As for performance blending and chopping food, I'm very satisfied. I have just a few minor issues. The Blade easily falls out when you're pouring anything out of the bowl. A lock-in place, bayonet type feature for the blade would solve that. The A/C cord could be a little longer. A little pouch to store the rotary blades would be convenient.

When making scalloped potatoes why stand and cut every thin slice. In my house dinner shouldn't take hours to prepare. The main reason why I bought this processor was to cut time in preparing my sons favorite side dish. The Cuisinart slices each piece with perfection and in 10 minutes my baking dish is full with beautiful thin slices. Making Cole slaw is another reason why I wanted this processor, my favorite summer side dish. I also use it for bread crumbs, salsa and many other dishes. I always buy Cuisinart products, they never fail me or my dishes.

Nice heavy duty kitchen appliance, I use it to prepare my dogs meals, consisting of raw meat, it handles this with ease, clean up and sanitation afterwards is relatively easy and fast. The amount of time it runs combined with the weight of what it’s processing doesn’t seem to overheat the motor. The weight of the motor keeps it pretty stable on the counter when in use.

We purchased this model based on excellent reviews. We were replacing another brand that was more than 10 years old, but the slicer had finally broken. We have used this new one several times and it has worked quite well with no difficulties. Definitely keep the upper blades in a safe place as they are razor sharp.

The only downsize to this processor is that it come with only 2 blades , it would be better if it comes with 3 different size blades because you don’t have to spend more money in buying a bother size blade because the machine is already expensive even after sale still expensive

I am very impressed with the food processor..I had used my friend's Cuisinart processor and that is the reason I bought one..I have to admit that this model isn't as quiet as my friends, but they did pay for the better model. This does all that it is suppose to and a good deal for the price.

I purchased this product about a month ago, with the intent of using it for chopping vegetables, slicing tomatoes, and shredding potatoes. In order to chop vegetables, the manual states that for best results you should first cut them into one inch pieces. I did that but it still did not give very good results, I ended up with assorted sizes from big chunks to tiny pieces.Next I tried slicing tomatoes, but found that the feed tube was entirely too small, unless I cut the tomatoes down to size, then I ended up with a lot of wasted food and very small slices of tomatoes.I then moved on to shredding potatoes, and again the feed tube size came into play forcing me to cut the potatoes into fourths. The shredded potatoes came out marginally ok, but remember that I still had to use my knife and cutting board, so that just gave me more dishes to wash on top of washing all of the food processor parts. To sum things up, I am not satisfied with the results and will probably never use this food processor again. I will however continue to use my cutting board, box shredder/grater and sharp knife the old school way! Not to be entirely negative, I do have some advice for anyone considering purchasing this food processor. Find a family member, friend, or even a neighbor that has one and ask them to give you a demonstration or even let you borrow it so that you can decide for yourself. One man's trash may be your treasure! Just because this product didn't work out well for me, it may very well be just what you're looking for, if not, then you will have saved some money. Like I said in the beginning, maybe I just don't get it, it just seems like it's more work than it's worth to me.

My sis and niece got me this for Christmas, and what an improvement!! I use the main part for pureeing chicken and clams for my cats food. Also used the slicer/shredder for veggies etc.and it worked great. So nice to have a sturdy, functional piece in the kitchen.
