We have used crockpot branded products for years and have always loved them. We were really excited about this product because it came with more options then just a dial that just said low, medium, high. This one actually let you choose the length is time something cooked for. It also let you see where the food was I. The cooking process by letting you see the temperature of the food inside the pot. The only issue I had is on Theo there is a small hole that had a silicone ring in the hole and the ring came off while washing and I wasn't able to get it back on. I did call the customer service and was told it was t a big deal and would y effect my cooking. I e had this crockpot for about 4 years now and still love it. During the winter we use it about once a week and it's still going strong.

So for some strange reason the little rubber thing on the lid came off.. I'm hoping it didn't fall in the food I was cooking.. so I do need another one...

I was really looking forward to this Crock-Pot, especially since it had the travel setting to keep it warm, but I ended up returning it and getting the i-Stir version instead. You only have two options for times - 4 or 6 hours. I needed 3, and I often use 5 and other times. There is no setting where you can cook it for a certain time. It's just like any of the other models, otherwise - same locking lid.

Love the timer function. Great for when you work 8 hours and with traveling time, whatever is in the slow cooker tends to overcook because it's in there for longer than the recipe calls for. The only thing I don't like is that the metal hooks that hold the lid in place are very loose and fall out constantly. They do not fit in the black slots they are intended to fit in unlike my previous Crock Pot where they were a nice tight fit. These fall out constantly when you tip the lid, as you lift the lid, when you are cleaning the lid, etc. I've always the original Crock Pot, which is why I came to your website to order when I wanted one with timer function.

While I've always been impressed with Wal-Mart purchases, the 6 quart programmable slow cooker is awesome! The directions were user-friendly. I experimented with various settings, and found them to be exactly as described. The meat has been tender, the vegetables firm but not crunchy, and the timer allows settings for hours and minutes which I've yet to see on others. Highly recommend! P.S. After purchasing, Wal-Mart found the cooker at a lower price elsewhere, and they credited me the difference. GO WAL-MART!

I love this new tool! I've had one from the 80s and didn't want to change up because I heard so many problems with inaccurate cooking heat and cleaning issues but so far nothing at all. I cook enough for two, even three meals and the warm feature is really handy. Being able to lock the lid during traveling is a big stress reliever and it has a cord wrap as well. The lid has a double lip along the seal so you need to be sure to clean in between if any sauce gets slopped in there but other than that cleaning was a breeze. I put the stone bowl the dishwasher and it came out just perfect. Wish I had gotten one a long time ago!

I have owned Crock Pot brand for years and never had a problem. This is no exception. The only problem I have with this one is the timer. It will not let you set the actual time but I can work with that. I had an occasion to call customer service on this item and they were very responsive and helpful but beware if your looking for a true 6 qt. crock this is only 5 qt. They use the actual heating container for capacity so if you want a true 6 qt. buy the 7 qt. This is a keeper.

I've only made two things so far and both came out good. It cooks nicely and doesn't get too hot. The only thing I don't like about it is the timer - you have to set it for either 4 or 6 hours on high or 8 to 10 hours on low - you can't just let it cook for as long as you'd like. Even with the timer issue, I'd still buy this Crock Pot again. It's very nice looking, it's easy to clean and so far, it's doing a great job of cooking.

I have had several brands of slow cookers. I bought myself a Crock Pot brand and will never buy any other brand. I like the locking lid feature. It also cooks uniformlly and once on warm does not continue to cook food as other brands do. Just wish I had the last one I bought for a gift was available when I bought mine!!! The digital timer and other auto features, plus the warming stone would be ideal to own. I have some of my family up for supper at least once a week and use the crock pot at least twice a week. Put the food in and not worry about it!!! Also the meats are tender not overcooked and tough as I have happened with another brand.
