fluffy omelet, your daily smoothie, or dicing some veggies. The Braun Multi Quick 9 truly is an amazing kitchen necessity!!

I had a less expensive stick but it couldn't handle the heave cheese sauces i wanted to make (in small quantities of course LOL) This unit is a definite step up, plenty of power, great accessories, and cleans up quick.

I love to make hot sauces with my peppers I grow in the garden. But a normal stand blender doesn't liquify the peppers as well as I need it to. The Braun MQ9097 is able to blend the pepper mixture down to a good hot sauce consistency that I love. 10/10 product.

The hand blender itself looks chic yet still overprice for the whole set with all other cheap flimsy plastic accessories.

Blends perfectly. The mashing tool does do a better job on soft foods like potatoes. The chopping container is large and cleans easily. I use it to chop all my onion, garlic and ginger - no more tears. The cup is good for mixing one cup, but i would have liked a tall narrow pitcher like I had with another blender. The safety feature of holding the top down while depressing the on button is a bit annoying, but I found you can let go of the top after the blade starts so perfect then. I haven't figured out the speed control, but I tend to go full speed on blenders so not an issue.

This item is great. I didn't have any kitchen appliance and now it's like I have everything! this is really handy with all of its parts. Although it might not be as powerful as a heavy duty processor or blender, it does its job in the best possible way.

Wish the motor would be a wee bit more powerful. The whisk is a little flimsy but works to stir "thin" batter, etc. Chopper was okay, not great. Haven't tried the potato masher.

I would probably love it as I ordered it so I could mash food for my 95-year-old father who is terminally ill. However, THIS UNIT WAS DESIGNED TO BE USED IN EUROPE... it can NOT be used with American electric outlets. Prongs are round... will not even FIT in a US designed electrical outlet! So disappointed as I was anxious to receive it and use it. Returning today!

I love that I can blend veggies right in the pot. I also make mayo, salad dressings, have mashed potatoes and cauliflower that come out perfect. I have not used the mini processor yet but I have a salsa recipe ready to try. It’s also easy to clean. I just zip it a few times in a cup of soapy water and scrub with a brush after. Order it! You’ll be glad you did.

UPDATE 20 MONTHS LATER: Best purchase I've made on Amazon, and I joined Prime 17 years ago. I use the various attachments almost daily, and it's stood the test of time. I'm always coming up with new uses for it - and it's never let me down. Pizza and tortilla dough in the processor? Sure. Grating and slicing and fries? Perfect. Spice grinding. Crushing ice in the jug. Whipping cream, egg whites and creaming butter with the whisk? No sweat. And then everything goes in the dishwasher. What more could anyone want from a small appliance? It replaced a ten year old hand blender that was top of the line then, but no longer had the power or accessories to do everything I wanted. Yep, expensive, but their own site matches the coupon from BBB. Use: I appreciate the safety button since the power button is so easy to use - even with arthritic hands. As powerful as advertised, it makes quick work of anything, and the extending blade is amazing. Love the click-on/off for accessories, and LOVE the ability to change speeds without having to pause and turn a dial! Accessories: definitely NOT too many if you really cook, and I do. The jug makes the best, smoothest smoothies I've ever had after a workout, with lots of frozen fruit chunks. Like soft serve ice-cream. No more getting out the Breville just for one. Made my best batch of mayo ever in the clear container in under 2 minutes; I timed it. Grinding nuts or onion or whatever in the small chopper? A breeze. Mixing up a small dough, or salsa, or shredding/grating small amounts of cheese in the processor is great, and it makes a mean pesto. The masher. Ah, the masher. I make buttermilk biscuits or pie crust often, and hate getting out the 14-cup cuisinart just for six biscuits. Would the masher work instead? Like a dream. Put bowl on scale. Weigh out everything, no measuring cups. Put in cold fat. Mash. Under 2 minutes, perfectly done. And the plastic blade pops off for easy cleaning. Drizzle in my buttermilk/sour cream mix (secret to the best biscuits ever), toss with a fork, knead in the bowl, and done. One fork and bowl to clean. Whisk: powerful and easy to use. I whipped up cream and homemade whipped cream cheese, which I like but refuse to buy. Pay more for air? Thanks, but no thanks. I made 8 oz for $1.29 with Aldi's cream cheese, and it's still creamy. Warranty: They mean business. The main processor blade didn't quite fit right. It worked, but I had concerns. Called, they found my order number, had me send a picture, and sent me a replacement immediately, no charge. I had it in 5 days. Fits perfectly. The warranty is for two years, extended by a third year when charged to MC, and covers absolutely everything. It's so well designed and made, that I'm sure I'll get another decade from it. Conclusion: my motto is that a cook is only as good as her tools. They don't have to be fancy or even pretty, but you can never go wrong saving to buy the best one of its kind when you can. This meets the criteria, and bonus: I love using it, each and every part. Glad I got the entire set, because the individual parts like jug and processor are $$$ on their own. Hope this is helpful to any cook reading this still on the fence. Buy it!

This is an amazing addition to our kitchen! If you do vegan, raw, or paleo this is a must have. We love it! We even use all of the attatchments, especially the processor, it shreds onions to nothing in seconds (I despise onions so this is great for hiding them and still getting their nutritional value).

After reading the reviews, I bought my unit from Gandhi Appliances, llc, as I needed a 220V unit. I am very happy with it. It arrived in perfect condition with all the pieces intact. It is an excellent hand blender with perfect accessories. I am very pleased with my buy and would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for hand blenders.

Braun MQ9037 Multiquick 9. I’ve had this about a week, and it is exactly what I was looking for. So far, I’ve only used the blender accessory, I haven’t had a chance to use the masher or the food processor accessory, but I have no doubt they will work just as well. . It blends beautifully and cleans up flawlessly. The previous immersion blender I had, I ended up having to throw away, because I couldn’t clean it thoroughly. This one comes 100% clean- no nooks or crannies to trap food particles. I also love that you can make a smoothie without having to add excess water or juice. Just put your fruit in the cup and blend it into a nice thick drink. I mainly bought it so that I could use it to blend my homemade kefir with frozen fruit. Works perfectly for that, too.
