Pop healthier popcorn with hot air! The Cuisinart EasyPop Hot Air Popcorn Maker is exceptionally easy to use. Kernels go into a popping chamber – no oil is required – and hot air sends up to 10 cups of popcorn up and out the chute right into a waiting bowl. And it all happens in less than 3 minutes! Just add kernels - no oil necessary - to make up to 15 cups of crisp, delicious oil-free popcorn in less than 3 minutes. No additives makes homemade popcorn a tasty and healthy alternative to microwave popcorn. The popping chute sends popped corn right into the waiting bowl. It stays fresh and crunchy, just the way popcorn should be. Melt the butter in the cup in the top of the popping chute while popcorn is popping, and then pour it on. When corn is finished popping, simply remove the popping chute and put it into the dishwasher. The flavor possibilities for popcorn are endless. Just add melted butter and your favorite seasonings to a bowl of popcorn. With toppings added, popped popcorn will become much crisper and the flavors become more intense if it is heated with toppings in a 300 degree F oven for about 15 to 20 minutes before serving. For best results, heat it on a baking sheet lined with foil and coated with nonstick cooking spray. The amount of seasoning depends on the intensity of the ingredients you are using – it is important to let your taste be your guide. Use olive oil for a little richer flavor, or grapeseed oil, which imparts no flavor at all to popcorn.

This popcorn popper is pretty cool looking and I love the on/off switch on the side. The plastic removable top is very thin plastic and the popper still spits out many unpopped kernels before actually popping. The air chamber seems almost too short. I'm going to experiment with different types of kernels to see if that helps the unpopped situation.

This popcorn machine is so easy to use and clean. It makes a large mixing bowl of popcorn in about 3 - 4 minutes. My boys love watching the popcorn pop through the top of the machine. It's fun for them and the popcorn tastes less greasy than movie theatre popcorn.

We couldn't wait to receive this and it came fast but even a day without air popped popcorn is a long time for me! We were very picky about this popper. I read all the reviews and made sure it was top rated. After we got it it makes amazing popcorn and very nearly all popcorn kernels are popped. The popcorn is delicious. I almost forgot we love that this popper has a on and off button. I like that much better than just a plug in and unplug!

Overall excellent popcorn maker. Some kernels don't pop and shoot out uncooked, but it's minimal. Don't expect it to last forever. My first one lasted about 3 years, then the motor burned out. Nothing lasts forever.

I was expecting this item to be great but unfortunately it isn't. I have been using an air popper over the years that my parents bought when I was a child (more than 20 years ago) and I was expecting this item to be better. You have to allow the machine to completely cool off before adding more than the 1/2 cup of kernels otherwise it will burn. You also have to be careful because the air pushes up through the middle and causes completely unpopped/unheated kernels to just come shooting out. This doesn't work for me especially when the kids are having movie night and have to wait to get popcorn for everyone or share until more can be made. I do like the power switch option as that is different from my old one but I will be storing this item until my 20 year old one dies and I have to shop for a replacement.

I love popcorn, so I was really excited after reviewing multiple hot air corn poppers and decided on the Cuisinart. I chose (because of the ratings) the Cuisinart EasyPop Hot Air Popper. When I received the popper, I took it into my kitchen and unboxed it. That evening I was excited when I got out the popcorn, the butter, and a bowl. I carefully read the instructions with the popper, then measured out the correct amount of popcorn and placed it into the popper. I then placed my bowl in front of the popper and turned the machine on. It really does heat up quit fast. Believe me when I say you do not want to place your hand anywhere near the front opening as it is very hot. Within just a few short seconds the force of the air was lifting up the unpopped kernels and tossing them out of the front of the popper into the bowl (unpopped). I started scooping them up and tossing them back into the bowl but after awhile that became difficult because they became so hot. I ended up getting a spoon and picked up the kernels with the spoon and tossed them back into the popper with the spoon. After a few minutes the corn started to pop but there was more unpopped kernels in the bowl than there was popped. I went through a lot of popping corn because a lot of it just seemed to get roasted and turned from white to brown but didn't pop. I am so very disappointed that it didn't work as advertised. I tried without success several times, but it always turned out the same way as the first time. No, I am going to return it and get myself a kettle popper that stirs the popcorn while it pops. Hopefully I will have success with it.

We like the extra capacity this popper can handle without shutting of as well as the even and efficient popping process. We also like the off and on switch and this is a better machine than the one we are now discarding.
