I haven't had a new blender in a few years and they have really amped up their quality. Braun has really outdone theirselves with a great quality blender. I love the simple touch of a button it knows exactly how long to blend. I pressed the smoothie button for oranges,pinapple, orange and ice and it came out perfect! Old days there were still chunks of ice but with Braun it was a smooth juice! It was easy to clean and easy to attach and detach. I look forward to many more recipes! I have used my Braun PureMix Blender several times and have amazing results each time! I love that it is a thermal resistant glass jug that allows me to blend both cold and hot items! I have made a bunch of fruit and vegetable smoothies and they blend perfectly! The blender quickly blends the fruits and vegetables and crushes the ice perfectly. It's a very powerful blender! I really like that there is an attached measuring cap in the lid! It's so fun and easy to use! It's so convenient being able to wash all parts of the glass jug in the dishwasher and being able to easily wipe clean the panel! The instructions manual comes with alot of useful information and has some awesome recipes in it too! I'm beyond satisfied with my Braun PureMix Power Blender! This blender looks sleek, performs great and is well made. The glass pitcher is thick and heavy. I had no issues with actual blending. I did however accidentally unscrewed the bottom while it was full! The pitcher lifts straight up from base-- no twisting like my previous blenders. The base buttons are simple and easy to use. It has preset modes which make things so easy. It is a little loud but that's to be expected. The measuring cup in the lid is a nice touch. Overall I like it, I just wish the base of the pitcher locked on to prevent accidental twisting mishaps.

This blender is hands down the most powerful one Ive ever used. Other blenders Ive had in the past would leave chunks of food at the bottom and would take forever to break up the food in general. This one is easy to use, 1000 wayt, easy clean up and designed in a way to make it very effecient. I would highly recommend.

I received this product as a member of the walmart spark reviewer program. I have to say that this blender is probably as close to or possibly exactly what is used in industrial shops. The jug is made with a thick glass making the durability as sturdiness very high. The base is comprised of aluminum and plastic based material and the function buttons are nice, subtle, and user friendly. The top cap fits on the glass jug very snug and has an opening for the addition of ingredients that alleviated the need to constantly take of the lid. The jug can be separated into 3 pieces for cleaning. The base twists off then you have further remove the blade component. The blade is also made of strong steel and is shape like similar high end products. The only issue i faced was the ring and the base of the jug after detachment. This portion seems to be slightly insecure so be careful during cleaning so as not the drop it (you dont want it to get dirty) or lose it. The power of the blender is no joke and is better or equivalent to my current ninja blender. It chops ice like its nothing. I highly recommend.

Overall, I was not very impressed with the Braun PureMix Countertop Power Blender. I love the black and silver color of it – it looks great with my other countertop appliances. I think it worked fairly well at crushing ice for a frozen drink – but it made a lot of crunching noise, and then just hummed like it wasn't doing anything, so I wasn't sure if it was actually done crushing the ice or if it was overheating. When I turned it off, it seemed like it had crushed the ice just fine – so it may just work better than one that I'm used to. However, what I really don't like about this blender is the lid – and maybe I'm just overlooking something. I don't like that the lid sits inside the blender – I prefer the lids that snap over the top of the blender. But more importantly, the measuring item inside the lid that just sits there has a small hole in it and maybe I put it in correctly, but when the blender was running, I had very small amounts of the liquid that flew out of that hole several times! If I did something wrong, then that's my fault – but if not, I really don't like the design of that lid at all! I wasn't a fan of how the buttons operated the blender either – and the manual wasn't super helpful in figuring out what they meant.

This blender chops ingredients for sauces, and smoothies quickly and efficiently. The glass pitcher being thermal, can handle warm or cold liquids with no trouble. The pitcher is also dishwasher safe.
There is an ability to choose the speed needed to monitor the blending process for the wanted consistency for whatever is being mixed. The design is compact and doesn't take up much space on the counter. Another feature that I like, is that the lid stays in place and there is no leaking.
The blender that this one replaced would leak when making smoothies. It is nice to not have to worry about leaking with this blender. The Braun blender automatically senses the contents in the pitcher, and maintains the needed speed to blend oranges and other fruits and nuts.

I have a Ninja Pro blender and after using this one. I like this one alot more. This is heavier but seems alot more sturdy to be honest. I really like the solid resistant thermal glass pitcher. Its very easy to clean and to set up out of the box took me about 2 minutes tops. One thing to remember is that if the light are not blinking green when you're ready to blend. You don't have the pitcher on right. Just a fyi ! I make alot of homemade salsa and smoothies also Daiquiris. And this blends perfectly.
This blender compared to my Ninja looks more huge end . I do recommend this.
