A little too early to review, but it has been excellent so far. My wife and I installed it ourselves without much problems. The only problem was the template for drilling holes, which was harder to deal with than necessary, but we were able to succeed.

I love my new microwave. It's easy to clean and doesn't have too many features. It has just enough features that I will actually use. My only complaint is that I'm not sure how to microwave for a time other than the pre-set 1min, 2min, etc. Sounds funny, but I might want to do 45sec, and I'm not sure how to do that other than to select 1min and stop it 15sec short.

The older version of this model was already awesome...yes, I liked the first one enough to replace it with the same model. In addition to having all the cooking features I need, this new one has better placed lighting and vents to help with stovetop cooking.

This is the second one in 3 years. I didn't care much for the first one. This one is far better. The operation is intuitive. I need to read the manual. The door closes securely, it's quiet and more powerful. A little thing I really like is the turn table works flawlessly and a 30 second warm up brings a coffee cup right back to the front. Small thing but far less frustrating. I'm very satisfied and would buy another.

I had a GE above the range microwave that i bought in 2012. It was very similar to this model that I replaced it with. I have teens now so this is survival cooking for them when Im away. Living without our old GE for almost 6 weeks was an eye opener as to how much we use it and even more how much our teens use it. It's simple yet has nice features for a basic family of 4. I have only had it installed for 2 days but it's quieter then our older one and hopefully lasts as long if not longer then the first one. The mounting bracket was the same as our older one and so we didnt use it. The bolt holes lined right up with the old ones. We had the old one out and new one in in about 10 minutes or less.

This microwave was very similar to the unit we bought 10 years ago and loved but this unit has a tendency to lock up whereby you get no heat, no program working for potato, popcorn, reheat. Had to totally reset, unplug. To get it to work. One service call, worked as soon as the guy walked in the door. Quit again a week later. Reset again and now it's working we are in week 4. We'll let you know down the road if I throw it out the window!

Have had this microwave for a day. It is a simple design, does not have alot of buttons. Good microwave for the price, hope it lasts longer than the one it is replacing that was only 3 years old. It is my 3rd GE microwave in this house over 10 years. Each one had a different bracket and screw hole in the top. Wish Ge would standardize the bracket and screw holes, I have alot o wholes in my cabinet.

Old microwave had too many options and was very loud. Just wanted a simple straight forward appliance .This is very quit, easy to use without twenty options that we would never use.Highly recommend.

The door panel scratches so easily from simple cleaning. My brand-new microwave turned into an aged microwave after an initial scrubbing. Why did GE choose such easily-scratches material? Does GE think their customers don't clean microwave door panel? If so, I am definitely NOT a GE customer!
