This is a really good coffee maker! It is our 3rd one during our 40 plus year marriage. Coffee is ready in 3 minutes and because of the thermal pot and no warmer to cook it to death, continues to stay hot for at least 2 hours and has great flavor. Our last Bunn lasted at least 8 years and that was with use every day.

Was very excited to purchase this coffee maker and use it for my holiday party. Complete disaster!! Made a pot according to the Bunn directions and coffee bubbled and spilled all out of the plastic filter casing. Tried brewing several times days later with even different types of grinds, even though the original grind was done for the appropriate brewing method.

We have used Bunn Coffee Makers for 8-10 years. We wear them out. Always a great cup of coffee delivered fast. You do have to clean it once in awhile. Especially if you have hard water like us. Recently, we tried the Keurig Coffee System after hearing all the reviews from Coworkers. Honestly, we just bought our second Bunn Thermal Carafe as we prefer the taste over the Keurig. We even found the Keurig method to waste coffee and here is why. The K-cup filter uses 1 tablespoon (approx., if the little coffee spoon is a tablespoon) per cup of coffee. The Bunn uses 4 tablespoons (the same measuring device) per 10 cups of coffee. We found that we were going through a 2lb can of Folgers 100% Columbian much faster than when we used the Bunn. We liked the taste better as well. Don't get us wrong, the Keurig works very well. We decided to keep it as a hot water dispenser for tea and cocoa. We rated the Bunn 4 out of 5 for value as they are a bit pricey compared to other models and would give it a 5 if they dropped the price 30 bucks! lol

I have gone through 5 Mr Coffee thermo pots in the last couple of years. They are terrible. The coffee doesn't stay hot, water runs all over the counter from who knows where, and they stop working after only 6 months. The Bunn thermo pot makes super hot coffee, and it stays hot all day. It is easier to use because you don't have to take anything out to fill the water, just fill the pot with water, pour it into the water reservoir, put the pot under the grounds, and shut the water reservoir top down, and you have wonderful coffee in less than 3 minutes. This is the greatest pot ever!!!

I researched many different coffee makers before settling on this Bunn. When trudging through many user reviews I noticed that with all other coffee makers I was consistently finding negative reviews. Meanwhile, I found nothing but praise for this particular Bunn coffee maker. I am very pleased with this machine. It brews a carafe of coffee in 3 to 4 minutes and it stays hot and delicious for hours. I admire Bunn for creating great products and standing behind them. Although this was a pricey coffee maker, I feel that the purchase was well worth it. I recommend this to anyone on the fence about what coffee maker to get.

I bought this for my husband. Ordered it online. Needed filters, so I ordered Commercial ones since this was a commercial style brewer. Never seeing one in person I had no idea that this was not really a commercial brewer. Had to return the filters due to wrong size. Fortunately, there was a small pack of filters included with the pot. Otherwise my husband is extremely pleased in the speed that he gets hot coffee. Initial start-up was easy, but the unit didn't hold the 2 carafes full as the literature stated. The thermal carafe is something that he really likes. No stale coffee being reheated on a warmer. Using coffee beans that we grind ourself has been a learning curve for him; wanting to avoid coffee being too weak, he has been trying out various amounts and varying the consistency of his grinds. Has it down to an art in about 1 week. Unlike some other reviewers, we haven't had any trouble with spillovers from our machine. Coffee has never been bitter, no matter how strong or weak it is made. He's thinking of purchasing another one for his garage. Definitely a thumbs up!

This is our 3rd Bunn in just over 15 years. It's a great coffee maker. Our main priority was not wanting to wait a long time for our first morning cup of coffee. This coffee maker delivers in under 3 minutes. It makes really good coffee. My husband is a coffee snob in the sense that he can immediately taste if coffee has been sitting for more than 30 minutes. The insulated thermos keeps the coffee hot for a very long time without turning it bitter. We love strong coffee so we use a lot of grounds per pot. Some people have complained that the grounds end up in their coffee cups. We do find times when the grounds are pushed to the sides of the grounds basket and up over the filter, but we have never had an issue with the grounds being in our cups. Some people have mentioned dripping or leaking, but we have never had this issue. It looks sleek on the countertop. Can't complain for a reasonably priced home appliance that we use daily.

This is my second Bunn thermal coffeemaker as the bottom of the water reservoir went out on my first unit after 6-7 years of daily use. This is one of the few coffeemakers with a 3 year warranty but they last much longer. The thermal pot keeps the coffee fresh and hot to the last drop. This unit has a different shaped pot and the last few swallows do not all pour out compared to my previous model.

I loved the idea of this Bunn, I always have a Bunn coffeemaker, I gave my old one away, I wish I still had it as I am tired of cold coffee. Of course it is hot when first made and taste good like all Bunn coffeeakers make a good cup of coffee, but within a short while the coffee is not hot. If you love hot coffee do not buy this one! I keep it only because it was so expensive. I wish I had bought the one with a warming plate. This one is not good for the money, it is terrible

I must say this is a very good coffee maker. It is the second one that I've had. I have never had a problem with it. I'm sure it will be as good as the last one which lasted almost 7 years with no problems. It's nice that it has no burner and it is not a glass carafe. Perfect for anyone with small children around because less chance of getting hurt. I would recommend this investment to anyone. It's in my opinion the best Bunn coffee maker that there is.
