What are people say about Danby 120 Can Beverage Center : Small Modifications Make it Great After reading several reviews, I bought this fridge (along with about $200 worth of beer) for my husband's Christmas present. I wanted a fridge with transparent door (so that we could see when we are running low) and something that could hold a good amount of beverages (so that we don't have to use our main fridge for storage). This fridge works great for our needs.

We purchased this beverage fridge about a month ago and are quite pleased with it. It holds a lot of drinks and keeps them pretty cold. One caution...you must be sure that the door closes all the way as if it isn't pushed firmly, it will remain slightly open. I would suggest picking it up when you purchase it and checking it over carefully before leaving the store--Danby does not pack them very well, so they often come dented.

Great fit for my space, good capacity, keeps drinks nice and cold. Just allow enough room for ventilation. Glass for makes it easy to see when to reload drinks.

For what I wanted this little fridge for it has been perfect. My review is a little different I suspect, so here goes. I use it to store my craft beer; primarily ales. The thing to understand is that big ales are best served at around 50f - 55f degrees. They also age best at this temperature. My goal was to achieve this temperature without spending too much money or getting too complicated. I had read on forums that this little fridge would achieve 55f or better on it's warmest setting. They were right, it certainly does with minimal tweaking! No more waiting for bottles to warm up before serving, and no more worrying about bottles I intend to save for a few years either. Perfect for my needs!

We had space limitations due to the depth, the Danby fit the measurements othess did not. The beverage cooler has operated to our expectation, with extremely good performance and styling.

I absolutely love this product, with one exception. When the compressor turns on, i think its a little too loud and it makes an annoying pulsating sound instead of just a constant humming.

I was going to get the Danby frig without the freezer, but saw this new item. It better serves our purpose as a bar/beverage frig, looks nicer, cost less, is a little smaller overall but holds a lot of beverages. We put 4 bottles of wine, a 12 pack of beer bottles, and two six packs of other bottled beverages in it, with some room to spare. It seems to be working fine, cold at the medium setting, is quiet, and was doubled boxed by Walmart, to avoid past concerns over dents on Danby products. For the money, we are pleased. These types of units can be very expensive, and many of the more costly ones had poor reviews. If you leave ample space for airflow, per manufacturer recommendations, you can put it under a counter, we did with no problems with overheating. It is not recommended as a built-in, which means no visible space around it for ventilation, more like a dishwasher. So far we are pleased.
