If this were a $25-35 grinder, I would probably give it 4 stars, but since it?s probably one of the most expensive hand grinders I?ve ever personally used, at a whopping $50, I have to give it 3 stars. The thing just doesn?t grind very consistently for a burr grinder. It has 8 grind settings, but you really can?t even use settings 4-8 because it basically renders the beans into a bunch of randomly sized shards and bits. Aside from its inconsistent grinding, the top is hard to take off if you don?t have long finger nails or something to pry it. Those are my only cons. Otherwise, it?s a fantastic looking grinder and I love that it has a glass bottom and a wooden turn handle. But I just can?t give it a better rating with those fundamental issues.

Grinds really well with a little annoying squeak. It's sleek, and well made. Easy to clean too!!

This grinder seemed nice at first. Nice construction, good heft to it, and nice convenience features like the grinder settings and silicone grip on the bottom. But after using it for a few days, I noticed that the brass bushing that the crank axle goes through is way too soft and the steel axle was grinding not only coffee, but a nice amount of brass dust that was ending up with my cofee grounds. I also tested it against a cheap backpacking hand grinder I have, and the results were disappointing. For $20 on Amazon I can get a cheap hand grinder that grinds TWICE as fast this one. Overall, it looks nice, has some nice touches, but is really slow, and adds brassing shavings into your coffee.

I have never used the manual coffee grinder before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised. This coffee grinder it's very well designed. It is easy to assemble and it does an excellent job grinding the beans. I love that you can adjust the fineness of the grind. It even comes with recommended settings for various types of coffee makers. Unfortunately it does not come with a recommendation for use in K-Cup machines. I have found from my own personal experience that a finer grind usually works better. I found that 2 seemed to work the best for me personally. I also love the future of the sticky bottom. It helps so much in Grinding the beans without tiring you out. I would highly recommend to this manual coffee grinder. Just take note that if you like freshly ground coffee every morning you will need to allow time to grind them your morning routine. I found that if I fill the hopper to the line with beans it takes me approximately 10 minutes to grind them all.

I love this grinder, finally I can have a coffe made with freshly grounded beans! This is an extra special step I do on the weekends, as I am used to the pre-ground coffee during the week, when I don't have extra time. I had a package of coffee beans from Starbucks in Seattle and I put this grinder into good use. I used the fine expresso setting as I used a moka to prepare the coffee. I must say that I did notice a difference in my coffee aroma, it has more depth and flavour. I am very happy with this product, I love its design and its performance.

I LOVE drinking coffee. So, when I saw this coffee grinder, I wanted to give it a try. I was able to assemble this coffee grinder in about three minutes without even reading the instructions. All you need to do is open the top of the coffee grinder and place some coffee beans in it. Then place the handle into place and start turning it. There are several levels of grinding sizes on this coffee grinder for the various types of coffee you want to drink. You can go from 1 through 8. The instruction manual tells you which of the numbers stand for the type of coffee you would want to use it for. There is an espresso, aero press, pour over, Chemex, cold brew or French press grinding levels. Once the grinded coffee falls to the glass base, you can scoop out what you want and if there is any left in there you can just leave it in there. You can leave it in there, because it comes with a screw on lid for the glass bottom base. I thought that was a very nice feature. I thought this coffee grinder was very easy to use and did an excellent job grinding my coffee beans to the consistency I was looking for. The only issue I have is I wished they would have made the glass bottom a lot bigger.

I bought this grinder because it was on sale. I bought it because it looks nice and it allowed precise grinding. It is all of these things and more. However, I cannot hold onto it with my hands and it is too difficult to use. I will be buying a different grinder.
