Lights up but does not turn on. Very expensive for an appliance that sometimes works. I cannot count on it. Very frustrated. Hopefully Cuisinart will replace.

I am loving my processor for sure. I had another brand that I was very disappointed with. Returned it and then purchased the Cuisinart It has lots of power, good size feed tube and two sizes of shred. The other great feature is the adjustable slicing blade. Of course, it does great job. on the chopping

It is a good size food processor but very heavy base. I don't have a lot of counter space so it has to be stored in cabinet when not in use. Lifting it from cabinet to counter is not an easy move for senior citizen with arthritis. The nuts were chopped too fine even when I used the pulse function. I imagine with some design changes/ advancement, there should be a way of keeping the blade stay put until you are done with all the chopping. Instead every time you empty the container, the blade came out with all the chopped food.

I recently switched over to a Cuisinart due to experiencing poor quality and lack of power issues from a new Kitchen-Aid food processor. Side by side and dollar for dollar it's painfully obvious who makes the better food processor nowadays, Cuisinart is hands down the most powerful and best by far, in its price point and performance. Although the style is drab & basic, I HIGHLY recommend this product!

I needed to replace my 14 year old 4-cup processor and decided to go with this much larger 11 cup Cuisinart. I have only used it twice, and have only used the shredding blade, but it did a great job shredding my vegetables. I was also pleased with how relatively quiet it is compared my previous processor. It's sturdy and quite large, but will not fit under my upper cabinets, so I store it on top of the refrigerator. I wish it had a blade compartment built into the bottom for the discs (like my old processor did), but that's a small price to pay for this upgrade. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

I had a Cuisinart food process for decades and when the bowl finally cracked, I bought this one. Overall, it works very well, but I thought the High & Low buttons would remain depressed until the Off button was pressed. They do not and must be held down. I'm disappointed in this "feature".

I bought this model to replace a working Cuisinart food processor because food was being caught in the inside rim. This model is even worse. It has a rubber gasket that keeps it from securing top by going in crooked and won't let machine work. I have to hit the high button two to thee times before it will stay on - acts like the pulse button. I shredded cabbage (do like the two sided feature) but again the food was packed around the inside rim. The first time I used it (and I've been using processors for years) as I turned the top a piece of plastic snapped off on the edge by the handle. One nice thing the bowl has a closed bottom. If I hadn't given my daughter-in-law the older one, I would throw this one in the trash. So very disappointed.

Had my old food processor for 10 years, the difference in performances, ease of use, and flexability is fantastic. I make all my tart shells in a food processor, and my new Cuisinart E-11cuts preperation time in half. I am looking forward to learn what other great things I can accomplish in the future...

This is my third Cuisinart food processor - it works well - love the feeding tube being at the front of the processor rather than at the rear - also love the lid fitting more tightly. All in all, I really loved my previous Cuisinart Classic and its "feel" - I don't get the same "feel" with the Elemental - hopefully, in time its "feel" will grow on me!
