What differentiates this slow cooker from anything else I've been able to find is having a choice of four different cooking temperatures. Slow cookers of the last few years are notorious for running "hot". The 3.5 quart slow cookers is perfect.

Had same model for years so when it died bought it again. Excellent slow cooker, only have made Beef Stroganoff but performed flawlessly.

I only cook single meal dinners and this 3.5 Qt. slow cooker is a great replacement for my previous 6 Qt. cooker. This Cuisinart lives up to its good reputation , it not only cooks the food to my expectations but you could also set it to high or low and hours to be cooked, and it would automatically switch to warm mode after the hours set have elapsed.

It would be five stars if it had all four of the rubber feet on the bottom. I called customer support and they said the only way to get the missing foot was to return the entire slow cooker and have them ship another one. I could not just get the little rubber foot. I contacted two different parts places and they said the only parts that are available are the crock and the lid. So I just taped a little piece of cardstock to the bottom of it works good now and sets level does not rock.

Purchased to make a mini meatball appetizer recipe for a party, and was happy that it held 100 mini meatballs with sauce. Initially thought it would be too small, but just the perfect size. And the heat was very even throughout the pot. Cuisinart products continue to meet all my expectations!

My slow cooker that we received for our wedding 32 yrs ago finally bit the dust. We have a larger one but sometimes we just don't need one that big. I found this one for a really great price and it has been great! Have used it several times and it is just what I was looking for.

This is a really nice slow cooker! I love the 4 different temperature settings and that you can cook on low without it being boiling hot, unlike most others. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I received an imperfect crock. The ceramic insert I received has a few bad spots in the coating and/or pot itself. I'm concerned about it failing over time, but so far it's holding up. This unit was bought to replace a broken crock insert since it was almost as expensive to buy just the replacement insert. The insert in the first one was perfect, so I'm really bummed I received an imperfect one the second time, but didn't feel like going through the process to return it and order another one so I'm hoping it lasts. The first one was accidentally broken, it did not break because of anything wrong with it.

This is my first Cuisinart slow cooker. It is well worth the price...it performs amazingly. It can be programmed on low, simmer or high and once the cooking time is finished automatically switches to warm. My last slow cooker was a cheaper model and the lid didn't fit properly and on low it tended to have hot spots in the food. This Cuisinart cooker has neither of these problems and I'm totally pleased with my purchase.
