Honestly this was the third one I ordered. The first one didn't have the inside stuff. The second one had the inners but I think they sent the wrong set. Appeared to be too small for the pot and when water percolated it went around the side instead of in the grinds. This one worked perfect and is from the same manufacturer as the second one.

well made and love the pattern- but disappointed no metal flip on handle to pop open the lid- afraid when I use it lid will be hot to open it, if need to.

I like the percolator, although there is one thing about it I did not count on. The handle gets to hot for my hand to touch.

The inside that hold the coffee grounds (the stem) is cheaply make and bent very easy. Mine bent the first time it was cleaned.
