Very powerful motor. Great to be able to use either 12-cup or 4-cup bowls. Design does make it hard to clean inside the lid though. Be prepared to remove the lid gasket every time for cleaning.

Food processor seems to do a good job blending and shredding. My only complaint is the rubber seal along the top of the container?it has to be removed each time for cleaning and can be a slight pain. But, I guess it?s better than my other Cuisinart, which does not have a removable seal and gets gunk stuck in it....

I love this food processor. It is the right size to sit on my counter and still fit under the cabinets. I love the two different sized bowls for large or small amounts to be processed. The main reason I bought this model is the adjustable settings on the slicing blade. It is so easy to get the exact thickness you need. You don't have to have six different size blades cluttering up your kitchen, all you need is one. BIG selling point. So far I have cut onions, celery, cabbage, and shredded cooked chicken breast. So easy and fast. I recently watched a youtube video on this model where the presenter stopped working on it because she said that it was not possible to clean under the seal on the lid/cover. This was not an accurate representation of this appliance. You have to make sure that you completely close the front of the lid (spout area) before you start processing. The seal does come out and is very easy to clean. I am glad I purchased this processor before viewing the video. I love this appliance and would recommend it to everybody.

This is my first food processor and I could not have made a better choice. Everything about is simple to do. The included small bowl is such a clever idea & I find myself using it more often than the large bowl. hard to go wrong with this machine.

I love this food processor. It is a perfect size for two. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Having both a large and small processor bowl is fantastic. The small bowl is just right for making hummus. I also love trying out different blades. I knew Cuisinart had a good reputation but this machine is great.

This is my third food processor from Cuinart. The first I purchased in the late ‘80s and loved it. The was one was a gift received three years ago and I loved it. Unfortunately a small piece of plastic broke on the food chute and eventually required replacement. The replacement food chute only worked once and thus the third purchase of this model. This particular model is wonderful as the blade locks into the bowl, enabling easy pouring of contents from the bowl. It also has a seal on the lid to prevent spillage when pureeing. The adjustable slicing blade and the machine's power were the final reasons for buying yet another Cuisinart. Great product so far.

The lid placement is so much easier on this processor. The buttons do not take excessive pressure to operate. So nice. I use it almost daily. I hated having to get the old processor out of the cupboard. Instead I would just chop everything by hand. The cleanup is much easier too.

After 30+ years of use, my old Cuisinart gave up the ghost. The only drawback it had was if you placed too much liquid in the machine it leaked. Not so with the Elicit Collection 12 cup Cuisinart! This is a great machine and I really like the ability to adjust the slicer as well as the large or small compartment adjustment. I would highly recommend this product. It's worth every dime!

I've used this quite a bit mixing heavy batters, chopping nuts and slicing. It is different from my old DC L10 in that it has more places for food to get trapped in cleaning however, I am so pleased with it's capabilities and the fact that the blade doesn't fall out and leak.

I don't know what to say other than that i had a kitchenaid before and this one is superior. i like that the cord winds up underneath for storage. I also have the blade storage box and that is helpful. i also find it easy to clean. i do not put in dishwasher though.
