Coffee is great. But red lite stays on all the time. Is this ok or do I have to unplug it after use?

It's a good brewer for your money my biggest problem is it's very noisy.

This coffee pot leaves much to be desired. It was next to impossible to remove the plastic tray which holds the K cup making it all set for breakage in the near future. It doesn't have an automatic shut-off which means I unplug after use. Really? It was hard to determine a big cup over a small cup of coffee because the light up buttons are not clear. I returned said pot and afterwards noticed I was not credited the sales tax on my credit receipt I still like you but not the pot.

I used the coffeemaker with my own grounds at first. When I went to use a K-cup, I found that the part needed to puncture the K-cup had not been included! I contacted the Brentwood who ignored my email. So now I have to puncture the K-cups by hand and use the reusuable filter.
