DeLonghi Livenza Convection Oven with TriplePro Surround Cooking and 2 Racks Reviews

I received the Delonghi Convection Oven a short while back to use and provide my opinion. I have never owned or used a countertop convenction oven before this and found that it provides easier cooking and is very helpful. I really had no idea of the uses this counter-top model would provide. I was surprised that the ease of which this unit had available, the many choice available to use it from defrosting to cooking a frozen pizza to broiling steaks. I found it amazing that the pans in the unit can be dishwasher safe, except the crumb tray. And, after broiling my first steaks in the unit, I did just that, took the drip tray and the shelf with the slatted surface and I put both into the dishwasher. The slatted tray worked well in the dishwasher getting cleaned up and looked great with no steak junk left on it. The drip tray was 90% clean of the juices that had dripped out from the broiling, and a quick wash down in the sink took care of that issue. The pieces were just fine after coming out of the dishwasher....no stains, discoloration or scratches. So, they appear to handle the dishwasher just fine. This product has 2 slatted trays, 1 crumb tray, 1 drip pan and a pizza pan. It is very sturdy, solid and fits nicely on my counter top between my stove/oven and the refrigerator. I found this very easy to use, with the 3 knobs available. I tried a frozen pizza the first attempt and I killed it, as I didn't read the instruction manual and put it on the top rank, basically broiling it. My other couple of pizzas were very nicely done. You have very nice display that shows you all of the options, and there are many 8 presets to start: Defrost, broil/grill, convection, bake, cookies and a keep warm feature to start. The oven states on the glass that it stays cool, which it does very well. But, the top of the over gets very, very hot. Do NOT put anything on top when using the convention oven. But, don't put ANYTHING on the top as it gets burning hot. The presets are nice. Pulling a pizza from the freezer, turning on the oven and putting the pizza in immediately to the preset temp/time, was great. It did a nice job after I turned the dials to say the pizza size 10 inches and the rest was already done, temp, time, etc. Push the start button, close the door, and it was watch and wait. Nice pizza. The pizza pan did a lovely job on the crispiness of the crust and the top did lovely with the browning of the cheese and baking the toppings. I haven't attempted cookies, breads, etc., yet, as I wanted a couple of items to push through. Between 3 different pizzas and broiling up steaks, I am excited about this product and look forward to utilizing it a lot during winter as we are not able to grill as much with bitter cold temps, the deck being frozen over and slick. This will be great to pull out frozen steaks and broil them up in no time for supper. Even with the heat of summer, this didn't increase the heat in the kitchen too much, was simple to use, and did a very nice job with the items that I have put through it so far! I am happy to have gotten a chance to try this through TryItSampling and look forward to many uses.

Not only is this DēLonghi Livenza True European Convection Oven absolutely beautiful to look at on the counter, but the details in the design and construction are truly well done. *The long cord so you can find it's perfect spot to be showcased, yet still be able to plug in farther away if need be *The large opening in it's wide handle so you can wear an oven mitt and not mess around putting one on after opening the door * The "pegs" that stick out on the back to prevent it from being pushed too close to the wall for safety. * The gorgeous blue backlit display that is pleasing to the eyes and easy to read * An interior light to see progress while cooking without having to open the glass door *The inside of the back wall is rounded providing a few extra inches for the pizza pan to fit in perfectly *The 2 racks with 4 height adjustments is brilliant, I can do a tray of tater tots and a whole pizza at one time without switching pans halfway through * Automatic shutoff has kept me from charbroiled cookies because I got sidetracked and didn't hear the beeping...super smart addition ;) *The dials glide smoothly, no "click" to listen for or feel * The manual is put together well and includes settings for quite a few foods. Even though the display is user friendly, the manual did help me until I was more familiar with how this unit functioned vs a traditional oven. *And including a pizza pan, the 2 racks, a baking pan, and crumb/spill catcher is a welcome surprise- no running from store to store hunting for accessories that will fit!   I will say though that the top and glass do get quite hot, I wouldn't call it cool to touch at all so that part is a bit misleading, but not a deal breaker at all :) just make sure you leave the recommended space allowance (and don't play Patty cake with the glass lol)   Also this thing is very heavy and takes up quite a bit of space- BUT it is so modern and classy, and looks amazing on the countertop.. you'll want it kept out so everyone can see it   This small appliance has put my full size oven into hibernation- I haven't had to use the big energy hogging hotbox since receiving this, from baking full size pizzas to broiling a single grilled cheese, roasting a stuffed chicken or defrosting a chunk of ground beef, I've done it all without having to heat up my kitchen Every last detail is well thought out, making this unit feel super premium-DēLonghi really hit another one out of the park [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I never thought someone could love a kitchen appliance. I was wrong. This DeLonghi Livenza toaster oven is so much better than our old one. It cooks faster and more evenly than our old oven. We are busy people and use our toaster oven a lot so we don't need to heat up the big oven. I've cooked pizzas, toast, and cookies in it so far and both came out great! It's almost dead silent when it's cooking so there is no loud ticking noises first thing in the morning when someone cooks toast. It has more interior cooking space but takes up less room on the counter than the old toaster oven. I like the tinted glass a lot and the door is solid feeling and makes a good seal. I had no idea I could love a toaster oven so much. It not only looks good, but it works great. In the past, I have never owned a toaster oven that cooks so precise. It comes with multiple trays and has multiple functions. The pizza and cookies function make perfect cookies and pizza every time. We use the toaster oven multiple times a day and it still looks brand new. It��s so easy to clean due to the nonstick interior. The outside is actually smaller than my old oversized toaster oven, but the inside holds more. Go figure. I can make 2 personal pizzas with this toaster over, where with my old one I could only make one. It's a pretty amazing toaster oven. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This toaster oven is amazing. At first, I was a little overwhelmed with a new piece of kitchen equipment, but the quick start guide really helped make it easy to get started. It's rather large, so it takes up more space on the counter than I'd like, especially given the clearance from walls required, but it worked flawlessly. And I love that I can fit so much food in there at once cooking for my family of 5. I also love that not too much heat escapes when I use it, making it perfect for cooking in the summer heat. This baby is great! I have a large Thermador professional double oven range. It takes a long time to pre-heat and then makes my kitchen hot during and after use. This unit is much larger than expected, but I am still impressed. The outside does not get super hot, but it is very warm to the touch while in use. It came with 4 different racks/pans, including a pizza pan. There are multiple slots where you can place your particular rack, depending on what you are cooking or if you are broiling. This unit is so easy to use that my kids have mastered it in days. I feel better about them using this than the large oven, as it seems safer and is easier to access their food. The oven is very quiet and preheated very quickly. It even has an interior light like a big oven. There are multiple options: regular oven, convection, broil, toast, defrost, etc. All seem to work well. As of now, I can find no negatives and it's a good looking unit as well. WOW! Ok, this thing rocks! I have never used a toaster oven before, but when I was originally thinking what this was going to be like, I was thinking the old George Forman grill from college days. Yep, not even close. Fast forward 12 years, now 34 and married with a kiddo...this is something you absolutely want. I thought my life was pretty great. Waiting 10+ minutes for our oven to heat up to 350 degrees, seems to be nothing, not even a second thought. Until we used this oven and realized it took 2 minutes. Mind Blown. You mean I can save 8 minutes every day, that's 56 minutes a week, 2912 minutes a year = that's 16 NFL games I could be watching MORE (and making killer nachos and sandwiches using my new toaster oven). This thing is a beaut. It's shiny and sleek. The size is perfect to fit on the counter with enough room under normal cabinets. It's lightweight too, so it's easy to move, clean, and throw at someone if need be. You never really think about it much with an oven, but it sure is nice to gaze deeply into your oven and watch your food perfectly heat up. Just pull up a high chair and stare into your ovens eyes and watch those perfectly moist cookies rise, ready to be eaten and ooze it's delicious rich chocolate onto your taste buds. I am so thrilled with my new toaster oven. De'Longhi knows how to design a product that is just as beautiful inside as it is out. It preheats in a fraction of the time it takes for our conventional oven to, and bakes/toasts to perfection. The screen is very user friendly yet sleek. I love the added cookie setting. I was very pleased to have a pizza pan included but my baking tray has a scratch on it right out of the box. There are also some loud, popping noises that occasionally occur that I have read can be common in toaster ovens, but was a little alarming/concerning at first. I absolutely love this oven! My first creation in the oven was mini pizzas. The oven pre-heated much faster than my regular oven, and the convection setting cooked the pizzas faster! There was virtually no set up time, and figuring out the controls was a breeze. I was pleased to see that there were automatic features for frozen pizza and cookies. That addition will be great for my husband. I am also thrilled to have something that I can teach my son's how to use without having to worry about them burning down the house, because the oven turns off when the cooking time is complete. I got the DeLonghi Livenza .8cu.ft. True European Convection Oven and as soon as it came i wanted to try it right away and let me tell u it did not disappoint i roasted a whole chicken and some vegetables in it and it came out so good and cooked perfectly inside and out very evenly. Then i thought why not try baking some cookies for my boys and they came out so good and baked rather quickly. I love so many things about this machine from the digital display to the fact that u can do everything that the bigger full size oven can do in a nice compact machine that fit on my counter and doesn't put off as much heat which is a big plus with the heat of summer and it great for my boys to throw in one of there favorites a frozen pizza....
