While this toaster cost a little more than I would normally spend on a toaster, it works really well without too many bells and whistles. It has settings for most types of bread (bagels, English muffins, toaster pastry, etc...) It is a Cuisinart so I'm hoping it will last for a little longer than most of the cheaper toasters. I'm satisfied.

The esthetics of the toaster are pleasing and the controls are located logically. The stainless exterior finger prints easily. However it cleans up well with a micro cloth. If the defrost cycle is used with frozen waffles they come out soggy. If i turn up the heat the right waffle gets burnt at the bottom. This toaster seems to do the same to an English muffin when set to the correct setting.

Hi .my previous toaster was a cuisinart and work perfectly for almost seven years loved it so when it started burning almost everything we purchased a new one .but to tell the true not happy with it's performance.have it set clear up to seven and it's still to light and uneven toasted ..very disappointed side to side toast in different.

I like that it has different settings than most, eg bread, waffles, pastry. It's good quality which I expect from Cuisinart. Only thing I don't like is it doesn't have a reheat button.

This toaster was purchased to replace an Oster model that stopped working less than 6 months after purchase. So far it works really well - the various settings for bread, bagel, frozen, etc. are nice additions. The only thing I don't like is the size of the openings (which is a common problem with all single slice toaster models) - they need to be about 1 inch longer for odd size breads.

We really like that you can choose the item you are toasting to make sure it is how you like it. I like my bagels toasted on each side so I don't use the bagel feature but my husband does. I like that it cools down quickly so we can put it away faster.

We absolutely love this toaster! The kids love it and want one of their own when they go away to college. :) It cooks evenly on either setting that is set and we have toasted just about everything from bread, bagels, bagel thins, English muffins to waffles. A great edition to our busy kitchen.

I am not impressed. A bagel toasts on one side only (apparently some people only like one side of the bagel toasted/warm??) and toast is VERY uneven. The bread always curves to one side and has to be put in twice (reversing the sides the second toasting) to get both sides reasonably toasted and then some of the area is burned while some is barely toasted. The attached photos are of both sides of the bread after toasting twice. If only toasted once, even set very high, the bread is barely toasted and only on one side, even though the elements appear to be evenly lit up on both sides. Very disappointed. I should have returned it but was out of town for quite awhile after it arrived, so ended up keeping it. I do not recommend. this toaster.
