This is my first indoor grill, And I'm 100% satisfied with this product. Very easy to use!! ... very stylish, blends perfectly with my kitchen appliances, durable quality. Removable plats can easily be washed either in dishwasher or with sponge. I will recommend this product to everyone that loves to make sandwiches, grilling and making breakfast (pancakes, bacon and eggs) .

I love the features and how this unit cooks food. I've had it a couple of weeks now and am beginning to wonder about the quality and design/engineering of the product. The 1st thing I've noticed is the mechanism that support the top griddle being only on one side causes the lid to be lower on one side than the other. The lid is too heavy to be supported only on one side. The next thing I've noticed is a heat crack on the front panel right next to the lower griddle. But my wife and I love this griddle.

The Griddler Elite is a fantastic product. The advancement features from my older Griddler are amazing such as thermostat control, the ability to select one side on or both, and to be able to have heat lever of top and bottom different makes the Elite my go do for so many recipes.

Very good quality griddle. Heating element is built into the griddle plates which distributes the heat much more effectively and evenly. Loving this griddle!

Well built, nice amount of surface space and easy to see controls. Unfortunately, no matter what temperature I set the dials for the actual temperature once it beeped that it was ready was just shy of 600 degrees as checked with two different infrared thermometers. Tried to make burgers and it was so hot that it created a massive amount of smoke and my house (not just the kitchen) smelled from meat fat in nearly every room for a couple of days. I tried two different units a few months apart and had the same results with each. If there was no temperature issue I would have kept it, even though you do need a lot of space to store the unit because it cannot be stood up on end.

I bought this to replace another indoor grill. I love how I can set individual temps for top and bottom... The sear function looks interesting although I have not tried it yet. but I've cooked, chicken breasts, pork chops, grilled sandwiches... all came out perfect and the timer right there is perfect. The grills are heavyweight and sturdy.. very easy to clean. Also I don't think it's clearly identified but the heating elements are INSIDE the grill plates. Which provides a much better heating surface. The lid will lock down for storage and the slider also provides adjustable heights if that is needed.

We've had a new Griddler Elite for a month or so now. This device is the absolute best!! We cook everything on it now...breakfast, lunch and dinner. We can cook more food in less time and the clean up could not be easier! I cannot say enough good things about this grill. It's very well made and attractive. It cooks evenly, accurately and much quicker than expected. It has a number of interesting and useful features like the adjustable top and the ability to open flat. It really is worth the price. Additionally, we purchased the Cuisinart Coffee Center several months ago. OMG!!! We've had every coffee maker every made...this is THE BEST ever!!

At first I was not so sure that I had made a good purchase considering how much. I have had and used other so called non-stick griddles and the coating came off very quickly with regular use and gentle cleaning. This unit has changed my mind. It is worth every penny. The plates are easy to remove and easy to clean. I use this every weekend for preparing my weekly lunches. It gets a lot of use. So far, the temperature matches my thermal infra-red temperature gauge and I am able to consistently prepare and cook meats, pennies, pancakes and others with precision timing and control. A little more expensive than others, but well worth it.

Six weeks of near constant use has validated that this is a quality product that can't help but save you considerable time in preparing your meals. My wife didn't think she'd use it much but after it was delivered and we tried it, she used it every day. What took 30-min+ in an over for chicken breasts now takes 6 minutes - with grill marks! We found that the perfect medium rare on a couple of steaks requires 2-min sear + 2-min cook on 400 degrees; no turning required. After a 5-min foil tent rest, it's absolutely mouthwatering. Especially on the chicken, we monitored doneness with a meat thermometer until we got our timing down pat. We were so surprised it would produce completely done meat, yet so juicy, in so short a time. Burgers come out impressively delish since the adjustable closure stop ensures the meat isn't squashed during cooking, preserving all that juicy taste until you bite into it. I made a large batch of turkey breakfast sausage and it came out even better than my oven version. And the excess fat rolls right into the tray no matter what you're cooking (bacon produces a lot), so it's not swimming in a pool of bubble-popping grease that splatters all over your kitchen. This model is one of the few that has separate temperature settings for each side. That's the trick to fast-but-thorough cooking. Many other models have no temp settings at all, which just makes some dishes impossible. We're both working parents with teenage girls very active in after-school events, so what a relief it is to have a real dinner (no nuked, salt-laden box products) ready to eat in under 30-min every single day. And it fires up to working temp surprisingly quick (3-4 min). This model did trick me the first few times using it because I set the temperature, was standing by rolling my hands together in anticipation, waiting for the alert tone that it was ready, and ... nothing. Okay, dummy me didn't click the Start|Stop button. Duh. I was actually surprised how easily the food remnants come off during a hand wash. I've used many a so-called nonstick product before but after six weeks of almost daily use, I can attest that this one really is. It naturally collects charred remnants in between the raised elements on the grill side of the plates, but it takes little more than running your dishwashing tool over it to get it off. Seriously, no real scrubbing required. Then it takes just a second to pop the plates back onto the unit, waiting for the next task. I didn't think of writing a review or else I would provide pictures but I can state genuinely that you'll be happy with this unit. It's one of the more pricey models but it'll keep you from messing around with lesser units. Cooks food to perfection so quick, enhances the taste and quality of your dish, and it's easy to clean. Win-win.
