Even after thorough washing, paint was coming off, the many holes in the grinder have some kind of coating on it that came off on the food. The directions were not thorough.

Be careful what you buy from Chard. They don't package the boxes with all the parts. Just got my package and the blade is missing. Just emailed them and now waiting for a response. Tried to call them but they don't answer. I expected a little better professionalism.

Put it together and it works great just put blades on correctly. If it doesn't work, flip blades. I love this machine.

Easy to use, easy to break down for cleaning. QUIET! No loud electric motor! The only thing I don't like is that it's made in China. I like to support American products.

Not happy with this purchase. The metal is very poor quality. After using only once it rusted even though I hand washed and hand dried it. Would definitely not recommend! Not worth the money!

I can't give it less than one star or I would started to put it together when I received it and got aluminum shavings all over the place because that is what it is made from not cast iron like stated then I tried to get the handle back off the unit witch broke off

Used this to grind stew beef and vegetables for a specific dish and it did not perform as well as older hand grinder I've used before. Just not a well machined product.

I paid $27.99, not $16.52. This meat grinder I received had a rough surface that would have chipped off in my food eventually. The unit had various cracks and chips around it. It looked like something that may have been in someone's garage since 1940 or a 12 year old make it in school as a class project. Just to imagine. I threw it away in the trash. If what they sent me cost $16.52 and I paid $27.99 I want the difference refunded. The picture has a nice finish on it.

This little grinder is just perfect for making ham salad hamburger,turkey burgers it grinds up meat extreamly well.As with all manual grinders it takes efford to make it work and remember that different meats make for different amounts of efford needed.Please be carfull and use a wooden or plastic spoon to push down the meat so not to remove your finger tips while feeding meat into it.

It's a good buy..I would recommend it to any one. Lost one star because it didn't come with assembly instructions...but all in all really good product
