Great for what I purchased it for - to make ice and cut down on purchasing bags of ice since my refrig's icemaker stopped working. It is kind of loud, but if you don't sleep in the kitchen (or whatever room you put the machine in) it will never bother you.

am returning this. makes a few small (even the 'large' cubes are small) ice cubes after about 10 minutes and then a few more after another 5 or 10 minutes, ridiculous use of electricity and filtered water, waste of a whole lot of money!

I waited the prescribed time for stabilization and started it up and it worked fine and fast I bought it for use in my camper and am sure it will do the trick.

Ordered this machine because it was self cleaning and at a reasonable price than any of the other self cleaning ice makers i found. So far this machine has done all it says it will do, it is a bit loud when making ice, but for me that is okay, the noise assures me that its working properly. Its very attractive and goes well with my other kitchen appliances. It arrived 2 days earlier than estimated it would. I did let it sit for 12 hours or longer before using (as recommended) once i unpacked it because i wasn't sure if it had been kept upright or not during transport and delivery, so far its doing fine. I would recommend this product to others who are looking for this type and size of appliance. However, i did notice that the large size ice is actually smaller than most other machines, but for my use it works out well. I have given this appliance 5 stars for its appearance and operation. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Makes great ice! Very attractive to the eye while in the counter. Can be a bit loud when making the ice but once full machine is very quite. Only thing I would change is possibly brightness of the led indecateors they can be very bright at night.
