It will grind meat faster than you can feed the hopper. Ground up 150 lbs of turkey so far, very happy with my purchase.

I purchased as a Christmas gift as my mother had been wanting a meat grinder for some time now. I am assuming she really enjoys her gift because she has made many recipes. Homemade chorizo to grinding her own meat for meatball soup and homemade meat sauce for spaghetti to name a few. If you are indecisive as to which one to choose, I highly recommend this one. Not too too big but definitely does what it is supposed to and with very little effort since you do not have to manually work it. It was delivered straight to my house and putting it together was pretty easy. Taking it apart for cleaning is also pretty easy. You will not be dissappointed.

I wish I can give this product zero stars, it broke down on the second use. I tried contacting the seller but they don’t have any information. I don’t recommend this product. 110$ worth of garbage.

The plunger is too small and the meat squishes back up the feeder. The hopper doesn't secure in place so it was easier to take it off and stuff meat in that way. I was making sausage and it fed soooooo slow even pushing down with all my weight. After running this, it got super hot too and each time I turned it off the motor made a funny noise like it was dying already. Don't waste money on this. Not sure how easy it is to clean since I threw it out after the first use.

Shabby affair. Very noisy. Is working with lightning speed, but no matter how strongly you turn fastening knob on head, it starts to bobbing up and down threatening to fall of- calibration is enclosing this fastening knob. Activation buttons are not working when you normally press them. You have to press very strongly and hold for a while- very strange. Measurements of plates 2 7/16" (diameter) 3/16" thickness; 7mm center hole are nowhere to find if you wish to buy other then what they send you.

Much better than I expected for the price. We have used it twice and we were amazed both times at how quick it ground the venison and bacon. Great little machine unless you are a buthcher.

Used once. Washed unit first - and still ruined my meat with whatever coating is on the blades or barrel. Moreover, Washing the unit after use - the unit rusted over night. This was pretty amazing. Spotty patches of rust everywhere in ONE day! Crazy - buy elsewhere.

This little unit hasn't let me down yet! Compact size and easy to store. Strong motor and performs perfectly. So far i have used it to process a 350 lb hog into sausage, and several smaller batches of sasuage. Easy to clean. Great product for the price.

I really like this grinder, but after just a few uses, I got a lot of aluminum in the meat and had to throw away $45 worth of nice grassfed beef. So sad. Turns out the issue was the small split o-ring that holds the 3 washers in place fell out of its groove and started grinding on the end of the auger shaft which resulted in metal bits coming into the meat. Customer service was terrible (Costway) didn't answer emails or phone until finally a few days after the warranty was up, they answered the phone and said, oh sorry about that. . . toooo bad for you. So I ended up just removing that split ring and filed down the scuffed up areas and now it works well again. If I bought it again, I would just remove that ring right off the bat to avoid the issue. Just write down the order of the 3 washers in case you forget how they go on (plastic one first, then the 2 metal ones).

I rated it at four stars only because we have only used it once. It worked great grinding Chuck roast into hamburger. We washed it and put a light coat of olive oil on the parts to help keep any rust away.

This grinder only needed half speed to grind 15 pounds of venison in about 10 minutes (as fast as I could load it). I HIGHLY recommend this product. The only drawback for me is that the parts are not dishwasher safe, but that is the norm when it comes to grinder parts. You'll have to step up to hardcore commercial grade stuff to get that. I love this grinder and I'm confident it will serve it's purpose very well for several years. :)

The grinder is an excellent value. It seems to work well. We thought we had a problem with a piece missing and customer service was excellent.
IN FACT, everything was there. We just overlooked the piece.
We are quite satisfied and have owned grinders that were more $$ and were no nicer than this one.

Bought this after our last grinder bit the dust. We have 2 savannah cats that eat nothing but fresh chicken ( Just remember- when it says don't grind bones it means DON'T grind bones!)

My cat has cancer and my dog is on a barf diet so a good grinder is a must ! This grinder does a good job of grinding everything even bone unfortunately it was made with plates that are not aluminum like the other metal parts and so they rust very very quickly this is what they look like after only a few uses ... I cat make food knowing that it will be full of rust ..

For 60 dollars your not going to be disappointed with this grinder I use it for making raw dog food. I ground up a beef toung a round roast and chicken leg quarters bone and all like a hot knife through butter. It has plenty of power and it never got jammed up. I haven't tried turkey parts yet but I'm sure it will handle that to. I also put through necks and organ meat and fruits and vegetables with no problems.

What impressed me a lot is not only the fast delivery of this machine but also it’s wonderful quality. All the mental parts look great and operate well also. Now, this is my first ever meat grinder....so kinda exciting. I was VERY pleased with how easy it was to set up and run! It did just the trick- and fun to use. Clean up was a breeze (thumb up). It is a little on the noisy side? but perhaps they all are...just turn the stereo up louder!! Either way- I would recommend it to my family or friends. I will see how its longevity is, but no issues with broken parts or not performing as I expected.
