I have had this cooler for at least 20 years and couldn't do without it. We have only replaced the cords once and that was all. I travel from RI to Fl and use it to save on foods, condiments etc and make sure I have things for when I arrive and don't have to run to the market right away. At one time they made a smaller one for a 6 pack of soda that I bought for someone to keep their lunch in and keep things cold with ice. I would love to get another one but don't think Coleman makes them anymore.

...Hello there!!! This is my 4th puchase of the Power Chill! I have (1) that is a 'Hot/Cold' and (3) 'Cold'!!!!! These coolers meet my needs perfectly!! I bought (2) extra power supplies because I have one cooler/supply that quit on me. That cooler ran 24-7 at my Fish Camp for over 18 months. Just a note: Read the labels on the cooler cooling unit. It say defrost 'Frequently'.... if you hear the 'Fan' ticking or sounding goofy.... unplug the cooker for about 45 minutes...it will defrost!!! This is a great item and super $Value$!!! Semper Fi! Godspeed!! I highly recommend!!! <')\\\\\><

Using it standing up or on its side, there's plenty of room for all your essentials to stay cold during the drive and at your destination for your entire trip. The motor is not loud and no need to keep buying ice every other day. You really need to get the adapter too so that you can plug it in when you get to your destination, as it only comes with the cable to connect to your 12V car plug. The unique thing about this cooler is that you can change the door to open it from the other direction if you want it to. The only thing lacking is the ability to carry it easily when it is in the standing up position. The handgrips it has are for carrying it in the side position. Really a must-have to compliment your essentials for camping, RVing, boating, etc.

I keep this cooler in the car so that when I buy groceries they will stay cold until I get them home That makes cold cuts and milk especially last a lot longer
