Hesitant, at first, about something other than premium brand Kitchen Aid or Cuisinart appliance but this thing works great! No more cold eggs waiting on stove as I cycle 2-slot toaster 3 times to feed my family. Now I just load up all 4 slots, drop 2 before eggs are done

I've only used it once since purchase and forgot what it was like to only need to go through the toasting cycle once. I replaced a toaster that we've had for several years, I waited way to long to replace it, it didn't fully toast the first cycle and it didnt toast on both sides. Im looking forward to the simple pleasure of getting a perfect piece of toast the first time.

Unfortunately was only able to toast 2 pieces of bread before I had trouble. It started to power itself off and on while toasting or just sitting there. It did look nice, though. Had to return it and decided to go with another brand because of the difficulty.

So far everything seems to be working well with this toaster. The lights stay on unless you want to unplug after every use. Looks nice and toast well on all settings.

This is our second Farberware toaster. The first one was non-digital and lasted over ten years. It only failed after being dragged off the counter by our German Shepherd. If this one is as good as that one we will be very pleased! They toast very well and the bagel setting is a great festure!

This is the second Farberware toaster we have owned. The first one was excellent and lasted over 10 years before our new GSD puppy dragged it off the counter by itself its cord. This one is even easier to use with the digital darkness display setting! It roasts evenly and quickly. The bagel setting is the bomb!

Toaster takes forever to make toast and the bottom half of the bread wasn’t done. I pushed down the levers, looked inside and fully one third of the heating coils were not working. We contacted Faberware and were told that the only way they would consider replacing it or giving a refund was to send it back at our expense in the original packaging in new unused condition. If we hadn’t used it I guess we would never have known it didn’t work. TOTALLY WORTHLESS!

Honestly it's nice enough for the price. Outside is all stainless and not 1/2 plastic like some brands. One thing to note: The bright blue LED displays stay on whenever it's plugged in (not just when in use). The instructions say to unplug the toaster when not in use... so that's the only way to turn off the displays. They're so bright they light up the kitchen at night.
After ‘burning in' the toaster by running it on level 7 a few times with no bread inside (per instructions) I let it cool and tested a few slices of bread to see which setting I will want to use on a regular basis. The knobs adjust from level 1-7.
The attached picture shows the result of levels 1-4. Level 1 is lightly toasted. Just barely tan. Level 4 is black. I didn't try 5, 6 or 7 as I'm sure at some point, flames erupt from the machine. If you like burnt toast, 4 is all you need. Level 2 is perfect for me. The wife likes toast dark but not like charcoal, so Level 3 is her choice.
Another note: I tried every slot and no matter which you use, the toast is a little darker on one side than the other.
So it's not perfect, but I'm not super picky about my toast.

We bought this Farberware Stainless Steel 4 slice toaster around 6 months ago. My main reason for wanting it is the fact that is has not only toast options but it also has bagel options. A lot of toasters don’t toast the bagel long enough and you have to toast it again. I have found that I don’t have to do that with this toaster and it also toasts English muffins perfectly. My husband also uses it to toast hot dog buns by placing them on top and turning it on like he’s making toast. We have purchased a few Farberware products since the toaster purchased due to how well it works.

I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase! Reading the reviews on Walmart.com prior to my purchase really helped! It's a nice looking toaster. I didn't realize the blue lights on the toasting display would stay on all the time as long as the toaster is plugged in, but it's okay the light isn't botersome and it it looks nice. The only thing I don't like is how hot the outside gets when you use the higher settings (6 and 7), but I don't really use the higher settings anyway. As recommend in the user guide, please be sure to run the toaster on its highest setting of 7 at least two times before use to burn off the 'out of the box factory smell'.

My daughter brought this for me for Christmas 2013. It worked fine for a few months and then the left side part that holds the toast went crooked and soon after that it wouldn't stay down. After cleaning the toaster last Sunday neither side would stay down.

Purchased one at Walmart in December, 2014. We use it daily for toast and bagels (four slices at a time - for breakfast, and sometimes lunch and/or dinner), and have been very happy with its function, reliability, and looks. Our unit is very consistent time after time, and operates flawlessly. We have learned optimum settings to suit us through trial and error, and appreciate that it can toast everything we try from very lightly to very dark, depending on the settings, which work exactly the same on both sides. Other reviews are noted, and we will keep our box and receipt, but ours is an excellent toaster with which we are very happy after several weeks of daily use.

Terrible toaster. Bought it for my mother for Christmas, and she had to ask me how to work it. I had to read the booklet to figure it out, and even then, it wouldn't work right. The toast won't stay down long enough to get brown, and you can't push it down again until it cools down. I had to remove the two pieces of toast from the two slots, place them in the other two slots and then brown them some more. Returning after using it only two days.

So far, it seems okay. We got this for Christmas and we've used it 6 times so far. My wife eats a bagel almost every morning and she did say at setting 6, it seems that not only does it not get very dark, it also seems to also turn the rest of the bagel hard but she's a little hesitant to set it on 7. When doing toast, we can't go above setting 3 or the toast comes out burnt. Also, whatever we're toasting doesn't get heated evenly, I like to have the toast/bagel toast evenly.

We've had this toaster for less than a year, and now the toast levers won't stay down at all. Unfortunately, I JUST threw the box out, so I can't take it back for a refund.

Toast bread uneven. With toast control all the way dark, bread is toasted lightly one time and almost burnt the next. Slow toasting. I would like to return this toaster.

Only had it a few months and now both sides are broken,
The metal that holds the bread is so cheap, you can bend
it just by looking at it, and I don't even wear a cape!
I'd give it zero stars if I could.

This toaster toasts evenly if you dont mind waiting 6-7 minutes. The bread seems stale from the extended time it takes to toast. For about a $100 I expect toast within a reasonable time. I returned this toaster and now awaiting a new one..

Bought locally.....cheaper price but sorry I threw box away. After using it only twice the left side toast holder on left came out of hinge. My husband fixed it as well as he could. Cheaply made for Farberware name.

Purchased this toaster from a brick and mortar retailer where I found it at a much better price. Toast came out perfect! Toasted in a nominal amount of time. For how long I can't say as I have only had it about a week now, but no complaints so far. It is about the same size of my old Cuisinart toaster and looks good sitting on my kitchen counter. Easy to clean with front pull out crumb trays.
