Love the large handle! I feel it is safer and sturdier. I haven't dropped it once which is a record for me. We will just have to see how it holds up after repeated use. I would recommend it. And I wish they made one for the 7 quart crock pot.

So Rival stopped making lids for their 6 quart Crock-Pot. I have 2 of these, and both of them lost the handles for the lid. I was able to replace one handle, but the other lid was not salvageable. Little did I know that Rival doesn't make lids for these anymore! They actually recommend just buying a new Crock-Pot! No, thank you, marketing. I did a ton of searching and came across this lid. According to its measurements (12 1/4" x 9 5/8"), it seemed like it would fit my Rival, and I thought it was worth checking out. Well, it did fit! Don't give up on your broken lid 6 quart crock pots! When comparing it to my old lid, it was maybe 1/8" shorter in the long direction, but still fits fine on the pot. Pros: -Packaged nicely -Handle seems strong -Has a rubber pad/bubble to rest on the pot (less clicking when your crock pot starts releasing air bubbles!), that was probably made to create a seal with the HB Stay or Go. -Saved my Rival Crock-Pot Neutrals -It has clips on the handle where the Hamilton Beach Stay or Go would fasten onto the lid. These are not useful to me, but are not a problem. Cons -None
