I am learning how to use it and for what to use it. So far I use to keep food warm when we have family gatherings. I have made lasagna in it. There is a learning curve with it.

I was cooking dinner and after it being on low for about hours I came downstairs and found the lid shattered! The handle and claps came off. I don't understand how this happened! I have several different shapped and sized crock pots. I love cooking in them. This has never happend to me before!

This is the Crock Pot that I have needed for years!!! It is great for making an all-in-one casserole dish and cleans like a dream. I made scalloped potatoes with pork chops and the meat was fork tender while the potatoes were creamy and delicious. I plan to use this for many different recipes -- from entrees to dessert -- lava cakes, anyone???

I was so excited when I found out that I won a casserole crock-pot and received it in the mail a few weeks later. I'm not much of a cook and I haven't ever made a casserole so receiving this product gave me the opportunity. I made a breakfast casserole and it turned out wonderful. I was able to transport it to work and share with everyone. I love the sealed tight locking lid. It was very easy to transport and easy to clean. Not to mention how nice it looks. The size is perfect for making enough food for our family and is not too large to find a storage place! I have mine sitting on the counter because I love the black and white design! It is perfect for a busy family like mine!

I love this casserole CrockPot. It's not deep, but it is wide and it's perfect for casseroles. I do meals in this CrockPot at least five days out of the week. It even has a "warm" selection in case my husband comes home a little late from work. Highly recommend.

I know there are other colors available for this at other places, but this red and white is gorgeous. The quality is there and the performance is excellent. I have cooked 1 cake and 1 pan of brownies and it did a good job. The edges were fine except, as with many slow cookers, the area by the cord seems to get hotter, so I remember to turn the insert halfway through the cooking time. I will be making savory casseroles soon and I am sure it will meet my expectations while keeping my kitchen during the hot summer. The insert is not lightweight since it is stoneware but it also can go in a regular oven. I would purchase again.

My review is based on receiving, handling and inspecting my new crock pot. I have not had time to use it yet. The unit is heavy enough to travel well, which is important to me. It appears to be securely build and the locking lid is a big plus in my opinion. We do a lot of pot lucks and I am so anxious to try it out.
The cook book enclosed was good, with that being said, I was surprised at the required cook time. Will test that out for my self.
So proud to add this to my kitchen!

I've only had the opportunity to use it twice but it has worked fine both times. I was impressed with how long food stayed warm after the unit was unplugged.
Dish is removable and easy to clean. Lid is a little more difficult to clean because of the lid clamps.
Good option if you'd like a bare minimum slow cooker for cheap. Build quality seems alright, but lid clamps and handles are plastic; it doesn't feel like it'll last a lifetime.

Works great for casseroles, has plenty of room for all ingredients. Really like that I can either use as a crock pot to cook all day, or when in a hurry can make the casserole in the ovenproof dish and then keep warm in the crock pot unit. I did find the whole unit a little large and heavy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
