Now I want one at home too! The only thing I didn't like was the users manual. It was a little vague in parts and it doesn't tell me what to do when the machine is full. Shut it off, unplug it, or what? It keeps making noise like it's trying to make ice if I don't unplug it.

I really like how easy this is to operate. It produces ice quickly which is a big plus. The only issue I have with it is that it is a bit noisy while operating. Other than that I think it is a good value.

I would have a positive review, except for the fact that once the ice cubes melt, it tastes like plastic. We have run it through twice with vinegar water, but it still tastes like plastic. We are hoping that this taste will wear away. When we ordered this, we read the previous reviews - I am surprised no one else complained about this. Will be getting out the manual and may be contacting the company who made this ice maker to find out what we can do about this. We may give an update later...

Even when the ice bin is full, It does not stop making ice. It has caused the elements to freeze up.The ice has a funny taste. I am probably going to return it.
