First toaster I've had for years that toasted BOTH sides of the toast at the same time! Sounds ridiculous but I cant have been the only one that was flipping and retoasting every time I made toast! Lol! Seriously good toaster and only about 30 bucks!

This toaster did not toast evenly. Usually, this company produces good products. It left areas of untoasted bread. Also, on lowest setting, bread parts that were toasted were too light. On next highest setting, it burned in areas and white in others. It was well packed, so it was not a matter of damage to the toaster in shipping. Returned the toaster.

Has three options how to use: cancel, bagel and defrost. To defrost is my favorite, to make toast straight from the fridge. Also there is tray for crumbs to clean afterwards. Must have at my house. This is the best toaster I think I've ever owned. It has some really cool features such as special settings for bagels, and a cancel button. The cancel button pops whatever you're toasting right away, which is great so nothing gets burned. And you don't have to pull up on the handle like you had to older generation toasters. There is a clicking noise when turning the knob for the amount of toastiness you want, which is also helpful so you know its working. Its an excellent toaster and by far the best I've ever used. Got this toaster because we like bagels and it has extra wide slots. There are several perks to this thing! One it is pretty fast! I'm not sure it's twice as fast but definitely faster and with six kids anything that makes good faster is awesome. Second it has the ability for you to push the handle thing up a bit in order to get smaller/short items out easier. This is great for us because we often make mini bagels in it which are tiny and sometimes difficult to reach- not so using that function. It also has a defrost function so you can put frozen items in it. The design is retro and sleek and I absolutely love the look. Modern yet classic. Can't beat stainless steel beauty. The Farberware 2-Slice Rapid Toaster does indeed toasts bread faster than the other toasters that I've had in the past. I suggest you not stray far after pressing the toaster lever or you'll likely to get cold toast. Seems like 3.5 will give you a light toast- that's the middle setting. It goes all the way to 6. It has a bagel and a defrost setting as well. And a cancel button. It looks like you can only use the standard squarish size bread. I had to cut my long sour dough bread in half before placing in the toaster. I like that there are 4 "feet" on the bottom on the toaster that catch your chord so it stays in place and out of your way (see picture). I bought this about a week ago and so glad I did! This is hands down the best toaster I have ever had. It is high quality and durable with great features. It has a defrost option which is a great feature for frozen bagels!! It has extra wide slots for bagels, texas toast ect. The feature I love the most is that it has a high lift up option so you can reach food out much easier. Also it is extremely fast which is perfect for my morning rush!
