A seamless blend of digital technology and state of the art design makes this one of the most intuitive and versatile toasters on the market today. The Touch to Toast Leverless Cuisinart 2-Slice Toaster brings digital technology and elegant design to your home and delivers performance with powerful features such as digital interface, leverless lift, and count down timer. Clean up is easy with the removable crumb tray. It even has a cord wrap underneath the unit to manage unsightly power cords while not in use.

Bagel Setting heats the upper half of the bagel only for a crispy top and a soft, chewy bottom...the way a bagel should be! If you enjoy a bagel that is crispy on both sides, no need to engage the bagel button. Just toast it like you would a normal piece of bread without pressing the bagel button.

Countdown timer indicates when your toast will be ready. Shade control setting offers a full range of browning options to allow perfect customization of any piece of bread.

Motorized lift activates with one touch of the toast button. The motor quietly and securely lowers the bread into the toasting chamber. When the toasting cycle is complete, a ready beep sounds and the motorized lift raises the bread high above the housing for easy reach access to your toast! The defrost setting is designed to first defrost and then toast your bread, which extends the toasting cycle slightly.

It is an awesome toaster. Happy with my purchase. Only thing when I order it the first time it didn't come well packed so when I received the toaster it had a dent. But I order another one because my friend has the 4 slices and she loves her toaster. Again, It wasn't packed correctly but this time it didn't have a dent.

Finally a toaster that evenly toasts all bread products! We replaced our four slice cuisinart toaster after many years. We have downsized along with our toaster. Very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent toaster. It does as it states. Push the button to toast and it lowers and it pops up when complete. Drawbacks: It is expensive compared to others. I have another toaster that I prefer but it is in my other home. It is less expensive than this one and better. Also, there needs to be some type of ring or buzzer to inform the consumer the item is toasted and ready to be picked up and prepared by the consumer.

My wife loves this toaster. She first mentions the bagel feature, which she uses for all kinds of odd breads like chabati. Yesterday she used the re-heat feature and mentions it. She just loves the control the unit gives her. I told her I had enough info for this review.

This toaster is complete junk. The first one I got burned the toast on one side and uneven on the other. Cuisinart replaced it and the 2nd one did the same thing.

Returned first one, because even after two cycles @ 6 (the highest setting on first model), toast from all kinds of bread was still hardly golden. Replacement came and noticed it had a high setting of 7. Bread still takes at least two cycles at 7 to approach golden brown. Photos show ciabatta at 1 cycle and 2 cycles. Would love to get toast darker.

I have been searching for a toaster to replace a very old one that I had for 20 years. I got my money's worth out of it. Before finding this toaster I had purchased 3 other brands and each failed to live up to what it's supposed to do so I had to return them. I took a chance on this toaster. The Cuisinart is a little expensive at other stores but cheaper at Walmart's but still high for a machine that only toasts bread but I'm glad I got it. I love the motorized function...it 's not only cool to watch it doing it's thing.....but it's also a safety feature. If toast gets stuck in there the toaster automatically shuts off. I like that a lot. The results I get are even toasting, fast performance, 2 soft sounding beeps to tell me the toast is done and the confidence for me to not have to keep an eye on it all the time as I did with my old one. Nice--- my family and I enjoy having our breakfast in a flash. Since I have had a bad experience with the 3 other brands I have also purchased the protection plan, in case this fails. I truly hope not but these days I find things don't either work at all or don't last.

OK…so it's $68 for a toaster, which honestly was about $20 more than I thought I'd spend, but this thing is awfully good. I never thought the 'Bagel' setting was anything I would want, but try a bagel toasted on one side just once and you'll be a convert. And the digital settings are spot-on accurate every time. And one last thing…the motorized control is just plain cool! press the button and your bread slides down with ease. No cheap spring-operated lever…just a smooth descent into perfect toast making.

I bought it for the buttons. The first time I used it I had the setting too high. But the second time around I got it right. It is so cool to watch the toast go down and up with a push button. So what it cost a little extra. You got a Cuisinart! And you deserve nice stuff!
