I've had similar drip makers and find this device results in an often clogged pour as well as poor quality coffee. Not happy and would not recommend.
It also seems unnecessarily bulky, the top portion really not needing to be so tall. I had hoped to use it for travel but it's too big to bother in a suitcase especially considering the poor coffee it makes.

Bought this as a spare unit for my mom. It's great since it takes up very little space, is durable and is easy to clean. Makes a decent cup of joe.

It makes good coffee. You control the amount. Fully packed it makes a very strong cup. Easy to clean. Much better alternative to the standard Starbucks automatic office coffee.

I love this brewer. It does leave some grounds residue on the bottom, which may bother some people, but since I drink organic coffee, the more of the bean I consume, the better! Just keep the coffee grounds from getting on the mating of the two pieces, by wiping both surfaces with a clean paper towel. This will ensure a good seal, and no leaks. When you clean the grounds out, same story. Wipe the area where the bottom piece intersects with the top piece. 100% satisfied, but I would like for the company to make a 100% stainless steel version so I could avoid plastic and potential toxins leaching into hot water. Since almost all coffee brewers use plastic, this one is no worse in that respect...
