I expected more considering the pricepoint of this coffeemaker.
There is a solid plastic disc in the bottom of washable/reusable filter basket. I presume this is to keep grounds saturated longer to improve taste? I haven't been able to get a strong, tasty cup of coffee from this machine. I grind fresh coffee beans. I plan to try paper filters. LCD digital clock is pointless unless using the timer. The clock is too dark under normal lighting.
Otherwise, looks nice and no spillage when pouring from carafe.

Money for Quality. Easy to use features. Auto shut off for safety. Wide mouth on pot for easy cleaning. Could have a "cone" shaped basket.
